I was curious about their Christmas menu and the haggis pakora was a real surprise. It was perfectly spiced and crispy. Love that they switch things up with the seasons.

The beer garden is a real sun-trap. Had the smaller portion of fish and chips there last weekend, perfect for a lazy afternoon. Decent pint to go with it.

The sticky toffee pudding is the real deal here. Came out warm, sauce was rich and not too sweet. Perfect quick treat after a main.

Been coming here for years for their Sunday roast. The beef is always cooked just right, not too dry. It's the one thing I know I can count on every time.

Great spot for a catch-up with friends! The staff were so cheerful and attentive, really made the evening. Book ahead for busy nights.

Been coming here for years, and their breakfast never disappoints. The full English is always spot-on, and the staff remember how I like my coffee. It's just a reliable, cozy spot to start the day.

Full English breakfast was solid. Quality ingredients, cooked fresh. Very filling start to the day. Good portion for the price. Service was prompt.

Perfectly located in the town centre, just a short walk from the station. Managed to get a table without any fuss on a busy Saturday, which was a nice surprise. The space itself is really light and airy, with high ceilings and big windows.

Tried their Christmas set menu. For the price, the portions were generous and each course was well-prepared. Felt like a proper festive meal without the usual holiday markup.

Excellent service. Food was good. One downside was that veg had been under headlamps a little too long. But, otherwise a pleasant meal with great, professional, friendly service.

The manager was so nice! He took time to explain the menu to our group, which was great because we could all decide quickly. The whole team was really on it - our food came out fast and they checked on us just enough. Made for a really easy, relaxed catch-up with friends.

The doner kebab here is a solid choice. I really appreciated the fresh salad and the separate sauces, so I could control what went on it. The pizza bread was warm and held everything well. The place itself was spotless, which is always a good sign.

Service was nice. They remembered I liked extra napkins from last time and brought them without asking. Little things like that make a difference.

Came for an afternoon cocktail, and the bar team was a joy to watch. They really take their time with each drink. My old fashioned was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. A bit pricey, but you're paying for the craft.

The full English breakfast was spot on. What really stood out was the staff in the morning - so friendly and chatty, it made the whole vibe feel really welcoming for a lazy catch-up.

Quick lunch spot for Indian food. Got the chicken tikka masala, decent portion, came out fast. Service was efficient, no fuss. Good for a quick bite when you're in a rush.

Been here a few times now. The food is always spot on, you can tell the chef really cares about what they're putting out. That's what keeps me coming back.

The staff were so friendly, really made you feel welcome. Food was lovely, but honestly the portions were a bit on the small side for the price. Still enjoyed it though.

Great spot for a catch-up! The beef rib was so juicy, and the pints were spot on. Really friendly vibe for a relaxed evening with mates.

Decent pint, lively vibe. The music was spot on, not too loud. Pool table's a nice touch for a casual night out. Staff were friendly and quick.

The beef pie was the star for me. Flaky pastry, rich filling, just spot on. Honestly the best I've had. The rest of the meal was nice, but that pie made the visit.

The sticky toffee pudding was a real highlight. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth.

Lovely spot with plenty of seating inside and out. The scones with jam and cream were a real treat.

Nice little spot tucked away at the back of the inn. The room is quiet, good for a proper sit-down meal. Felt like a bit of a treat, just what you want sometimes.

The eight-course dinner was a solid deal for what you get. They really took their time between courses, which I appreciated. No rush at all, just a relaxed evening.

Popped in for lunch on a Monday. The soufflé was just as good as I remember. Light and airy, with that perfect, delicate crust. A lovely little treat.

Lovely spot after a long walk in the North Pennines. They have a really good selection of local ales. The staff were friendly and the seating was comfortable, which was just what I needed.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The Greek-style rigatoni was spot on, just what I needed. Dog-friendly with outdoor seating, perfect for a fast bite. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Great location in Pooley Bridge, easy to get to from the main road. The on-site parking is a major plus, saved us a lot of hassle. Makes it a practical choice for a straightforward meal.

Had the jerk chicken with a couple of custom tweaks, which they handled fine. It's proper home-style cooking, really hearty. My partner's plate was cleared way before mine, so I guess that says it all. A solid meal.
