Big portions, and the flavors were solid. I liked that they didn't skimp on the veggies. Just wish the greens had been a bit fresher.

Gluten-free pizza dough that actually holds up? Didn't think I'd find that here. Properly risen, crispy edges, and it didn't taste like cardboard. I had it with a glass of their house red, which worked better than I expected. My only gripe—the crust got a bit soggy toward the middle. Still, for GF options, this is a solid spot.

The terrace view is really something else in summer. Food's typical Slovenian, nothing fancy but it hits the spot. Place handles big groups well.

Room was a bit small but the bed was comfy and the shower worked well. Second floor patio in the back was nice for a quiet evening drink. Location really is the best part though—five minutes from the train station and everything else. Didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Tried the pizza named after the place—thin crust, crispy edges, toppings actually fresh. Got lucky with a table right away, but it looked like it fills up fast. Would've liked a bit more sauce though. Solid spot if you're in the mood for a proper pizza fix. 🍕

The pork knuckle was crispy and tasty — pretty good overall. Cozy traditional spot, though it did get a bit noisy later in the evening.

The Käsespätzle was really good—cheesy, comforting, and clearly made fresh. Portion felt generous for the price. Owner was friendly too.

The cheesecake here is seriously good—probably the best I've had in Maribor. Cozy spot, staff was nice. Slightly pricey but I'd still come back for that slice.

Great spot for a group hangout—owner let us dry off and shower after cycling in the rain. Apple strudel hit the spot 🍎

Desserts rounded things off nicely, and the vibe was chill. Just wish we’d had a bit more space between tables.

Stopped by for dinner, the food tasted properly local. Waiter spoke German and English, real polite guy. Portions are huge though, one plate is enough for two honestly.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Got the schnitzel, portion was solid and came out fast. Terrace is fine but street side gets noisy. Good enough for lunch.

Deer medallions with almonds in honey sauce were the highlight for me. Never had that combo before, pretty tasty. Terrace is chill too, nice greenery around.

The grilled sea bass was really fresh, nicely seasoned. Interior's a bit old-school, but that's part of the local feel. Good spot for a simple, healthy meal.

The 9-course tasting menu was solid. Local ingredients, clean plating, flavors came through well. Wine pairing matched nicely. Service knew their stuff, explained each dish without dragging it out. Not cheap, but fair for the level of cooking. I'd come back for a special occasion.

We had our wedding dinner here and honestly the food was the highlight. Portions were generous for the price, which surprised me since venue food is usually tiny. The schnitzel was huge and the sides weren't an afterthought. Guests kept mentioning it afterwards. Only downside was the service lagged a bit when it got busy, but the value made up for it.

Stopped by after the thermal baths and grabbed a sundae. Huge ice cream selection, took me way too long to pick. Staff were really friendly, let me sample a few flavors. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something sweet.

Stumbled in here on a whim and honestly the pizza caught me off guard—thin crust, decent char, toppings actually fresh. Place has that proper pub vibe, low lighting, wooden tables. Staff let me take my time with the menu. Bill was fair for what I got. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Lemonade was spot on. Not too sweet, just right. Coffee solid too. Prices fair for the area. Service friendly enough. Cozy spot for a chill meal. Nothing fancy but does the job.

Came here on a whim and honestly the food hit the spot. Had the schnitzel, crispy and juicy, not dry at all. Service was friendly too, nothing over the top, just normal and nice. Place got busy around 7, so it got a bit loud, but I didn't mind. Would come back if I'm in the area.

The char risotto was really good, and they handled my dietary needs without any fuss. Pastries from their patisserie were a nice way to end the meal.

The terrace by the river really makes this place. I had the grilled fish and it was done just right—moist inside, light char outside. I'm picky about freshness and this didn't disappoint. A bit noisy from the water, but that's part of the charm. Would come back for the view alone.

The vegan plate was really fresh, and the portion felt generous for the price. Service was quick too. Just wish they had a bit more variety on the menu.

Came for a birthday, left happy. Wine cellar is something else. Traditional food but with a twist, liked that. Portions are decent, not huge. Place has that old-school vibe, kinda quiet for a Tuesday. Solid choice if you're into local stuff done properly.
