The live jazz was a nice touch with dinner. I was glad they had a decent wine list to match the vibe. Music wasn't too loud, so we could still talk. Made for a chill evening.

No. 7 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Hawaii island

Been coming here for years. Their carbonara tartufata is always on point - rich, glossy pasta with just the right amount of egg, cheese, and truffle. It's the one thing I keep coming back for.

Saturday clambake buffet is solid. The lobster and oysters are fresh, sashimi's decent. Pricey but you're paying for the quality.

The grilled lobster was so tender, and the coconut curry sauce really brought out its natural sweetness. I appreciate that they use fresh, quality ingredients. It felt like a wholesome choice.

Honeydew boba and snow ice were a solid choice. Good flavor, not overly sweet. Price was reasonable for the portion. Made for a decent finish to the meal.

The pupu platter was solid, and the Hawaiian pizza hit the spot as the sun went down. What really made it for me was the bartender's suggestion for a tropical cocktail to take on a beach walk. That drink was the highlight.

Got here early, which was smart - it gets packed. The French press Kona coffee was a standout. Paired it with their breakfast plate, and the coffee really held its own against the rich flavors. A solid start to the day.

The view over the water at sunset is the main event here. Grabbed a table outside and just watched the sky change colors. That alone was worth the visit.

The Mai Tai was lovely. I really appreciated how fresh the lime juice tasted, you could tell it wasn't from a bottle. Perfect for watching the sunset over the water.
