Zhangjiajie
Zhanjiajie is one of those places that have been on my mind since I arrived in China. In the beginning, I had never related that this place had seemed in a movie that its mountains had been inspiration to create another world.
This year after the pandemic we had to organize new trips since traveling outside of China is not possible. So we decided to start traveling in China, in the end this was our only option to get out of the city. This place, as you see it in the photos, is a magical place and at times hard to believe what exists.

Yangshuo China
My favourite place in China so far! Have you ever been to Yangshuo? China has a lot to offer, there is still so much more to explore in this country 🇨🇳
When we first arrived to Yangshuo didn’t expect to see this beautiful landscape everywhere. We thought a very small area would be plenty of mountains like this in the picture. But this landscape is the most iconic thing in Yangshuo.
We couldn’t stop taking pictures and appreciating this beautiful landscape.
I was so impressed since I have never seen a place like this before in my life.
Definitely China is having an amazing landscapes to explore 💓

Jiading Shanghai
I have never seen a place where autumn lasted so long!
Shanghai is plenty of parks and they always look so well maintained, during autumn/winter it is usual to see all this colourful trees!
We took this pictures at Jiading (嘉定区) a very nice town close to Shanghai. It is a nice option to escape from the busy city. We went there on a Sunday afternoon and needed more time to explore this town. Take metro line 11 and stop in North Jiading, the journey takes around 1.5 hours.
Be prepared to take a lot of pictures and enjoy the chinese architecture.

Jaipur India
Besides the Taj Mahal my second place in the list was Jaipur. You can see a lot of pictures from this place in the magazines, social media, etc. It is one of the most important places to visit in India when you travel there for the first time.
I was always attracted to its beautiful architecture and special colour palette.
Everywhere you the blush pink colour is there and I couldn’t love it more since this is one of my favourite colours 😍
We also had a tour guide, this way we could learn more about the city and discover some hidden places that makes Jaipur so interesting.
My travel tip for this place is to make a morning walk in the city, before the tourist wake up so you can see how the people living there start their normal routine. The hotel Samode Haveli is offering an amazing morning walk that will make your trip more special 💓

Bangkok
Thailand is one of the countries I love the most. I’m
never tired of coming back and visit the same temples. There is something so beautiful about this country, the food, it’s friendly people, nice beaches, beautiful temples and the list continues.
For me it is one of the countries in Asia where they are very well used to tourism, so as a traveler you can have a good experience when a destination knows how to treat you. I didn’t have a lot of bad experiences at all but I think Thailand always makes me feel so comfortable and welcoming. Except the tourist visa application, that’s always a nightmare 😂 but that’s something I’m willing to deal for some tom yum soup!

Maldives
Maldives a travel dream!
Have you considered 10 days on an island, is that your travel dream?
At the beginning we were not sure how long to stay, should we switch to another island or stay in the same place for so many days?
I have heard many different recommendations, at the end we decided to stay in one place and we were not disappointed at all.
If you want to have the same plan like us, I recommend you to do a research about the hotel you want to stay. Food, location, activities, room, etc., all this details can make you stay so special and make the most out of it.

Thean Hou Temple
If red is your favourite colour then you need to visit this place!
Thean Hou Temple is one of the oldest Chinese temple in Southeast Asia. When we first arrived I didn’t know what to expect. We went there before lunch time and we thought that it would be crowded but not at all! It was really empty and we were the only tourist there.
I was thinking this place would be crowded because it is so beautiful and photogenic but for whatever reason it was so quiet there.
A lot of people go here to pray so you need to be respectful and don’t disturb them. Always follow the rules when visiting temples and dress appropriately, a lot of this places have some signs telling what to wear and what you shouldn’t do but some of them don’t. Do your own research before visiting a temple and try to appreciate as much as you can 💓

Yu Garden Shanghai
It has been 3 years since we moved to China. We took these photos in March 2018 July 2020 and I still feel like we just arrived 😄
Who would think that I would like so much to live here, now I already feel that Shanghai is my home ❤️
This were the first pictures we took when we arrived here. Yu garden is definitely one of the most touristic and interesting places in Shanghai. You can enjoy a beautiful chinese architecture and it is the only classic Chinese garden in the downtown area. This places was once a private garden for the Mint dynasty officials.
So imagine how much history this place have 💓
Travel tip, visit this place as early as you can! I have never seen a lot of people congregated in one place 😅

Areca Palm Hut
it was a pleasant, relaxing and rejuvenating stay...our family from senior to juniors enjoyed it. Heads up, One night is not enough.
We enjoyed the place very much it was truly so serene and beautiful to be in nature. Even though there’s kitchen we opt to order food from them and we were not disappointed.
If you need time and space away from the hustle and bustle of of the city this is the place! It’s relaxing to hear the the water stream when we sleep and the sound of nature. It was like that feeling when you go to a spa where they play the sound of birds, insects, water except this is the real deal.

The best waterfalls!
When you think of Zamboanga City, you think of colorful vintas, Fort Pilar, Santa Cruz Islands and Hermosa Festival, but very rare would think of waterfalls. Unknown to many, there lies one of Mindanao’s most beautiful waterfalls – Merloquet Falls!
Located in Barangay Sibulao, Merloquet Falls stands proud near the city’s boundary with Zamboanga Sibugay, approximately two hours away from downtown Zamboanga City. It is a two-tiered drop but its main attraction is the beautiful curtain waterfalls on its base, approximately 10-meter high and 15-meter wide stair-like wall to a shallow pool, definitely one-of-a-kind in the Philippines. The upper tier is a shorter drop and sloped diagonally, approximately 5-meter high and 10-meter wide.
Merloquet Falls may fall short on grandeur compared with other waterfalls in Mindanao but its uniqueness is a charmer. There are a lot of enchanting falls in Mindanao though. Despite its exposure in the past years, this spot is still in its raw state, and less crowded and busy compared with other known waterfalls in the country.
You will not regret coming, the view itself is going to payoff the cost. The experience is a big plus!

Beach in the North
1.1) BOOK A HOTEL IN ADVANCE (1 month) and GET A CHEAPER PRICE - this for me, is not recommendable as border controls, local government policies of your origin and destination and hotel policies changes from time to time depending on the number of Covid cases in the area. Make sure to take screenshot of the booking.
(1.2) BOOK A HOTEL 1 WEEK OR DAYS BEFORE THE TRAVEL DATE - this is what we did since there was a storm and i was skeptical if i will push through thr trip or not kay checkpoint in Bogo was suuuuper strict. (intense) According to my research, gi tangtang na ang checkpoint
After booking a hotel,
(2.) CONTACT THE HOTEL - don't wait for them to contact you. If possible, book directly to their website NOT on Booking Apps.
Example:
We booked Kota Beach - we exchanged Emails and normally they will ask for payment first to secure your booking. Since I was skeptical, I didn't pay and asked if we could pay cash once we check in, they refused. Two days before the travel date, they emailed me back said they will reserve a room for us and i could pay when i get there.
They will ask for
(3.)VALID IDS, we gave passport (Brgy. Bantayan, USA) Visa nalang kuwang. 😂
You will SEND a picture of YOUR GOVERNMENT IDs to them and they will be the one who will contact Sta. Fe Tourism. After one day, they will send the
(4.)QR CODE.
This QR CODE IS YOUR A MUST UPON ENTERING STA FE. No QR CODE, labay kas dagat. 😂😂 Again, it's the hotel who will process this and send it before the travel date. Should you wish to transfer hotels like we did, you should do all these twice.
PS. Make sure to book the accredited hotel/resorts. Not all establishments have the permit to operate.
You are also required to bring GOVERNMENT IDs. But now, you have to BRING COMPANY ID AND COE. If you have travel pass, quarantine pass, judt bring them too (for border checkpoints purposes)
(5.) FACE MASK AND FACE SHIELD

Thailand City of Angels
Bangkok or Krung Thep, “City of Angels“, is like our home away from home. We simply love this vibrant and urban big city with all its life, delicious street food, green and lush parks, a network of rivers, amazing shopping, some of the biggest markets in the world, and of course, its friendly people.
We have visited Bangkok many times, often staying for months before reluctantly leaving, and each time we come back we fall deeper and deeper in love with this amazing city!
It is one of my bucketlist! i cant wait to be there again!

Phi phi Island in Thailand
Not too far from the main island of Phuket, there lies a group of islands known collectively known as the “Ko Phi Phi” after a mix between Malay and Thai language, meaning “Phi Phi Islands.”
Krabi, phi phi Island , bamboo island, some points allowed to jump for swimming ....pilehbay and loh samah bay .. .
On some island you can see clean white sand.... Just awesome
While these limestones in mention were nothing more than just pieces of aesthetics by the sea, the major islands, Don and Lee, are places people can visit for a perfect getaway on an island. And if you like to go to city, it's one ride away.

This low-key resort offers a scenic view of the surrounding bay. Not only it feels like you're in paradise, it also feel like you are day dreaming. They are known for their Jacuzzi rooms with an impeccable view of jade-colored lagoons hemmed in by lush jungle-clad hills. Day trippers are welcome here, entrance fee is only Php 20 per head.
You can travel by air, by land (Philtranco Bus), or by sea from Manila directly to Surigao City. At the airport or at the bus terminal, you can either ride a tricycle or multi cab to the City's Pantalan Uno (Port / Pier 1) where you will take another two-hour boat ride to Bucas Grande Island.
It is a dream come true to be able to come to places like these.

Seoul Korea
Having spent three years living in Asia and visiting all kinds of cities across the region, Seoul remains one of my favorites. Three days is a great amount of time to see the city and this Seoul itinerary will help you make the most out of every minute!
Day 1 in Seoul – Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong
Day 2 in Seoul – Inwangsan Peak, Gwangjang Market, Myeongdong N-Seoul Tower
Day 3 in Seoul – Changdeokgung. Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Gangnam, Common Ground
Seoul is a huge city, but much of what you’ll want to see is within a smaller area of the center. This Seoul itinerary encourages quite a bit of walking. Not only is this often the easiest way to get around, but there are so many picturesque streets in between sights that you won’t want to miss out on.
Thankfully, for those times you do need public transport, Seoul’s public transport systems are fantastic.

Chasing Waterfalls
One of the most popular waterfall of the Province of Cebu is Mantayupan Falls. This comes as no surprise with its grandeur and accessibility that it has become a go-to place of locals and tourists specially during weekends. Due to its prominence, it is one of the first waterfalls in the province to be developed as a tourist spot. Development includes an access road to the site and building of facilities inside such as eateries, stores and cottages.
Locally known as Ambakan, Mantayupan Falls is a two-tier cascade in Barangay Campangga in the western town of Barili, just a short motorcycle ride from the town proper.
The first level, a 14-meter high cascade that flows into its circular natural pool, greets everyone as it is conveniently located near the entrance. A newly built hanging bridge connects it to the second level, a towering 98 meters cascade regarded as the highest in the entire province. It flows to into a deep natural tub before flowing to Mantayupan River. #urbanexplorer #maydaytrip

Windmill in the North
The Bangui Wind Farm is located all the way at the northwestern tip of Philippines' Luzon Island, in the Province of Ilocos Norte. The windmills form a gracefully shaped arc that reflect the shoreline alongside Bangui Bay, and face the West Philippine Sea.
Due to Ilocos' location between the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea, the province tends to have more wind than most others in the Philippines. This makes for just a great place for one of Southeast Asian's biggest wind farms. In fact it was the biggest until the Burgos Wind Farm took the title in the year 2014.
The scenic strip of windmills that's called the Bangui Wind Farm is a great stop on one of your day trips through Ilocos Norte. If you bring a drone for some even more stunning footage; try to find a place more inlands since the drone will have a hard time finding signal between the ‘large metal objects'. The beach is fine and clean but doesn't make for a good place to swim. I hope you'll make some great photos though and have a great time chilling around at the site.
If you're traveling by bus you can take the ‘Laoag to Cagayan' bus route for instance towards. When you're approaching Burgos you can look for a specific sign on the left side of the road that will lead to the strip. It's better though to just inform the driver or conductor where you're going because they will be always very helpful and happy to assist you. On top of that the blades are already visible from the highway so it will not be hard to find the wind farm.

Rice Terraces
Banaue: Hapao rice terraces
Hapao is a village about an hour’s hike from Banaue. While most of the guides mention Batad as the rice terraces, I think Hapao’s terraces are actually the most beautiful.
The hike starts a short car ride from Banaue and goes through the flooded terraces, leading to a hot water spring in which you can bathe. The view of the water in the rice fields reflecting the sky is spectacular, and the spring is a great resting point after the walk.
Caution about organized tours: From Banaue, you can get a guide and organize a customized tour to the surrounding area. The tours can basically take you wherever you'd like to go and for as long as you want. It’s very easy to organize, as there are lots of tour guides everywhere – from certified guides to a random person with a van.
One thing to know is that for most hikes in the area you don’t really need a guide. In most cases you can get along perfectly fine by just asking the locals where to walk. If you feel confident enough, I’d recommend getting a map and trekking independently.

Rice Terraces in Banaue
Banaue, Ifugao – The world-renowned Banaue Rice Terraces is dubbed as The Eight Wonder of the World. Because it appeared on the old twenty peso bill, most people believe that Banaue Rice Terraces is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Batad, Hungduan, Mayoyao Central, Nagacadan and Bangaan (Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras). Banaue Rice Terraces is not included in the UNESCO list but it is a National Cultural Treasure.
When thinking of traveling the Philippines, the first things you’ll find while researching are amazing beaches, blue lagoons and wide eyed miniature monkeys, called tarsiers.
When my wife and I were looking for a place to chill out on our honeymoon, that’s exactly what we found. However, being a backpacker by nature, I also looked for something off the beaten path. That’s how I found a place that locals refer to as “The 8th World Wonder” – the Banaue rice terraces.
Banaue is in Luzon Island in the north of the Philippines, in an area called Ifugao. It has one of the most amazing mountain views you’ll ever see. These mountains are the home of 2,000-year-old rice terraces, and is, in my opinion, a place you shouldn’t miss if you visit the Philippines.
The area has several villages that have become tourist attractions. Banaue is the region's biggest town and the gateway to all other places, while Batad, Sagada, Hapao and Cambulo are a few of the villages in the area. If you enjoy trekking, it's possible to walk for a few days between these villages. (Ask locals for recommended routes.)

Mt. Kanlaon in NegOr
Mount Talinis, also known as the Cuernos de Negros, is a complex volcano in the Philippine province of Negros Oriental. At about 1,903 metres above sea level, it is the second highest mountain on Negros Island after Mount Kanlaon.
A longtime favorite Visayan destination of mountaineers is Mt. Talinis in Southern Negros, otherwise known as “Cuernos de Negros” for the horn-like peaks that highlight the mountain. It holds its position as the second highest mountain in Negros, next only to the lofty Kanlaon.
It is not surprising that Talinis is the only mountain other than Mt. Apo to have become twice the venue of the annual MFPI Federation climbs, among other activities. Its only impediment is the perennial rumor of NPA presence, but as of 2009, it is perfectly safe to climb Talinis.
There are several trails but the most typical, and comprehensive enough, route is a traverse from the Bediao trail in Dauin, Negros Oriental, to Apolong. The roster of places to see is formidable: first is Lake Yagumyum with the optional ascent to Yagumyum Peak; then, passing by the mystical maribuhok forests, one reaches the higher and grander Lake Nailig. From this lagoon there is again the option to scale Nailig Peak, otherwise known as Talinis Dako i.e. the highest point in the mountain. Finally, on the way down via the Apolong Route, pass by the sulphuric river and the Twin Falls of Talinis before ending in the grand cascade of Casaroro Falls, the highest in Negros at over 90 meters. A destination by itself, Casaroro Falls is a fitting conclusion to the Talinis experience.

Hongkong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and it is owned and managed by Hong Kong International Theme Parks. It is the largest theme park in Hong Kong, followed by Ocean Park Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Disneyland is the main reason why my sister and I visited Hong Kong. Undoubtedly one of the famous attractions in Hong Kong, this theme park boasts of 7 themed attractions like Fantasyland, Adventureland, Main Street, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land, Tomorrowland and Grizzly Gulch. Being here is like fulfilling a childhood dream, especially seeing the fireworks display.
Don’t miss the Flights of Fantasy Parade (my favorite!) around 1:30 PM and the Disney Paint the Night Parade at around 8:45 PM.

Disneyland in Asia!
Hong Kong is special to me, because it’s my first international travel with my sister. It’s like fulfilling a childhood dream when we toured Hong Kong Disneyland. This is why I wrote this Hong Kong Travel Guide Blog. If you dream of traveling to Hong Kong, have the courage to pursue it. As Walt Disney said it, “If you can dream it, you can do it!”. But of course, Hong Kong travel blog is not all about Hong Kong Disneyland, I also included sample Macau + Hong Kong itineraries with budget.
Hong Kong is perpetually short on space and overflowing with people, reason why the country is sprinkled with eye-popping high-rise apartment buildings to address the housing crisis. Yet despite its size, it attracts millions of tourists each year, and that’s not really surprising, given the wealth of family-friendly attractions, lively street life and shopping meccas here. And if you feel like escaping the bustling, futuristic jungle, rush to the outlying areas with hills and beaches that remain untainted by commercialism.

the best of Hongkong
Hong Kong is one of the busiest and the most developed metropolitan hubs in Asia in terms of trade, business, and tourism. It consists of the Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories, and 200 outlying islands. While these areas are connected by sprawling train and bus networks, it is important to be familiar with its geography.
Hong Kong Island is where the Central area, the political and economic center, is located. Although intimidating at first, it harbors a number of affordable guesthouses and hostels. It is also home to many tourist attractions including the Victoria Peak.
Kowloon is where you will find most museums, markets, and the Avenue of Stars. It also has the greatest concentration of cheap guesthouses.
The New Territories, north of Kowloon, is dotted with wetland parks and temples. Lantau Island, one of the many outlying islands, takes pride in Ngong Ping (Giant Buddha and Po Lin Monastery) and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Here are more bits of info you might want to know to prep for your trip.
Language: Cantonese and English are the official languages. Almost 95% of the population speaks Cantonese. Almost everything a tourist would need has an English translation, so there isn’t that thick of a language barrier. Mandarin is also starting to flourish as more immigrants from the mainland pour in.
Currency: Hong Kong dollar (HKD). HKD 100 is around PHP 665, USD 12.75, EUR 11.23, SGD 17.25 (as of February 2019).
Money Exchange: You’ll find countless money changers around Hong Kong, concentrated in the areas of Tsim Sha Tsui (Chungking Mansions and Hankow Centre) and the Central district. ATMs are also aplenty, with HSBC being the most familiar.
Modes of payment: Most establishments prefer cash payment, but many of them also accept credit card transactions.

Hongkong the best!
There’s a hole in my heart that only Hong Kong can fill.
Perhaps it’s because of the fact that it is the first foreign city that I explored on my own for leisure and the first foreign destination I have visited more than once. (Singapore was my first overseas destination, but I was there to attend an awards show.) I had been to Hong Kong four times now, and I’m set to return later this month.
Looking back, having my international travel debut in Hong Kong isn’t a bad idea at all. This “modern and futuristic city” is a great destination for a first out-of-the-country trip. The culture is not too different to be alienating but not too similar to be boring. It is connected by an impressive, expansive systems of transportation — from its world-class airport terminals to its vast train network to its reliable bus system. They have all their major tourist attractions easily accessible. They also make the cities very friendly to kids and elderly, an important criterion for ideal family vacations. All these combined make it one of the best foreign cities for first-time overseas traveler.

Island Born of Fire
Camiguin is a tiny island province in Northern Mindanao having abundance of natural wonders for everyone to admire. From stunning islands, to relaxing hot springs and refreshing cold springs, to majestic waterfalls and mysterious historical attractions. This province is complete with everything an adventurous heart needs. To those who hate being bored, this is the place to be!
Dubbed as the “island born of fire”, Camiguin might sound off to some. It is home to 7 volcanoes with one being active. We might find these facts quite scary, but it’s actually the reason behind the countless hot and cold springs, even soda springs that anyone will truly enjoy. Also, the sight of the island province with towering volcanic peaks is such a massive beauty to behold.
Camiguin is small enough that you can traverse the whole circumferential road within just 2 hours. You can even visit multiple attractions in a single day. Some can even manage to have a day tour in Camiguin, especially those traveling to Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro. As for us, we decided to spend 3 days to fully utilize what this gorgeous province has to offer.
It’s also easy to DIY even though the sites are quite spread out. Thanks to many motorcycle/multicab rentals and the smallness of the province. Commuting is also possible but not so efficient.
