Was lowering my expectations as it was an unknown province when I booked the hotel but was pleasantly impressed by the size of the room for the price. It was also clean. I can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t had time for breakfast. But the stay was more than satisfactory. Along the same road there are f&b outlets and a longer walk will take you to Vincom Mall.

Business travelers highly recommend this hotel. There are some very authentic food stalls around, and the hotel also has restaurants to choose from. Beutyful homestay with nice rooms and delicious homecooked meals! The area is stunning, and there is a lot to explore. From the Homestay you have a beautiful view over the lake and ricefields. The family was so nice and welcoming, I would definitely come again!

Taiyuan is a small city around Hanoi, similar to the feeling of China's urban and rural junction, so there are not many hotels. But Jintai Hotel should be a better category in the local area. The hotel is in the city center, next to a huge monument, 15 minutes drive from the bus station. There are many small restaurants around. The front desk was very welcoming. Although the English and Chinese level was limited, they still did their best to provide quality service. They had a simultaneous interpreter. We met a girl who was fluent in Chinese at the time of check-in and helped us solve a lot of difficulties. The locals were really friendly. The room is large, well-equipped, and the air conditioning and refrigerator have a good cooling effect. The room has a wide and bright view. The equipment is old and the wall is a bit cracked. The standard of breakfast is super expected, the domestic 4-star standard, of which curry beef and pumpkin porridge are very good. And the restaurant is on the top floor, the scenery is beautiful. In summary, as a place where tourists have a rare footprint, it is very good to have such a hotel suitable for backpackers to travel poorly, and the price is super high.
