We have used this carvery many times and the service was good. I must say that the place nees a make over.  I wish to mention that Danielle was again working hard. She looks for work to be done and was doing it even in another  area. She def needs a mention

Had their three-course lunch. Portions were decent for the price, honestly. Each dish was well-seasoned, cooked just right. Quality is up there with some Michelin spots I&#39;ve tried.

We had an early meal before the concert we were going to.  We had a small plate, brichetta, always very good and a tiramisu, to follow both excellent and  served very quickly,.  The waitress was very pleasant and efficient.

As a vegetarian, I love that they fry the chips in separate oil! Makes it easy to grab a bite with friends who aren&#39;t veggie.

Parking was close, so no hassle there. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients in my salad. The greens were crisp, the avocado perfectly ripe. You could tell everything was just prepared. That kind of attention to quality is what I look for.

Asif was super friendly and made the meal really enjoyable. The chicken tikka special was nice, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, a decent spot.

The calamari starter was nicely cooked and a good size.

All the staff who served me were friendly and efficient. The meat portion of my carvery was generous and the vegetables were hot and fresh.

I am local and have always loved this place. I&rsquo;m afraid we locals still refer to it as &quot;The Foaming Jug&quot;. There is a lovely &quot;olde worlde&rsquo; ambience about the place and the staff always so friendly and &quot;nice&quot;. Needless to say the food is excellent.

Food was hot enough and choice very good, a comfortable venue, one little complaint is I thought the soft drinks expensive, &pound;5 for a glass of lemonade.
