Throwback to the Hussite Era: This castle isn’t just a pretty face—it's dripping with tales from the past. Built between 1423 and 1426 by Sezema of Kunštát, it rose from the ashes of a medieval stronghold destroyed just across the river. During the wild 1420s, it was THE hot spot for Hussite soldiers. Reflecting event photos taken in year 2006. The festival runs for three days (for 2025: 12–14 September) in the centre of Znojmo. · It commemorates the arrival of King John of Luxembourg (in historical reenactment) into the town in 1327. · The programme includes: · A grand parade with hundreds of people in period costumes. · Medieval markets and a military camp. · Knight tournaments and historical fencing. · Wine tasting (especially young wine / burčák) and local food. · Firesworks at night. ✅ Why it’s worth going · It combines wine culture (Znojmo is in a wine-region) with historical reenactment, so it’s more than just a food & drink event. · The setting is the charming old town of Znojmo, giving the event a very atmospheric feel. · If you like wine, food, history and a lively festival atmosphere in a smaller town (vs big city crowds), it’s a good choice. .#europe #Znojmo #czechrepublic

Did you know there's a wine you can only drink in the Czech Republic at this time of year? This time, we'll introduce you to Burčák, the baby wine. In the Czech Republic, there's a traditional autumn wine. About Burčák Burčák, also known as "baby wine," is grape juice that's still in the fermenting stage before it's made into wine. Because it's still in the fermenting stage, it's slightly effervescent, sweet, and easy to drink like juice. It's often described as having a fruity flavor similar to apple juice or grape juice. It really doesn't taste like much alcohol, and the juice-like taste makes it easy to drink a lot. However, the alcohol content is surprisingly high, around 1-7%, so be careful not to drink too much. ⚠️ (My friend drank too much and got drunk. ⚠️) 🍂It's a very seasonal drink that can only be enjoyed during the grape harvest season, which typically runs from late August to early October. ⚠️ Because this is a rapidly fermenting beverage, it may explode if stored in an airtight container. Therefore, if you purchase it in a bottle, make sure to loosen the lid to allow the gas to escape. Please be especially careful when storing it. ○Where can I drink it? It is also available at wine shops in Prague. My recommended wine shop is a little far from the city center, but it's Vinotéka Slámovka - podnikjakovino 📍Křenova 23, 162 00 Prague 6 I buy a bottle there every year. You can also drink it at harvest festivals. Here are some famous harvest festivals: 🍇Znojmo Grape Harvest Festival ・September 12-14, 2025 ・Enjoy local wine and burčák in a historic atmosphere. 🍇 Mikulov Pálava Grape Harvest Festival ・September 12–14, 2025 ・Features include tastings of local wine and burčák, as well as folklore. 🍇 St. Wenceslas Harvest Festival (Prague) ・September 27, 2025 ・Held at the St. Wenceslas Vineyard near Prague Castle. ・In addition to wine and burčák, the program also includes traditional folk arts, food, a knightly tournament, music, and dance. 🍇Troja Grape Harvest Festival (Prague) ・September 13th - 14th, 2025 🍇Karlstejn Castle Harvest Festival (Prague Suburbs) ・September 27th - 28th, 2025 🍇Glebovka Grape Harvest Festival (Prague) ・September 26th, 2025, 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM 📍Náměstí Míru ・September 27th, 2025, 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM 📍Havlíčkovy Sady 🍇Náplavka (Prague) ・September 26th - 27th, 2025 🍇Kampa Park (Prague) ・September 14th, 2025 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM For details about each event, please check the official website. #AugustTravelSupport Enoteka, a winery in Znojmo, a small town in southern Czech Republic, offered a truly special experience. Tasting local wines in a charming building, I savored the rich flavors and immersed myself in the region's culture. As I gazed out the window at the cityscape, a glass of wine in my hand, I felt as if time was passing slowly. Even if you're not a wine drinker, the atmosphere alone was captivating. #ZnojmoTravel #CzechWinery #Enoteka #WineTour #CzechTravel #EuropeanWine #TravelRecord

South Moravia, the southern wine region of the Czech Republic, is the largest wine region in the country. It is a stroll in the town and comes to the Loucky klaster comprehensive wine culture experience center, which is also a popular tourist attraction in the area. After tasting two wines, tasting wine glasses and visiting the wine museum, the collection showcases wine-making equipment, as well as the history of wine culture from ancient times to the present, and notes the Czech grape-growing region. The paintings in the museum show the Czechs' understanding and humor about the wine culture. Many people have a lot of brains. The original sense of humor of the Czechs is so interesting... Tasting in the wine tasting center The four wines, from sweet to sweet one by one, are basically white wines that girls love to drink. The last favorite drink is the expensive rot of Italian ice wine. The taste of expensive rot is really sweet and sweet... it makes people feel good for a long time.

Znojmo, a medieval town in the southern Moravian region of Czech Republic, has to go to the local museums in history. This time, two punches were made: 1. Medieval museum, you can see the ancient times of the town. The map of the position has been a traffic fortress since ancient times. The most attractive thing is the European Crusaders armor and weapons in the collection. Explain that my sister is trying to understand the feeling of the cold weapon era. We are allowed to wear helmets and armor, put on gloves and then raise the sword and cry. It is. The heroic and good warfare of the ancient people, after wearing this body, the experience is profound, the short-handed, struggling to kill is not a vain name, respect them as a man 2. Nativity Scene Museum, you can see Going back to the earliest centuries of coins, you can also create a coin of your own; from ancient times, Christmas is of a different degree, and people celebrate this holiday with a variety of Christmas items.

In the southern Czech Republic, Znojmo, a medieval town in South Moravia, is not enough to describe it in romantic terms. Completely preserved medieval buildings, winding gray stone streets, colorful houses, design-filled corners, every street detail quietly reveals the city's innate elegance, rated as the most beautiful five One of the towns has also won the reputation of "Little Prague". A small town surrounded by mountains and waters, located on the rocky hills of the Thaya River, on the Czech-Austrian border. In ancient times, due to the terrain and the rich land, in the Middle Ages it was an important town connecting the roads of Prague and Vienna. It was also a military fortress at that time. The barriers in the city have been holding positions for centuries. The brick red roof is under cloudy and night. Still glamorous and dazzling.
