Weizhou ancient city is located in Yu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. The iron city refers to the city walls being thick, tall, and as solid as iron, easy to defend but hard to attack. The rabbit city nickname comes from a legend that when the city was built, a rabbit was hunted and ran through the snow, eventually forming the shape of the city walls.
