Vincent van Gogh Immersive Experience
An immersive Van Gogh experience typically involves transforming a large space, such as a warehouse or exhibition hall, into a dynamic and multimedia environment.
High-definition projections of Van Gogh's famous paintings are displayed on walls, floors, and other surfaces, often accompanied by music and sound effects that complement the visuals. Visitors can walk through the space, feeling as though they are stepping into the paintings and experiencing the artwork from a whole new perspective.

For the techies
If you are someone who loves all things to do with technology and gadgets, you definitely have to stop by Sim Lim shopping centre at Rochor when you visit Singapore. Although not as glamorous as the other shopping centres, this place is packed full of vendors specializing in computers, cameras, parts and accessories.
In addition, there is also a chance you can haggle for a lower price if you buy more. They usually have ongoing sales that offer greater discounts as well!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lifestyle shopping mall
As a newly renovated mall, Funan has become a nice and trendy hangout place. It has a variety of shops, including the usual retail and F&B shops as well as more unique ones such as a rock climbing wall inside the mall itself and a full capacity theatre too. I especially like the specialty Hong Kong noodle shop located at the basement, that’s a must-try!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Growing with technology In Singapore
National Museum Of Singapore has several exhibition on showcase. One pop up showcase which is also very popular with parents and kids is the showcase of technology changes in our lives.
Many of us who are born in 1970s-1990s finds this showcase a very memorable one. It shows where how life was simple when it comes to the barber, or using the uncoloured computer, phone and tvs. The very simple yet popular commercial on TV screens with its familiar soundtracks. Also the showcase also exhibits what Singapore used to have but its now not seen anymore. Like the spinning dail up payphone, or the kind of cosy coffeehouse, the kind of houses where our grandparents used to stay in, or even the kind of cameras we use to have and how it was traditional developed.
This exhibits allows our kids born in the recent generation to understand how simple life was before technology came in. A very much historic cultural learning experience.

Petrosains
Petrosains means Petronas (Malaysia’s fully integrated oil and gas company) and Sains (Malay word for Science). It’s a science and technology museum located in the heart of the city within KLCC. As a Malaysian, I’m proud to reveal that I haven’t once visit this place before this 😂 but I’m glad I’ve done it with my kids.
I am impressed with the contents. Different sections with much interacting tools on display. We started with makers studio where lots of creativity, creating and building take place here; then the oil platform explaining and illustrates the whole oil and gas exploration before moving to speed with different exhibits on testing each velocity, including your throwing speeds; tech lab shows some robots and controls; space lab has information on astronauts life, the living and work space, machines for space and the anti g-force try out. The Geotime Diorama is impressive, realistic and kids discovered earth science with fossils and realistic looking dinosaurs.
There’s no reservations allowed, first come first served. If purchasing through online travel agent such as klook, be sure to book your slot 1 day in advance.

Chongqing Science and Technology museum
Getting There - The closest subway station is Grand Theater. From there, 2-3mins walk.
Attractions - The museum has 4 floors. There were many different exhibitions such as ocean world, national defense, natural catastrophe, and much more.
Most exhibitions had both Chinese and English!
There’s also a 4D movie theatre. I watched a 15mins cartoon movie for 20¥. It’s quite fun!
On top of that, you can also enjoy some simulators. It wasn’t too busy when I went so I waited between 10-15mins.
I especially liked the natural disaster one.
Food & Restaurants - There’s a restaurant on the first floor. The price is also very fair. I had pork dumplings, rice, eggs and tomatoes for 24¥.
Shopping - There is a souvenir shop on the 2nd floor next to the 4D cinema.
I was there for over 4 hours (including a quick lunch break) so I’d recommend you give yourself at least 3 hours so you don’t feel rush.
Also, it was free!!

Songjiang quest: Shop & Tech
During my week in Songjiang, had the pleasure to visit Wanda Plaza branch. This shopping 🛍 mall complex is located in Gold Street, and gives you a fancy and high tech look you might be missing in your summer.
Day or night, Wanda Plaza is a must visit location in Songjiang. Probably, the biggest shopping center in the area. So many fancy clothing stores, jewelry, children areas to play and have fun as family. Most restaurants are located in third floor, and you have so many great options to chose from Korean, Thai and food from different areas of China.
The big screens in the roof are captivating, the cars expo in F1 and even some area where young people just show their skills in urban dance. There are some amusement games or stands either inside or outside Wanda Plaza, depends of the day you can see it at it’s best expression.
I can assure you, not a place where you can get bored.

The future is now, skyline light shows
Shenzhen is one of the youngest mega cities in the world, growing from a small fishing village to a sprawling metropolis of 20 million people in under 40 years. The city is the tech capital of China and has seen huge economic success which is reflected in it’s incredible skyline, rows of super tall buildings line the downtown area of Futian and create an impressive skyline. If that wasn’t impressive enough the skyscrapers all have lights running from top to bottom and illuminate in different colors depending on the time and season.
But if you time it right you might be able to catch one of the cities infamous light shows, a coordinated and synchronized light show is held across all the skyscrapers in Futian and it really is a sight to see. They happen every Friday and Saturday at 19:30, 20:30 & 21:30 and they really are unforgettable. There are plenty of places to watch it in downtown and it’s great to wander around the streets to see it up close.
If you want a more elevated view you can access a park on the roof of the Wongtee mall or central walk mall, look for the lifts either side of the malls and head to the top floor. Or if you are feeling brave you can head to the top of the lianhacun mountain park and watch from there, it has the best view but it gets very very crowded!
Definitely worth planning for if you are in Shenzhen, I’ve never seen anything like it!

Experiencing Driverless bus in Pingshan
How? How will it run without a driver?
That's basically our question. 🤔
According to the information I gathered, this "driverless program" was developed and launched by QCraft, a self-driving technology company.
Wherein this 9 seater, 5.9meters long bus operates by itself automatically. It can monitor the surrounding situation with a 200 meter radius.
These buses are designed to travel only at 20-50kilometers per hour.
Some of the stuffs these driverless buses can do;
It can avoid pedestrians and vehicles, it can change lanes, it can make turns and recognize traffic lights.
The "driver", (which is not really the driver instead a supervisor) is present infront the driver's seat to monitor the safeguard of the operation.
So try to hop on the driverless bus and experience the magic of technology. 👍
Visit Pingshan. ❤️
