I had a wonderful experience dining on the terrace. The service was excellent, and the food was top-notch, especially the spareribs!

The best lambsrack ever ! Unbelievably succulent ! Large portion ! Pity one has to hurry before it gets cold. We ordered creme brulee for dessert. Very very tasty, too. Extremely friendly service at this place. We will be back.

We had the greatest meal and dining experience here on our last night in Groningen. Our food was terrific and the staff was amazing. Highly recommend!

Excellent variety of different middle eastern tapas.. Personal touch,, Short and very good explanation of the different dishes, Good advice on the wine. All in all a very nice experience, Baklava Lebanese style was really good, no honey, more nutty. . Really taking us to the middle east.

The staff is really friendly and they have a passion for their job ! ???? See you in a month again :)

Stopped by for dinner with a few friends. Portions are huge, definitely not leaving hungry. Got the mixed grill and it did the job. Staff was chill about us being a bigger group, even sorted out a small booking mess without drama. Prices feel fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Pizza was loaded with toppings, which I appreciated for the price. Service kept up even when it got busy. Kids' stuff handled fine too.

Had our anniversary lunch here last week. The truffle pasta was properly al dente, sauce had real depth. Bruschetta came out warm, nice char on the bread. Panna cotta was silky, not too sweet. Service was quick even though the place was packed. Only thing - tables are a bit close together, but that's typical for these small Italian spots.

Solid food, fair price for what you get. Inventive but not over the top. Place was calm, no loud music, just easy vibes. Enjoyed the meal without rushing.

Solid spot for a quick bite. Pasta was fresh and the service was fast enough for a lunch break. Wine list looked decent too, though I didn't have time to browse.

Perfect dinner - thanks to the whole team.Visited Groningen with the family, joined a nice evening. Drinks coming really fast, meal was absolutely delicious.

Decent spot in Groningen for a proper dinner. The historic room adds something, though it’s not overly fancy. Had the multi-course menu, local stuff like Wadden Sea seafood stood out. Food was pretty good overall, well put together. Service fine, maybe a bit slow at times, but I’d go back.

The lunch deal here is solid for the price—savory and sweet bites plus a smoothie and coffee. Everything tasted fresh. I paired mine with a glass of their house red, which worked nicely with the sweeter dishes. Only downside: the wait. It got pretty busy around noon, so come early if you're in a hurry.

The place looks great inside, staff were friendly enough. But honestly the food was kinda bland. Presentation was nice though, just didn't match the taste. Prices are fair for the area. Maybe they're going for subtle flavors, just not my thing. I'd come back for a drink maybe, not sure about a full meal.

The beer list is solid and the place has that proper old-school brown café feel. Had the shrimp croquettes with an espresso — both did the job. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciated. Only thing is the seating near the window is a bit cramped, but fine for a quick stop.

Tried their delivery tasting menu last night. Honestly the packaging was way better than I expected, everything labeled so I knew what to do. The instructions were clear and it all came together nicely. Would love to actually sit in the restaurant sometime, but this was a solid option for a lazy evening at home.

Been coming here for a while now. Jeffery still remembers my usual order, that’s why I keep coming back. Beer suggestion was on point again, not too heavy for a Tuesday night. Place gets busy but he handles it fine. Just wish they’d open the back windows when it’s warm, gets a bit stuffy.

The vegan burger was solid, and they paired it nicely with a good red. Service was friendly, though the place got a bit loud later on.

Great wine list to match the pasta—our sommelier picked a nice Chianti that worked well. The carbonara was solid, though the place got a bit loud later. Still, a good spot for an easy Italian fix. 🍷

Came here with five others on a Tuesday night. Service was smooth, no long waits between courses. I had the ribeye, cooked properly, decent seasoning. Others seemed happy with their picks too. Prices felt fair for what you got. Not a mind-blowing dinner, but a solid choice if you're in the area.

Food's decent but prices are a bit steep for what you get. The terrace is nice though, good spot when the weather cooperates.

Stopped by for dinner and the lamb tagine was spot on. Owner came by to chat, made us feel like regulars. Had a glass of their Moroccan red with it — decent pairing, nothing fancy but it worked. Place is a little tucked away, took me a minute to find it. Would go back for the couscous alone.

The croissants are always warm and really good. Just a heads up, the big cappuccino comes in a latte glass and tastes more like plain coffee. Still, I left happy.

The nachos are still my go-to here. 13.5 bucks and a solid pile of them every time. Staff's been on point lately too.

Wonderful restaurant!!! The chef's menu is superb...can chose between 2-5 courses. We had 3 courses...next time I will opt for 5 courses. Everything is prepared and presented with great care and attention to detail. Brilliant flavours!! The service is IMPECCABLE!!! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Our server made us feel that we were the only one's in the restaurant...even though it was quite busy. Very friendly, attentive, and happy. Thank you for the wonderful service!!! The atmosphere of the restaurant is so very warm, cozy, and elegant. Always come to Basserie SPH when visiting, and never disappointed. Can't wait to come back. Thank you for a nice evening!!

Stopped by for dinner on a work trip. Got the steak, cooked exactly as asked. Portion was decent for the price. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Place was busy but not chaotic. Solid option if you're in the area and want a no-fuss meal.

Beds were comfy, which mattered most after a long day. Room felt a bit dated, but for what we paid, it was decent value.

Every time we spend our holidays in the Netherlands we return to this nice Restaurant. Our Kids love to go there, the food is great and the whole team is very professional and friendly!Nice interiour and clothings worn by the stuft so it really seems to be an ancient pub….

The fish was good but honestly the curry coleslaw stole the show. Portions are generous and you get plenty of sides, so the price feels fair. We booked one of the tents which was fun, though the bar area seemed more lively. Service was attentive without hovering—they checked in just enough. Would come back for that slaw alone.

The Turkish eggs were seriously good. That garlic yogurt with the runny yolk just worked. I kept dipping bread in it until nothing was left. Place was a bit busy but whatever. Would come back just for that dish.
