The shaded terrace was a lifesaver in the summer heat. It was so peaceful, just sitting there with my dog. The staff were lovely with him too, which really made the afternoon.

They made a special kids' meal for my daughter, beef and rice. It was a nice gesture, but honestly, the portion was pretty small for what they charged. She still enjoyed it though.

The quality of the whole experience : the food, the awesome atmosphere, the very friendly staff. Such an amazing place !

First class food in a stunning modern building with beautiful view of the lake. Plenty of eager, professional staff to look after us. Only criticism is that two women’s toilets is probably not enough for such a large restaurant.

Val Moret is an amazing restaurant serving fresh locally sourced produce and cooked by a first class chef. I had the fillet of beef with Morel sauce and an assortment of tasty vegetables and a cheese board and both hit the spot. I would not hesitate to recommend this truly first class restaurant.

The staff here are always so nice. I popped in for a quick takeaway lunch and they had my order ready right away, still perfectly hot. It's the kind of friendly efficiency that makes a simple meal feel a bit nicer.

Lunch on the terrace was nice. The welcome was warm, and the portions were huge! The ice cream sundae really stood out—creamy and just the right amount of sweet. A solid spot for a relaxed meal.

Amazing food and our waitress was great, bit we were the only diners on a Saturday lunch! The restaurant is beautiful and food was excellent in a beautiful town. We did a lunch ski stop and was brilliant, but guessing when the champagne tourists come back it will be buzzing!

Solid traditional spot. The portions are generous for the price, which is appreciated. Service was efficient, no fuss. Good for a straightforward business lunch.

Loved the quiche here. It's right next to a beautiful old church, which gave the whole lunch a quiet, peaceful feel. Service was friendly and quick. A nice spot for a simple, decent meal.

Busy Saturday night, but service was still quick and on point. Ordered the steak frites, came out hot and perfectly timed. Impressed they kept it together with a full house.

Stopped here on a road trip. The set menu had some really fresh, traditional options. I appreciated the focus on quality ingredients. Parking across the street was convenient.

Been coming here for years now. The set menu's always reliable, fresh ingredients you can taste. That's what keeps me coming back. Had a nice chat with the chef again last time.

The owners are so kind, it feels like visiting family. They still make time for you even when the place is packed.

The Grand Marnier crepe was the star. That orange liqueur sauce, still warm, soaked into the thin, delicate pancake. Just the right balance of sweet and boozy. The savory ham and cheese one was fine, but it paled in comparison.

Found this spot last week. The owners are super friendly, makes you feel right at home. Tried the pasta special, portion was huge, easily enough for two. Price was very fair for what you get.

The daily special was solid - a simple, well-prepared dish. Service was prompt and friendly, which is appreciated during a business lunch. Good value for the location.

Booked ahead and it's just the chef running the whole show. The attention felt really personal, like a quiet dinner at a friend's place. The pacing was thoughtful, not rushed. Portions are on the smaller side, but each dish had a clear focus.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had a burger and a savory crepe. Portions were generous, service was fast. Good food for the price, no complaints.
