Really good stay staff really pleasant and helpful

Well located with convenient parking (£9/day) inside the shopping centre which is attached to the hotel. Staff were nice and friendly, breakfast plentiful and room clean. One downside is the ventilation in the room - entirely dependent on the hot/cold system and not very efficient. Windows have been screwed shut and there is no vent in the bathroom which is not ideal.

I came across this hotel by chance while visiting Hull with my son. It consists of two two-storey buildings, built in a style that’s very similar to classic American roadside motels — just like the ones you see in the movies. Every room, including those upstairs, has its own entrance that opens directly to the outside. Although it’s a budget hotel, the room, bed, and bathroom were all very clean. I had no complaints at all. One small but thoughtful detail was the shutter on the window — a great way to block out the early morning sun during summer in the UK. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Hull city centre. If you’re travelling on a budget and want a simple, clean, and convenient place to stay, this hotel is a great choice. I’d happily stay here again if I come back to Hull.

The 1 bedroomed apartment I stayed in was lovely, very clean and modern with a small well equipped kitchen including toaster, kettle, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher tea bags and coffee sachets. The bed is really comfortable and the bathroom large and attractive with a lovely walk in shower. The hotel is in a lovely location, in the old part of Hull, the Marina is about a 10 minute walk. Points to note,; it's a stones throw from Hull Minster and the bells are loud and ring every 15 minutes 24/7. The windows are not double glazed to prevent sound from the outside, but ear plugs are provided. There is no reception or staff onsite, so you need to know what room you are staying in and you need a PIN to access the property and your room. Call the hotel direct to arrange this as the trio confirmation does not include room number or PIN.

I was just disappointed of the initial checkin as I got in my room my request was never made. Very simple. I ask the 2 single beds to be combined to make it bigger. But nope. The late checkouts despite of willing to pay extra was just as it is. I could pay an extra night if I have to if they said so but no. We were from night shift of work and finished at 7 am that we got to the hotel at 7:30 and after breakfast few minutes of rest then we slept off. We got a call at 11 telling us about the checkout and told them I have already asked for the late checkout for extra charges but its only for 2 hours. Nothing more. The attendant started banging the door telling us to checkout as she needed to changed the sheets and so on and so for. We find it really rude.

As soon as we entered our room we were met with an awful smell and a damp stained carpet. We asked for another room but were told there was nothing available. A member of staff did look at the room and agreed the smell was bad but said they couldn’t give us a refund as we hadn’t booked directly through them. So it was more or less ‘take it or leave it’, there was no apology or even a food discount offered. Although the room and bed were clean the stay was not comfortable due to the smell, nobody should have been put in that room until it is sorted out. Due to the rudeness of one particular young member of staff we decided not to eat there.

I booked a hotel for a friend. I heard that the corridor was designed with nine twists and eighteen bends. After four doors, it was not easy to find the room. The rooms are ok, there are Chinese supermarkets around.

Gentleman on reception when checking in, very welcoming and good. Special request put in for special requirements. Overcharged in the sky bar, service slow, enquired about the overcharge at front desk following check-out. Took my enquiry and informed them. Went back later in the day, No small print or acknowledgement only certain drinks are in the 'happy hour' which in-turn, wasn't very happy. Dismissed with lack of respect the following afternoon.. Could be improved. Refund not accepted. Good parts, other parts not so good. [...]

Lovely Stay with Great Views Had a really relaxing stay at the Hull Humber Hotel. The location is great with beautiful views, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Only downside was no air con during a heatwave, but we still really enjoyed it. Would happily stay again!

Wonderful experience stay at that castle. We had dinner in the courtyard for a very reasonable price consider the food was of great quality. The health club had great facilities including a reasonable sized gym decent sized pool / jacuzzi. We would definitely stay there again as the location was great. The only minor complaint we would have is that the room was a bit cold but it is late January.
