Yangon can not miss the ring railway tour
come to Yangon, one of the most unseen experience is to take the local people's transportation - the ring railway! This is not a tourist train, but the local people's transportation in Yangon!
On this train, you can experience the local life of the local residents and feel the most authentic local customs! The
train departs 4-7 times a day. You can choose clockwise or counterclockwise. The journey takes a total of 3 hours. You can also choose one of them to experience!
The train door will not be closed. You can sit at the door like the mountain train in Sri Lanka, but be sure to pay attention to safety!
Purchase Tips: Foreigners can buy tickets at the small office of the seventh platform with their passports. The fare for the city is 300K for ordinary cars and 1000K for air-conditioned cars. If you only take a short section, there are 50K and 200K flights. Available!
On the first day of coming to Yangon, Myanmar, instead of going to the most famous Shwedagon Pagoda, I came to the train station to take a small train in Yangon, and ran to a platform and bought a ticket to get on the bus.
I don't know where the train is going. When I see which platform is good, I stop taking a few photos and then go back in the opposite direction.
seems to have found the state of casual travel a few years ago, so good.
The Yangon Ring Road Railway has been in operation for more than a hundred years. Due to lack of maintenance, the railway has been deserted. The little train just entered the station and the crowd was surrounded. Because of the high compartment, one Burmese carried the cage and the other hand grabbed the doorknob to climb the carriage. It takes 3 hours for a small train to travel around the city. You only need about 1 yuan to buy a ticket to get a trip around the city. There are a lot of people on the train, tourists who take pictures with their cameras, students who carry school bags to go to school, and Buddhist monks. The most interesting people are the traders who shuttle between the various compartments. They carry a variety of goods in the basket, and they eat, wear and use everything. The little train swayed all the way, and the people in the car chatted with the rhythm and stayed. Perhaps this is the right way to take a small train.

Sule Pagoda Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Dec)
2nd Key Pagoda in Yangon - Sule Pagoda
#createwithtrip to Yangon, beside going to Shwedagon Pagoda, one must also visit Sule Pagoda. While it is not as big and impressive as the former, Sule Pagoda is still beautiful and serene. It’s an easy site to navigate and definitely less crowded and touristic.
It is located at Junction of Sule Pagoda Road, မဟာဗန္ဓုလလမ်း, Yangon 11141, Myanmar (Burma), sort of in the middle of a “roundabout”, one has to be careful crossing the road to the main gate.
once in, take you time to walk around and explore. As no shoes are allowed, it’s good to bring along a small bag to keep your shoes with you so you don’t need to go back to the same door to exit and have a hard time to find your shoes.

Sulei Pagoda is located in the middle turntable of the old road in Yangon City. Renchuan’s endless vehicles rush through. There are stupas in the traffic carousel, and there are traffic turntables outside the pagoda. If the Shwedagon Pagoda is a landmark in Myanmar, then the Sule Pagoda is a landmark building in the old city of Yangon.
Suleibao Tower is located in the center of Yangon, next door to the city hall. Although it is not the same as the religious significance of the Shwedagon Pagoda, it has a history of more than 2,000 years. It is the religious settlement of the people in the old town of Yangon. In fact, Sulei Pagoda has a history of more than 2,000 years, which is much longer than the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon.
The stupa of Yangon has a lot to see. There are still many golden stupas that can be visited. Sureta is located in Bandura Square, and the whole city extends into its surroundings. The pagoda is named after the mud statue of the protector of the sacred mountain. The tower is octagonal, magnificent and has a Buddha relic. The British architecture, such as the City Hall, the High Court and the Independence Monument, surrounds the tower and encloses the tower. It seems to be the wall of the stupa, and it is also worth visiting.
Sulei Pagoda is a beautiful pagoda, and the golden tower shines in the city. Nowadays, the area near Sule Pagoda has also developed into a commercial activity center in Myanmar.
The stream of streets, lively markets, stations, banks, gathered here, constitute a vivid picture.

The buddhist Buddhist culture experience
KHAKHATWAIN is Myanmar's most authoritative Buddhist college and one of the three Buddhist monasteries in Myanmar. Because there are 1,200 monk students who believe in the Hindu Buddhism in this Buddhist college, they are also known as the Thousand Buddhas College.
Featured recommendation:
For many tourists, the biggest highlight here is the vegetarian lunch scene at 11am every day, thousands of monks practicing, they are neatly led by the master. The team, hanging on the edge of the shackles, followed by one, went to the atrium of the college for collectiveization, aiming to thank the local people for the meals.
The crowd of mermaid enters. There is a dragonfly hanging on the chest of the monk. Some of them are silver and some are black bakelite. Many monks still hold the pen and the pen.
When the bells of the monastery ring in the morning, the vegetarian lunch begins. The Hinayana Buddhism stipulates that only two meals a day, no lunch, but the sorghum of the Hinayana Buddhism can eat three clean meats, that is, non-self-killing, non-my killing, not killing me. Before entering the dining room, the monks began to accept the gift of the donor, and the tourists could also serve the monk. In the restaurant, the youngest monk, their table is at the end.
The dining room has five rows of dining tables, six rows on the right and five rows on the left. Each table has five people, five dishes and one soup, and one pot of tea. The eggs are six.
Myanmar Buddhism Culture Brief:
Myanmar is a country with a strong religious consciousness. Monks wearing crepe can be seen anywhere in Myanmar. There are more than 10 million monks in Myanmar, and one in 300 is a monk or a nun. Every man in Myanmar must be a monk at a certain age, and only then can the society recognize his adult. In Myanmar, the freedom of being a monk is also free. The age of Burmese is usually around 10 years old, and the time of being a monk is as short as 7 days. The time to choose to be a monk can also be months, years, or even lifelong. For the monks, the deaf can teach them to get the necessities of food, clothes, shelter, medicines, etc. in the simplest way, and let them know how to be content and to cultivate their hearts.
Visit time:
11 am to eat time
5 pm chanting time
It is completely different from the expectations. In the downtown area of Yangon, various high-rise buildings are built and the city is very modern. Only Central Station, the largest and oldest railway station in Myanmar, has an old-fashioned look. A variety of used Japanese trains, from time to time, have the illusion of being in the Shinkansen station in Japan.

Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Dec)
The Voice of Faith Lucky Light
came here during the rainy season. Fortunately, every time I take a photo, there is always a sunny day. Maybe the Buddha gave me good luck. The rhythm of Buddhism is a bit slow. I saw the murals about the story of Sakyamuni in the Jokdaji Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The little Buddhas inside are donated by the people. It is not popular here. The Buddhas prefer beautiful flowers and see the stars. Sitting down the cat, the monks and foreign friends will also come around and tease the cat. When walking barefoot in the temple, it feels really different. It seems to be more sincere and closer. The little brother of Myanmar said that the faith made us happy, and suddenly I felt that my little brother was wearing a cage.
