This small shop in the old city of Jaffa sells falafel, which is selected by locals as the best in Haifa. Falafel is a very popular Middle Eastern snack, which translates to fried chickpea meatballs. The chickpeas are mashed, onions and eggplants are added, and then made into meatballs and fried in a pan. It can be eaten directly, but the more common way is to sandwich it in a PITA bread, with various vegetables and hummus sauce, which is a super breakfast.
