The pork schnitzel was perfectly crispy, and that lemon butter sauce was fantastic. I had a nice glass of Grüner Veltliner with it, which cut through the richness just right. A solid choice for a weeknight dinner.

Loved the quiet, intimate vibe here. The fried artichoke hearts were spot on, and they had a really nice house red that paired beautifully with them. My friend's chicken parm sandwich looked massive. Service was friendly and not intrusive at all.

The cedar plank salmon is always solid. I've tried it at a few places, but theirs is just better. Moist, smoky flavor, cooked just right. That's the move here.

The corn on the cob here is so good, it actually reminds me of cornbread. The booths are really comfortable, which is a nice plus. It's a solid spot for BBQ in St. Louis.

Really enjoyed the quiet, private feel here. Service was smooth, never felt rushed. The chocolate cake was rich, not too sweet. That brandy peppercorn sauce on the steak was something else. A solid spot for a calm dinner.

The breakfast tacos were tasty and the portion was generous. Service was friendly and quick, which made for a nice, easy meal.

Chris H. was a great server. Got my burger and fries out super fast. Perfect for a quick lunch break. The place was packed but he kept things moving.

Loved the retro decor here! It's so chill and quiet, perfect for catching up with my girls. We could actually hear each other talk for once. 😅 The vibe is just right for a relaxed dinner.

The owner and staff are genuinely kind people. You can tell they really care about this place. It has a lot of history, which makes it feel comfortable. My only note is that the chairs are a bit hard for a long meal.

Stopped in right before closing, and the staff was really nice about it. The kitchen manager even came out for a quick chat. The place was spotless. Food was decent, though a bit rushed at that hour.

The bartender really knows his stuff. He made a fantastic cocktail off the menu for me, and the pour was generous. Loved the white Bordeaux they suggested. A little pricey, but the vibe was just right.

The escargot and French onion soup were spot on. Love the vibe here, feels right whether you're with friends or just grabbing a bite alone.

Great toasted ravioli. Lobster spaghetti was solid too. Service was on point, atmosphere felt classy. Good spot for a nice dinner.

Been here a few times, always solid. Did the tasting menu last week, the morels were seasonal and fresh. Wine pairing was on point, nothing felt forced. A good spot for a reliable dinner.

Been coming here for years. The food is always spot on, even if the portions aren't huge.

Lettuce wrap and chicken pineapple wrap were solid. Sushi rolls are a decent size for the price. I got the spicy tuna and it was filling enough for lunch.

The bar's wine selection is solid. Had a glass of their house red, it was smooth and went down easy. Sat outside, which was fine, but honestly I'm just here for what's in the glass.

The Caesar salad here is a real standout. The romaine was crisp and fresh, the dressing had a nice tang, and the croutons were perfectly crunchy. It felt like a genuinely good, simple choice.

Been coming here for years. The staff remembers us, and the food's always solid. Had the grilled salmon last night - cooked just right, skin was crispy. That kind of consistency keeps us coming back.

The chowder was the star, just like everyone says. The smoked salmon sandwich was huge and tasty, but honestly, the chowder stole the show for me.
