Hofbräu München is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and a lively atmosphere. The beer selection is excellent, and the service is top-notch, especially with staff like Tornado Johny making your visit memorable.

The food was extremely delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and enjoyable. The waiters were also really friendly and warm people. That was my 3rd time there and every time I visit the restaurant I leave with full stomach and a great feelings.

The food and service are always perfect, right down to help in picking a perfect wine from their cellar. See you next time!

We had a pleasant dinner. The Burger were really good and also the fries. The place is very nice. I really recommend it for a visit

We really enjoyed the food, the people, and ambience. Usually I go for the experience but this was delicious and I would return.

We shared the brisket, which was done to perfection. It comes wirh two sides and two sauces, great deal. We competent and attentive service. This has been a very nice experience

I was impressed by the authentic flavors and the variety of vegetarian options available. Each dish was seasoned perfectly, making for a delightful meal.

Firstly the food was excellent - although when I ordered a schnitzel I was expecting one and not two. Why not give people the opportunity to have a smaller portion - as with some other dishes? We ordered a bottle of Riesling and were a bit surprised when it was decanted. I thought it might be a new “hip ‘n’ trendy” thing - except that no other diners’ white wine seemed to have been decanted. I should have asked why ours had been but felt it was more trouble than it was worth. Our waitress was charming but rather patronising; I should have known better than to ask for an Aperol Spritz by way of an aperitivo. Lovely location. Just felt we failed to measure up the the restaurant’s expectations for their diners.

We visited here for an early dinner on a sunday, using the 30% discount advantage (only for meals) via TheFork. The place was not crowded at all for a weekend. The atmosphere is quite nice and the toilets were very clean. Coming to the dishes, except some of the experimental ones, we were overall quite satisfied. Especially the meat place was delicious. Staff was very kind and friendly. As we used the discount, the price/performance was good but without that I believe it would be too much comparing to what we had. Especially the price of the 0,2L house wine was double of the 0,1L and was 8 Euros which is too much for a house wine. This could definitely be arranged differently.

The truffle linguine was lovely, and the staff made us feel really looked after. Just wish they had more dessert options.

Stumbled in on a rainy night, other spots were full. Burger was solid, service quick. No complaints.

The schnitzel here was honestly the best I had in Hamburg. Got it with fried onions and mushrooms on top—definitely the right call. Portion was huge, I couldn’t even finish it. Kind of a random spot but perfect for a casual dinner with friends. Would come back just for that dish 😊

The tuna avocado sushi was solid, really fresh fish. Almost grabbed another plate but wanted to try the pho too. Place has this modern Vietnamese vibe inside, looks like they put some thought into it. Outdoor seating seemed decent for warmer days. Fair price for the quality, nothing fancy but does the job.

The lunch menu was pretty limited—no naan or Thai options, which was a bummer. Butter chicken tasted mostly like tomato sauce, but the staff were friendly. Fine for a quick bite with friends, I guess. 🙂

The English menu made ordering so much easier. We picked dishes based on other diners' photos and everything we tried was tasty.

Service was the highlight—attentive but not hovering. We walked in without a reservation and they still found us a table. That never happens around here. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the staff made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Would come back just for that.

We went for the tasting menu and sat by the window. View of the Alster is nice, especially as it got darker. Food was decent — technique is clearly there, even if a couple of dishes didn't fully land for me. Wine pairings were pretty good, matched well. Service was fine, attentive without hovering. Not cheap, but fair for what it is.

The view really is the main reason to come here. We sat by the river and it was lovely, even though the food was just okay. Service felt a bit distracted that day, but honestly the scenery made up for it. I’d go back for the setting alone, maybe just for a drink next time.

The Labskaus was solid, really well seasoned. Zander and salmon pan fish were good too. Place has a nice vibe, though it did get a bit busy.

Friendly staff, Safdar and Diana really looked after us. Even brought ice for my daughter's ankle. Solid spot.

The schnitzel was really good, crispy and tender. I liked the open kitchen, it’s a nice touch. The seating was comfortable, which I appreciate. Service was friendly, no rush. Maybe a bit loud, but fine for a casual dinner. I’d come back for the food.

Solid tapas. Patatas bravas were on point, cheesecake was a good finish. Service? Yeah, they were on it, friendly enough. Bill came, bit steep for what it was. But you pay for the vibe I guess. Fine for a one-off.

Decent spot right by the harbor. Burger was solid, fish cooked well. Service friendly but a bit slow. Terrace is nice though.

Got the pistachio scoop and they threw in a tiny taste of their weekly special. Creamy, not too sweet. Wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price though.

We got told 90 minutes at the table. Felt a bit rushed at first. Ended up staying way longer, no one bothered us. Food was solid, place has a nice vibe. Just that first greeting could've been friendlier. Still, good spot for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Came here on a quiet weekday evening and grabbed a seat by the window. The interior is warm, lots of wood and soft lighting. I had the seasonal pumpkin dish — nicely roasted, not too heavy. Portion was decent for the price. Service was friendly but a bit slow between courses. Would come back to try the rest of the menu.

The falafel was a bit dry and could’ve used more sauce. The dürüm though was solid, good portion. They had the Euro matches on, which was a nice touch.

Stopped by for a quick bite around noon. Got the eggs benedict — solid, nothing crazy. Place was warm and relaxed, staff friendly enough. Not the fastest service but fine for a chill break. Would come back if I'm in the area and need a slow lunch.
