The trout pie was solid and those bird feeders by the tables are a nice touch. Owners clearly put love into the food. Would've liked a better wine option to go with it, but the homemade desserts made up for it.

The mixed paella was the star — so much flavor in every bite. Chef even came by to check on us, which was a nice touch. Service was solid too.

The road up is rough, definitely need a 4x4, but that sunset from the top gets me every time. Split the ribeye with my wife, plenty for two. Owners still remember us from last visit, that's why we keep coming back.

Came for the view, stayed for the food. The chef came out to discuss the menu, and the catch of the day was perfectly cooked. The brownie dessert was a sweet ending.

Stopped by for a quick bite before heading out. Got a smoothie and it was solid, not too sweet. Place has that funky decor, kinda kitschy but it works. Staff kept it moving, no long wait. Good spot if you're in the area and need something fast.

Came here on a busy Friday night, place was packed. Got the tasting menu, every plate came out looking like a painting. Took a few pics, then ate it all. Flavors were solid, nothing crazy but definitely above average. Service was on point, the guy running the place knows his stuff. Only thing, you gotta reserve or you're not getting in.

The menu's got everything from casados to fish tacos — those were solid. Desserts looked good too. Staff kept checking in, place was clean.

Stopped by this beachfront spot with my friends and honestly the pool area is what got us. Super chill vibe, not too crowded when we went. The staff were really nice too, made us feel welcome. Great place to just hang out after swimming. Wish we had more time to stay longer! 🏖️

Took a drive out here and the red snapper was worth it. Fresh, cooked right, and the seafood rice hit the spot. Place is a bit off the beaten path but that's part of the charm. Fair price for what you get.

The gnocchi and crème brûlée were really good—flavors felt refined but not fussy. Service was attentive without hovering. Nice spot if you want a relaxed dinner.

The ice cream cookie sandwich is the move here. Owner said it’s his grandma’s recipe, and honestly that thing is solid. Porch is kinda dark and low-key, good spot to just sit and chill for a while. Service was fine, nothing crazy. I’d go back just for that dessert though.

The General Tso's chicken was crispy, sauce had a nice kick to it. Place looks clean, cool vibe inside. Service was on point too.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the chicken breast in spicy sauce — sweet and spicy hit the spot. Portion was big for what you pay. Place is clean, nice vibe. Service was fast enough for me. Solid spot in Uvita if you want real Costa Rican food without the tourist fuss.

The patio is really nice at night, calm and chill. Gets busy during high season though, so come early or grab a reservation.

The trout lunch was a solid pick — came with a nice risotto and the smoothie hit the spot on a hot day. Good enough stop during the Envision festival.

Been coming here for a while now. The fruit salad keeps me coming back, got some fruits I can't find anywhere else. Ice cream's good too but that salad is the reason.

The owner roasts her own coffee. That’s the main reason I came back. Rich and smooth, didn’t even touch the sugar. The fruit plate on the side was fresh and cut thick. Place was a bit busy but I wasn’t there for the crowd. Just the coffee.

Service was quick and friendly. The flavors were on point—nothing fancy, just solid food done right. I had the grilled chicken and it was decent, maybe a touch dry on the edges, but the seasoning carried it. Pretty good spot if you're in the area and want a no-fuss meal.

Been here a handful of times now. Tacos and craft beer never disappoint. Gets a bit busy at peak hours so service slows down, but the sunset view makes up for it.

The burrito mananero here was solid, and their smoothies beat anything else I tried in Uvita. Staff were friendly enough that I kept coming back every morning.

This is my go-to spot for casados around here, hands down. The garlic chicken one is my favorite, and the plate is huge for the price. Honestly, the view is a nice bonus too. I've brought a couple of friends here and they all got it. Just wish they had a bit more seating, but that's it.

The frozen coffee drink was the move—homemade whipped cream on top made it way better than the usual stuff. Hit the spot after walking around in the heat. Kids got their own frozen drinks and were happy with those too. Service was quick, no complaints there. Solid spot if you need a cold pick-me-up.

The tuna steak was huge and cooked just right, super juicy. Shrimp ceviche hit the spot too. Service was quick but the place felt a bit stiff, not the usual laid-back vibe.

The view really is something else. We had the ceviche and it was fresh, bright, pretty good portion too. Homemade pasta was decent, nothing crazy but solid. Service was friendly enough, didn't have to wait long. A bit pricey for what it is, but the setting kind of makes up for it. Fine spot if you're in the area.

The bagels here are legit. I got the smoked salmon one and it hit the spot. Poppyseed and salt options are proper too, not those sad supermarket ones. Staff were friendly and patient while I took my time deciding. Only thing is it can get a bit busy, but worth it for a solid breakfast.

The black bean quinoa burger was way better than I expected—hearty and actually well-seasoned. Prices felt fair for the area too.
