📍Okinawa CAVE OKINAWA Gyokusendo is undeniably the most famous limestone cave in Okinawa. But this time, while staying at a guesthouse in Onna, we stumbled upon CAVE OKINAWA. It was originally just another stop on our itinerary, but it turned out to be a surprisingly memorable highlight. As soon as you walk into the cave, you're hit with super cool air— perfect for a stroll in the hot weather! CAVE OKINAWA isn't massive, but it's incredibly well laid out with a wooden boardwalk extending all the way through. Paired with colorful light projections, it feels absolutely magical. There are even designated photo spots along the way, which is a really nice touch. Gazing up at the intertwining stalactites truly makes you want to stop and stare a little longer. The vibe here is completely different from Gyokusendo. CAVE OKINAWA is definitely worth adding to your plans. Take an hour, slow down your pace, and just soak in the cool breeze and the natural rock walls carved by time.

Haneda Airport → Naha Airport We took a flight that arrived around 11:00 AM ✈️ ⁡ ⁡ Picked up some Pork Tamago Onigiri at Naha Airport, hopped in our rental car, and headed north right away 🚗 ⁡ ⁡ 12:30 PM: Blue Pottery Specialty Shop - Uruma Touki A beautiful blue pottery shop featuring the stunning "Uruma Blue." I bought a bud vase here. ⁡ ⁡ 1:30 PM: Nuchimasu Sightseeing Salt Factory The only salt factory of its kind in the world. You can take a factory tour for free! I highly recommend trying the salt soft-serve ice cream after the tour 🍦 You'll also find Kafu Banta cliff and spiritual power spots nearby 😊 ⁡ ⁡ 4:00 PM: Checked in at Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort We stayed in a Deluxe Room for two nights! ⁡ ⁡ 6. 00 PM: Exploring the Hotel The hotel has direct access to the beach, so we took a stroll and watched the sunset. ⁡ ⁡ 7. 30 PM: Dinner Ate at the hotel's restaurant, "Amahaji." Beyond the factory tour, the view of the dramatic cliffs and the expansive blue ocean right in front of you is nothing short of majestic. The grounds are home to spiritual power spots like: 🩵 "Kafu Banta" 🩵 Ryujin Fudo If you love jaw-dropping scenery, this is a must-visit place. 🏺 Tsuboya Yachimun Street The heart of Okinawa’s traditional "Yachimun" (pottery) craft. Walking around looking for the perfect ceramic piece was a really special way to connect with Okinawan culture. 🌴 American Village A massive hotspot that feels exactly like an overseas resort. It’s packed with things to do, featuring colorful buildings, a Ferris wheel, great shopping, and diverse eats. The sunsets in the evening are gorgeous, and the vibrant, illuminated streets at night feel purely magical. I find myself wanting to drop by here every time I visit Okinawa. 🍜 Kokusai Dori (International Street) The absolute staple of Okinawa sightseeing. It's a no-brainer for souvenir shopping, but it’s also the place to be if you want to fully enjoy Okinawan cuisine. My personal favorite is Okinawa Soba. The comforting broth made from pork bone and bonito stock paired with chewy noodles is simply exquisite.
