This restaurant is very friendly and the food unique, exquisitely presented and very delicious, with combinations I would have not thought off.., all very excellent and a good value for French cuisine

Bit of a noisy surrounding in an atmosphere lacking coziness

We decided to have lunch outside, though a very hot summer day, and we had great time in the backyard, thanks to the shadow of the trees and fresh air. Maybe a little difficult to reach, this deep-country restaurant deserves to be found. Exquisite dishes in their finest form, very refined place.

Loved the cozy, historic building. The traditional Alsatian decor inside really creates a lovely, local atmosphere. It's a very comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal.

Lovely spot by the canal. The fresh air really complemented the meal.

Solid wine selection. Had a glass of their house red with the steak, and it was a good match. The wine list is well thought out, not overly long but covers the basics. It does complement the food.

Been coming here for years now. Food stays solid, staff actually remember you. Sat in the beer garden again last week, same great vibe as always.

Food was solid, but prices are a bit steep for what you get. Expect a wait, though the quality holds up. Fine for a one-off visit.

Steaks were like 30-40 EUR but honestly worth it for the quality. Burgers are a solid pick too, around 10-20 EUR. Good spot if you're out with friends 🙌

The currywurst is easily the best I've had in Germany. Prices fair, service quick. Place is small, but that's fine for a quick bite.

Loved the cozy interior and the menu had plenty of options. Service was friendly and quick. Would come back to try more dishes.

Lovely little square right by the church, perfect for a quiet drink. Service was friendly and prices felt fair. Sat outside and watched people walk by for way too long. 😄

The chicken breast 'Maja' was cooked just right, and those little baked potatoes worked well with it. Nice relaxed spot, nothing fancy.

The burger held up better than most pub grub, and their beer list had a few solid picks. Quiz night drew a proper mix of people. Would've liked a better wine option, but that's on me for asking at a place like this.

Came in for a late lunch, place wasn’t too busy. Turkey schnitzel was solid—crispy, not greasy, meat stayed juicy. Staff actually seemed to care, checked in once without hovering. That alone makes a difference these days. Portion was decent for the price. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area.

Book ahead on weekends, seriously. Place was packed when we got there. Had the green curry and it hit the spot. Staff nice enough, not overly chatty. Solid Thai option in Saarbrücken, nothing fancy but does the job. Maybe slightly touristy but I'd still go back.

The grilled octopus was the one dish I kept thinking about after leaving. Cooked properly, soft inside with that charred edge. The bacon salad with poached egg also worked well. Been here a few times, quality stays consistent. Portions are decent for the price. Just wish they had more seating, but the food does the talking.

Stumbled in here on a whim and it turned out fine. Got the schnitzel, portion was generous and it was pretty good. Service was quick, no complaints there. Open all day, which is handy. Decent spot if you're in the area and don't want to think too hard about where to eat.

Great music, decent drinks list—the bartender actually knew his stuff when I asked about a good wine pairing. Place gets loud, so don't come expecting deep conversation. Fine for a lively night out with friends though. My cocktail was solid, nothing mind-blowing, but the vibe carried it.

The mixed grill for €23 was a solid deal — plenty of meat and really tasty. Place feels a bit old-school but that's part of the charm. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends. 😊

Nice spot with a comfortable vibe — the seating is actually comfortable enough to linger a while. Service was solid, vegan options were a nice touch. Prices are a bit steep, but you can tell where the money goes.

The pizza was incredible, honestly some of the best I've had. But what really stood out was the space itself – the high ceilings and those big windows made the whole place feel so light and airy. Just a really nice spot to sit and enjoy a meal.

Traditional menu, healthy portions. The staff was so kind and helpful, really made us feel welcome. A nice, straightforward spot.

Had a cozy dinner here after a long day. The portions are seriously generous, I could barely finish my plate! The house red they suggested went with it really well. Just what I needed.

Delightful experience. We were a bit late, speak almost no French and one of our group wasn’t able to make it. They were still very accommodating and we had a fantastic lunch. I don’t even like fish and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Stayed at the hotel next door. Waking up to that view of the treetops was so peaceful. The breakfast was a real highlight, especially the fresh pastries. Rooms were lovely and quiet.

Great spot for vegetarians. The menu has clear labels for vegan options which is super helpful. The hummus was really good, creamy and flavorful. A solid choice for plant-based eats.

Decent pizza for a quick bite, and they're open daily. The wine list is basic but works with the food.

The cakes and coffee are always solid, and the place feels cozy enough. Portions are decent for what you pay, so it's a fair pick for a quick breakfast.

The bread alone is worth coming here for. Portion sizes are decent for the price, nothing crazy but fair. Outdoor seating was a nice touch.
