Been coming here for a while now. Lasagne's still solid, and the place keeps that cozy feel. Prices haven't gone crazy either, which I appreciate.

The owner still remembers us after all these years—even brought water for my dog. That personal touch is why I keep coming back.

Solid food. Tried the mixed grill, tasted like something off a backyard barbecue back home. Beetroot salad on the side was decent. Place was packed, took a while to get the bill. Would eat here again though.

The grilled fish here was properly done — crispy skin, juicy inside. Paid way less than I would've on the coast, which honestly surprised me. Local wine paired nicely too. Place was quiet when I visited, just a few tables. Not fancy at all, but it felt right.

Reasonable prices and the portions were solid for what you pay. Tap beer was fresh too. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a quick bite.

Solid spot for a quick Sunday lunch. The spread is decent, makes up for no weekday buffet. Staff were friendly, service was fast enough.

The tasting menu hit hard with bold flavors, though things slowed down a bit after the surf-and-turf. Solid meal inside that castle setting.

Build-your-own wok was solid. Got the prawn, bamboo, noodles with black pepper — hit the spot. Quick service too.

Stumbled onto this place while wandering the old town. Got the beef tartare with bone marrow — that combo really works. Meat menu in general looks solid. Staff spoke English fine, which helped since my Slovenian is basically nonexistent. Cozy vibe inside, nothing fancy but comfortable. Would go back to try the other stuff.

Came here with a couple of friends after a long drive through the vineyards. The food was fresh and comforting, exactly what we needed. Staff were friendly too. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s kind of the point. Nice little escape from the city 😊

Nice dairy-free cake with my coffee — not something you see every day around here. Quiet spot to sit and take your time. Staff knew what they were talking about when I asked for suggestions.

Decent spot near Terme Čatež, just a short drive away. Food was well presented and tasted good, plenty of options on the menu. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe a bit quiet for a Saturday night, but that didn't bother us. Would come back if we're in the area again.

The mushroom soup was the highlight for me—rich, earthy, and the portion was surprisingly generous. I also tried the wild boar with gnocchi and cranberry sauce, which hit the spot. Staff were friendly without hovering. Solid spot for traditional Croatian food in Samobor, though it did get a bit busy later in the evening.

Food was solid and the house wine went down easy. Service dragged a bit even though it wasn't packed, but they comped us a drink to make up for it. Fair enough.

Erdinger on tap was cheap, especially for being right on the main square. Had a couple pints, that was about it. Service knew their stuff, pointed me to the right beer. Didn't eat, just drank. Prices are fair for where it sits. Good spot if you want a decent beer without getting ripped off.

The grilled trout was fresh, flaky, came off the bone clean. Lemon and herbs did their job, nothing overdone. Ate outside, river noise in the background. Price was decent for the portion. Maybe not a destination spot, but I'd order that fish again.

The food here really does taste homemade, you can tell they make things fresh every day. I had a simple pasta dish and it was comforting, the kind of meal you don't want to rush through. Service was friendly and let me take my time. Only small thing, the chairs are a bit hard after an hour. Still, a nice spot for a relaxed lunch.

The beef tartare was the standout. Fresh, properly seasoned, not overdressed. Wine pairing matched well, especially the red with the lamb. Terrace view is nice but honestly I barely noticed it. Food did the talking. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. Solid spot if you care about the cooking itself.

Pizza was solid. Crust had that proper chew, sauce actually tasted like tomatoes. Had the pasta too, cooked right. Best in Celje? Maybe. Service didn't bother me, I was too busy eating. Place gets busy around noon, so go early if you want a table fast. Prices fair for what you get.

We stopped here for lunch after walking around Samobor. The place looks really nice inside, a bit more elegant than I expected. I had the local specialty and it was solid, nothing fancy but tasty. The terrace would be lovely in warmer weather. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food. A decent choice if you're in the area.

Stumbled in here on our last night and finally got the beef soup I'd been craving. Lamb was solid too. Wine pairing advice actually helped instead of the usual vague stuff.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Risotto frutti di mare was solid, squid cooked right. Portions fair for the price. Service was a bit slow, but they sent out a free appetizer while we waited. That made up for it. Good spot if you're in the area and not in a rush.

I’ve only been here a few times, but the staff actually remembered me. That kind of attention makes you feel looked after. I had the grilled chicken and it was cooked just right. Seats are comfortable too, which I appreciate. A bit busy on a Saturday, but nothing that ruined the meal.

The buckwheat krapi with sour cream and cracklings hit the spot. Pork shank for two easily fed three of us, still had leftovers. Place stays busy with locals, which says something. Service kept it simple, no fuss. Solid spot if you want proper Slovenian food without tourist markup.

The Sunday buffet had plenty of gluten-free choices, which I appreciated. Quality was better than I expected for the price.

Came for dinner and left properly full. Portions are generous, no doubt. I had a glass of their house red with the grilled fish, decent enough pairing for the price. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us. Menu's got a good range, even for vegetarians. Nothing fancy, just solid, honest food.

The playground and animal sculptures kept the kids busy while we ate — food was solid, especially the fish. A bit pricey, but the setting made it worth it. 😊

The cevapcici with ajvar hit the spot—properly grilled, juicy, not dry at all. Shrimp were a nice surprise too. I had a glass of their house red, which paired better than expected with the smoky meat. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Service friendly enough, nothing fancy. Solid stop if you're craving Balkan classics.
