If you don't feel like experimenting, this is a great option. The selection is huge: there are classic flavors, an American line, and many completely unusual Okinawan flavors, such as purple sweet potato, black sugar, shikuwasa, Okinawa Pineapple Coconut, and others. When traveling to Okinawa, many people will definitely want to try Okinawa's signature dish – Taco Rice! Today, we're introducing "Kijimunaa". This is a very popular taco rice specialty shop in Okinawa. The most famous signature dish is… "Omega Taco Rice" 🥚✨ The fluffy and smooth omega, paired with classic Okinawan taco rice, is truly delicious! Besides Kokusai Street, there are also branches on Senaga Island and in Chatan American Village, and it has always been a favorite among tourists. Today, we're introducing the Kokusai Street Sakurazaka branch, about a 5-minute walk from Kokusai Street, making it very convenient to stop by while sightseeing. This shop has three floors, plenty of seating, and a comfortable environment. Because it's only been open for about a year, the shop is very clean and bright. Ordering is also very convenient! Order using your own phone by scanning a QR code, and there's a Traditional Chinese interface, so even first-time visitors to Japan don't need to worry 😊 This time, we ordered 🥚 Om Taco Rice (Om Taco) 🥤 and a Coke set meal. If you're just exploring Naha, I actually don't highly recommend renting a car. By taking the monorail straight from the airport, you can easily visit Kokusai Dori, Makishi Public Market, and Shuri Castle. Pair that with local buses, and you can even head to Senagajima Island and PARCO CITY. Without the stress of finding parking, getting used to right-hand driving, or constantly worrying about GPS navigation and traffic jams, your trip will be so much more relaxing. ⠀⠀ I personally love this slower pace of travel. You can shop when you want to, stop for food whenever you feel like it, and never have to rush your itinerary just because of driving. What I liked most about DMM Kariyushi Aquarium was how different it felt from a traditional aquarium. The combination of lighting, displays, and close-up animal encounters made the experience feel much more immersive. However, since it's such a popular tourist destination, there are actually very convenient bus routes to all the famous attractions. There are even many one-day passes available. If it's your first time visiting Okinawa, you can just buy the Okinawa Fun Pass. Why do I recommend this pass? Because 90% of the included attractions are accessible by public transport, with convenient and frequent schedules. Plus, using this pass can significantly cut down on ticket costs, so I highly recommend it. Day 1: After arriving at the airport, take the monorail to your downtown hotel, and explore Kokusai Dori in the evening. Note: If your flight arrives in the afternoon, you can choose to stay in American Village to make the next day's trip to Churaumi Aquarium easier. Of course, since you aren't driving, I recommend staying at a hotel near Kokusai Dori for the entire trip. This is the most convenient option, as you won't have to lug your bags around, and catching buses is a breeze. Day 2: Churaumi Aquarium + Cape Manzamo. You can use the Okinawa Fun Pass for all of this. Tickets are included, and the bus route is very straightforward, saving you from unnecessary detours. Day 3: Nago Pineapple Park + American Village. In the morning, take a bus to the Pineapple Park for a half-day visit, then catch another bus to experience American Village at night. It's absolutely stunning, which is why it draws such a crowd.
