Ube travel guide and discussion

The reason why I took a plane instead of the Shinkansen when I traveled to Yamaguchi was because I wanted to go to Ube Airport ✈️ Currently, a pop-up shop for the "Machiju Evangelion 4th Edition" event being held in Ube City has been set up in the domestic arrivals lobby on the first floor It has a wide range of products, including Machi Eva collaboration goods, books, stationery, and apparel. The 4th limited edition Evangelion goods were very valuable because they could only be purchased here 🥰 This event will be held for a limited time until January 19, 2025 However, last year, there were decorations everywhere, character figures and Unit 01 were installed, but this year, it was a little disappointing that there was only this pop-up shop A few minutes walk away is Kusae Station on the Ube Line, which is a local line, and there are no slopes, so it is easy to get around and the convenience is quite good #YamaguchiTrip #YamaguchiTourism #UbeCity #UbeShinkawaStation #Evangelion #DomesticTravelRecordLine

I was traveling by car, so I was looking for a hotel with a parking lot, and I found a hotel that caught my eye 👀 I stayed at a container hotel 😆👏🏻 This time I stayed at HOTEL R9 The Yard Ube in Showa-cho, Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture THE container! It has wheels and a license plate, so it's a hotel that can be moved in the event of a disaster 😲 It's simple and stylish, and you input it by touch instead of using a card key. It's a unit bath, but it doesn't feel small, and there was a large mirror, a TV, a microwave, and a refrigerator with a freezer at the entrance. Basic amenities such as toothbrushes and room wear are available at the front desk. Coffee and tea were also available 🙆🏻‍♀️ You can get pasta or fried rice, which are frozen foods 😋 There are also vending machines and coin laundry, so it's convenient. And the mattress on the bed is made by Simmons 😆✨✨ It was extremely comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and it's a hotel I'd definitely like to use again☺️♩ It has locations nationwide, but I think it's more geared towards car travelers. I think most people travel by rental car, so you can stay without having to worry about parking! I stayed in Ube, which is a bit of a walk away, but there was a commercial facility with a movie theater, so I was able to get meals and snacks at the hotel. #tripmemory2022 #YamaguchiPrefecture #UbeCity #ContainerHotel #AccommodationReport #CarTrip

In Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, there is an exhibition of Evangelion Unit-01 and panels as part of "Yamaguchi Ube Airport x EVANGELION." If you are near Ube Airport, please come and see the Unit-01 and the lights in Evangelion colors. By the way, Ube City is the hometown of Hideaki Anno, the creator of Evangelion. #Evangelion #Yamaguchi Prefecture #Ube City #Ube Airport

💞Reasons to Recommend:

#Spring0yentrip Tokiwa Park is packed with various elements in a spacious area, and even just walking around was fun. The first thing that caught my eye was the large pond, where swans and ducks were swimming leisurely, and I lost track of time while sitting on a bench and watching them. There was also a zoo and an amusement park in the park, and I was surprised that they were more well-equipped than I had imagined. There were many children there, but watching animals is still fun for adults too. There were sculptures scattered around and a small art museum, so it felt like nature and culture coexisted in a good balance. It seems that cherry blossoms bloom in spring, and I would like to come back in that season as well. It was a place that felt warm and spacious, like a place of relaxation for the whole town, rather than a city park.

When I went on a trip to Yamaguchi in the past, I stayed at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ube and ate at the Japanese restaurant "Unkai" inside the hotel, but the hotel closed at the end of last year. I really liked the food there, so I was sad to hear that it had closed, but when I heard that the head chef there for 21 years had gone independent, I was so happy that I went there right away 🥰 The restaurant has a calm Japanese atmosphere ✨ You can eat carefully prepared dishes using seasonal ingredients ♡ ────────────── 🥢 Colorful lunch... 3,500 yen (9 kinds of seasonal dishes/tempura/full meal/dessert/coffee) ────────────── ・Turnip simmered ・Octopus simmered in cherry blossom sauce ・Flounder saikyo-yaki ・Sardine nanban-zuke ・Sashimi ・Shiraae ・Haruna ohitashi ・Miyazaki beef ichiboro roast ・Lotus root buns with sweet bean paste I was able to try a little bit of everything, and I really love this kind of thing❣️ The tempura was also crispy♡ For food, I had temari sushi (sea bream/salmon/kou) On this day, Squid) The round shape is cute, and it's easy to eat🍣 For dessert, we had "Sweet Potato Brulee" It was moist like sweet potato, and had strawberries inside The dessert was also high quality🍠 The owner, who has been working exclusively in Japanese cuisine, makes elaborate dishes with all his heart, and they were all delicious, and the service was also pleasant🥰 Japanese Cuisine Hanto 📍7-28 Unoshima-cho, Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture ⏰Lunch 11:30-14:00 ▫️Dinner 17:30-20:30 (Closed) Wednesday 🅿️Available #YamaguchiTrip #YamaguchiTourism #ShimonosekiTrip #ShimonosekiTourism #YamaguchiGourmet #YamaguchiLunch #UbeGourmet #UbeLunch #Spring0YenTourism

#0yentravelFebruary2025 #Yamaguchi #Domestictravel Lounge Kirara at Yamaguchi Ube Airport is a card lounge located on the third floor of the domestic terminal building☕️ Opening hours are 6:40-20:00, and Gold Card members and above can use the lounge for free for 2 hours. General use is 1,100 yen/2 hours. Although the lounge is compact with only 44 seats, you can enjoy soft drinks, local juices, Wi-Fi, and newspapers and magazines🥰 However, you cannot expect luxury or spaciousness, and it can feel cramped when crowded💦 The original "Yuzu 5" drink is well-received, and its appeal is that it gives off a local vibe❕ It is clean and comfortable, but don't expect a luxurious feel😇

The purpose of this trip to Yamaguchi I heard that various restaurants in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, the hometown of my favorite Evangelion director, are doing collaboration menus As a fan, I absolutely have to go!! I planned a trip with them☺️ ☑︎Fruit lemonade 3 types...864 yen Unit 01/purple jelly Asuka/red jelly Rei/light blue jelly All the flavors were similar, but there were lots of seasonal fruits, such as blueberries from Ube, and they were not only photogenic, but also delicious♡ I arrived right before the last order, but the staff were very kind and didn't show any irritation🥰 "Owariya Cafe" 📍1F, 2-7-2 Nishi-Ube Minami, Ube City ☎️ 0836-55-5010 🕕Menu available 11:00-15:30 (Closed)Irregular holidays 🅿️Available #YamaguchiTrip #YamaguchiTourism #UbeTourism #YamaguchiGourmet #YamaguchiLunch #YamaguchiCafe #UbeGourmet #UbeLunch #UbeCafe #0yenTripJanuary2025

The purpose of this trip to Yamaguchi I heard that various restaurants in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, the hometown of my favorite Evangelion director, are doing collaboration menus As a fan, I absolutely have to go!! I planned a trip with them☺️ I went to the okonomiyaki restaurant "Naniwa" to try their collaboration okonomiyaki😋 ☑︎Katsura-yaki (red)... 1,995 yen The shop's original dough, with a strong flavor of Rausu kelp dashi For the Katsura-yaki (red), the staff put a big layer of Neapolitan on top of the okonomiyaki I cooked myself It also came with a side of Apostle cheese It felt like the Apostles were watching me, and it was so funny lol The dough was fluffy and incredibly delicious♡ The Neapolitan was sweet, and it was a taste that kids would love🥰 Neapolitan and okonomiyaki are a strange combination, but they go really well together♪ This restaurant came with a salad and dessert, and I chose the dessert, but it was a beautiful color and delicious♡ The inside of the restaurant had a nostalgic atmosphere and was full of Eva vibes It was irresistible for fans🎶 "Okonomiyaki" "What is this?" 📍7-20 Hamamachi 2-chome, Ube City 🕕Menu available 11:00-20:00 (Closed) Mondays (open on public holidays, closed the following Tuesday) 🅿️Available #YamaguchiTrip #YamaguchiTourism #UbeTourism #YamaguchiGourmet #YamaguchiLunch #UbeGourmet #UbeLunch #0YenTripJanuary2025

It's a neighborhood with a lot of golf travelers. So there used to be a direct flight between Korea and Ube. That was before the COVID-19 pandemic. I heard that the local government is negotiating with the airline to get it back, but there's been no news yet. I hope it gets back soon. #2025OverseasTravelEvent

When I went on a trip to Yamaguchi, I went to a restaurant I had seen on TV before❣️ This restaurant is famous for its “large serving” fried chicken menu🐓 It seems that many TV guests and YouTubers visit this restaurant, including those who have appeared on Detective Night Scoop and Nani Kore Jin Hyakkei. Since I was there, I tried the best “Chomolungma Set Meal”☺️💕 ▶︎Chomolungma Set Meal [58 pieces]…¥3,500 The flavor is soy sauce base It was very tasty♡ ◇Curry mayo ◇Curry sansho ◇Yuzu pepper ◇Salt and pepper You can change the flavor to your liking🙆♀️ Chomolungma is a hot topic as a "challenge menu", and many famous big eaters, including MoeAzu-chan, have taken on the challenge❣️ ・58 pieces of fried chicken ・5 bowls of large rice ・3 bowls of miso soup If you finish it in 12 minutes it's free‼ ️ I couldn't do it 😅 The staff were very friendly and it was a homey place ☺️ Ippei-do 📍 2-11-28 Ino-cho, Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture ☎️ 0836-31-2738 🈺 11:00~14:00/17:00~20:30 Closed: Irregularly 🅿️ Available #YamaguchiTrip #YamaguchiTourism #YamaguchiGourmet #YamaguchiLunch #UbeGourmet #FritabiWinter

When I went on a trip to Yamaguchi, I landed at Ube Airport by plane and found this shop on the way to the hotel by taxi. Established in Showa 32 (1957), it is said to be a shop that has inherited the taste of grandma✨ You can enjoy heartfelt home-cooked meals, with 'omusubi' (rice balls) made from shiny rice cooked with pure white steam as the main dish. They are very particular about the ingredients and flavors, and the rice is always in the best condition by changing the blend according to the season. ────────────── 🥢 Fried Young Chicken Omusubi Set…1,000 yen ☑︎ Comes with red miso soup and a small side dish ────────────── It was an instant decision to choose the most popular menu item. There are 19 different types of omusubi fillings, ranging from the standard to the unique❣️ I was able to choose two omusubi with my favorite fillings🍙 The hot and fluffy omusubi gets more delicious with every bite♡ The fluffy texture that crumbles the moment you eat it is said to be the result of 20 years of perfecting the right pressure😳 The crispy fried chicken paired perfectly, it was absolutely amazing🥹✨ With a counter, it's easy to enter even alone, and the food and atmosphere are heartwarming. Even on weekdays, it was full of customers❣️ ────────────── Omusubi Ochazuke Kometen 📍 2-5-23 Tokonami, Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture ⏰ Mon-Fri 11:00~14:00 (L.O. 13:30) ▫️ Sat 11:00~14:00 / 17:00~21:30 (L.O. 21:00) (Closed) Sundays/Holidays 🅿️ 8 spaces next to the shop, 3 spaces behind Tokonami Post Office #YamaguchiTrip #YamaguchiSightseeing #UbeSightseeing #UbeGourmet #UbeLunch #FreeTravelWinter
