I've had this pineapple fried yogurt from many other places before, but theirs tastes the most authentic. I suggest you don't add too many toppings when you order it; just eat it plain. The sweet and sour flavor is exactly the same as the pineapple popsicles that cost five cents when I was a kid.
This thick-cut fried yogurt is really popular, with long queues at the door. I did some research and discovered a trick: don't go during peak meal times; the shortest time is around 3 or 4 pm, and you can get your yogurt right away. Their yogurt chunks are cut extra thick, feeling heavy in your hand, making them perfect for photos—you don't even need to edit them in good lighting. I recommend choosing the ones with the most fruit toppings; the colors will be even more vibrant in the photos.
There are so many flavors of fried yogurt, it's dazzling just looking at the menu. The toppings are very generous, with plenty of red beans and crushed peanuts, and they're also generous with the jam. Remember to go early, because the topping station empties quickly in the afternoon when it gets crowded.
