Aciugheta

Their pasta dishes are excellent, particularly the pasta with clams and carbonara. A limoncello spritz and affogato here at an outdoor table on a sunny day are the best!

The restaurant is close to the piazza St. Mark. It was not so crouded. The staffs are really kind and friendly. I ordered Cicchetti (a kind of tapas), which is so tasty and reasonable for a lunch. I could enjoy a conversation with the Italian couple who were at the next table. They were eating pizza, which seems to be tasty as well. This is a very good memory for us in staying Venice!

We made the reservation a few minutes prior to arrival, but were assisted swiftly and courteously and accommodated inside (the terrace was full). Good and light pizza, friendly atmosphere and satisfying service.
