Once you arrive, spend some time exploring the different parts of town. ✅ Head first to Finalborgo, the medieval walled village with its narrow streets, historic churches, and lively piazzas. ✅ From there you can walk to Finalpia to see the abbey and get a quieter feel of the town. ✅ Then make your way down to the Marina district, Finale Mare, with its wide promenade and beach atmosphere. In the afternoon, continue your trip toward Noli. You can either take a bus or, if you have time and don’t mind a longer journey, walk along the coast through Varigotti. The seaside path is beautiful, with views of cliffs and bays, but it does take time, so it’s good to plan ahead. Varigotti itself is worth a short stop — colorful houses right on the sand make it one of the most charming corners of the Riviera. Once in Noli, spend a little time exploring the village. It’s one of the most beautiful in Liguria, with its medieval streets and old towers, and has a lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. A late afternoon aperitivo here is a great way to pause before heading on. From Noli, either walk or take a quick bus ride to Spotorno. Still, it’s very peaceful — hardly anyone else was on the trail when I went, and all you hear is the sound of your steps and a bit of nature around you. Reaching the fort itself is worth the effort. The view from up there opens over Finalborgo, the Marina district, and all the way out to the sea. You really get a sense of how the town is laid out between the hills and the coast. The fort itself is usually closed inside, but just standing near its walls and looking out makes the climb rewarding. It’s the perfect little detour if you’re already in Finalborgo and want to see it from a completely different perspective.

Behind the promenade, the streets are a bit more modern compared to Finalborgo or Finalpia, but they’re full of shops and places to eat, so it’s easy to spend a few hours wandering around. What stood out to me is how vibrant and social it feels. It’s not just about the sea, but also about the atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. If you want the classic Riviera seaside experience, the Marina district is where you find it.

It was a very comfortable room! The room was very clean, there was a big TV, air conditioning, the toilet and shower were separate, and the entrance had two doors so there was no noise at all. You could flush the toilet paper normally in the toilet. However, there was no changing room and no door where the bathtub was, so you might be a bit careful if you were staying with friends. lol The futon was fluffy and the receptionist was very kind, and there were two bottles of water and two vitamin drinks (500 yen) in the fridge that you could drink for free. It was less than a minute's walk from Exit 5 of the Gokjae Subway, and there was a convenience store next to the hotel, so it was easy to get around. It was a little far from Incheon Airport, but it was a room that made me want to stay there again if I had the chance👍🏻👍🏻
