The menu changes often, which I like. Had the grilled fish with seasonal vegetables—fish was flaky, veggies still had a bit of crunch. Not overcooked, not drowning in sauce. Portion felt right for the price. Staff let me take my time deciding, no rush. I’d go back for that fish alone.

The pork knuckle was the real deal—crispy skin, tender inside. Ate it with just mustard and a beer, didn’t need anything else. Portion’s big, almost too big. Slightly salty, but that’s how it should be. Didn’t care much about the place itself, but the food did the talking.

The ice cream really is the standout here — creamy, not too sweet. Sat outside on a warm evening and it was lovely, even with the street noise. Staff were friendly enough. Food was solid too, though honestly the dessert stole the show. Would come back just for that.

Came in around 11 PM and they were still friendly. Good vibe inside, food and drinks were solid for the price.

Booked last minute, got a window table. Pumpkin soup and pike-perch were solid, price fair for what you get. Service did its job. Nothing fancy, but I'd come back.

The food was really good and came fast, even for delivery. I tried it again in person and it tasted just as fresh. Nice to see the quality stays the same either way. Only thing is the seating area felt a bit cramped, but that didn't bother me much. Solid spot if you want a quick, easy meal.

The veal schnitzel was crispy, not greasy. Twister fries had decent seasoning. Portion size is fair for what you pay. Sauce was a bit bland, could use more punch. Place was busy but we got seated quick enough. Fine for a casual dinner, nothing fancy.

The burgers really stood out—fresh and well-made. Chili fries on the side were a nice surprise too. 🍔

Stopped by for coffee and a slice of cake. The vegan selection is decent, and the cake itself was good. Just a heads up, they're pretty sweet. Drink prices are a bit steep compared to the cake. Like the vintage look inside, but the chairs aren't great for sitting around for a while.

The cupcakes are always fresh, and that lime one is a winner. Cozy little place inside, good for a quick coffee and cake when it's raining out.

The food itself was solid. Had the duck breast, cooked properly, nice crust. Fresh ingredients, you can taste it. But those slate plates and the weird cutlery... annoying. Made the whole meal feel like a chore. Just give me a normal plate and a decent knife. The cooking deserves better than that.

Decent spot for grilled meat. Service was friendly, food did the job. Nothing fancy, but I'd go back if I'm craving that style.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Place looks nice from the outside, warm vibe inside. Got the food fast, which I appreciated. Tasted pretty authentic too. Host was friendly, made the whole thing easy. Solid spot if you're in a hurry and want something decent.

The Bibimbap Beef Bowl came out sizzling in that hot stone bowl, beef was tender and veggies still fresh. Portion honestly surprised me, plenty for the price. Just wish the gochujang was a bit spicier, but that's me. Solid spot if you're in the area and craving Korean.

Stopped by for coffee and a slice of cheesecake. Place has that proper old-school vibe, wooden tables, quiet enough to read. Cake was decent, not too sweet. Cash only though, nearly got caught out. Fine if you know beforehand.

Sushi’s decent but the rice needs more vinegar. Lunch was quick, staff friendly enough. Nothing special but fine for a workday stop.

The owner let me pick my own heat level—finally, an Indian spot in Magdeburg that doesn't hold back. Paired my curry with a solid lager, worked well.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Grilled stuff had that proper charcoal taste, which I liked. The tex-mex decor is a bit cheesy but kinda fun. Beer was cold and went down easy. Food came out decently fast, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Came here without a reservation and they still found us a table, which was nice. I had the schnitzel — crispy, not too greasy. The place was pretty quiet for a Tuesday evening, so we could actually talk without shouting. Wouldn't mind going back to try the other stuff on the menu.

Steak was properly cooked and the staff didn’t rush us at all. Bit of a trek from the tram stop though. Solid spot if you’re in the area.

The terrace is really nice when it’s warm out. Prices feel fair for what you get. I’ve stopped by a few times for breakfast now and it’s been solid every time. Nothing fancy, but it does the job well. 🌿

The beer list is solid, and the food holds up every time. I usually grab a table outside when the weather’s nice—that garden area is the main reason I keep coming back. Staff’s friendly enough, never had to wait long for a refill. Portions are decent for what you pay, so I never leave feeling ripped off.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Pizza had a good chewy crust, really hit the spot. Staff was nice, kept checking if we needed anything. Place is small but cozy. Only thing, it got a bit loud when more people came in. Fine for a casual dinner though.

The corner window seat was lovely. Burger was tasty and not too salty, which I liked. Pasta was just okay though.

The Mythos beer on tap was the highlight for me. Cold, crisp, exactly what I needed after walking around. Food was solid, nothing crazy. Staff friendly enough. It’s close to the Bauhaus, so easy to pop in if you're in the area. Maybe not a destination spot, but fine for a casual stop.

The meat platter was massive, honestly the biggest I’ve ever seen. Meat was super tender and the tzatziki really stood out. We liked it so much we came back the next day for pastitsio—perfect rainy day food. 🍖

The place looks super cute with the holiday decor 🎄 and the food was solid. Service was a bit meh though, kinda felt rushed. Still a good spot to grab dinner with friends.

We grabbed a table here before exploring the old town. The seasonal menu is really creative, you can tell they use local stuff. My pasta was super flavorful, and honestly the vibe below the cathedral is so cool. Staff let us chill and chat, no rushing. Only thing, it got a bit loud later. Still, great spot for a catch-up with friends. 😊

We stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table near the window. The duck with dumplings was really good, hearty and comforting. Service was friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. It’s an old place, been around since 1903, and you can feel that history in the dark wood and quiet corners. Only small thing—the asparagus with pork steak came out a bit cooler than I’d like. Still, a pleasant, easy meal.
