Hunter Steak House Royalton Hotel

Came in for dinner, got the tomahawk steak and a bottle of Chianti. Steak was cooked right, had good flavor. Waiter checked on us just enough, not too pushy. Place was busy but we didn't wait long for the food. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a proper steak without the fuss. Prices are what you'd expect for this kind of place.

The New York steak with demi-glace was really good. Music was chill, not too loud. Service was friendly and made it easy to relax.

The lighting in there does something to you—makes everything feel slower, more intimate. T-bone came out exactly how I asked, and the sides were actually enough for two. Service was attentive without hovering. Just a solid spot to sit and eat without rush.
