Osaka trip check point:
- Osaka castle
- Glico sign
- Mable beach
- Umeda sky building
You can get to these place by local subway system.
Train fare will between ¥200-¥1050, or more depends on no. of stations you will ride. You can get tickets at each subway station, or you can browse Osaka City Railway for a multi-way pass.
Osaka castle has a large number tourist come from different places, if you are interested history, or you like visiting museum (there are quite a few museums right next to Osaka Castle.)
Glico sign: a place for shopping, all kinds shopping. You can get a taste of Japan city vibe, since there is a large scale train station - Namba station, in the middle of the shopping district.
Mable beach: a very romantic places I say, a good place for couple, family, there is a huge shopping centre right next to the beach, when the sun goes down, you can see a very beautiful sunset there, with with Mable and ocean.
Umeda sky building:
Downtown Umeda has a lot to surprise you, where the modern Japanese city mix with European styled architecture everywhere. No doubt that the downtown Osaka has more than you think.
I stay near Mable beach, there are quiet large numbers of hotels and home stay near by, since Kansai airport is right next to Mable beach. I stayed at hotel and home stay, both gives a really good experience.
Food & Restaurants
Have to go underground food court near Umeda station, there is a sushi chef making fresh sushi for you!!

ACT III: JQHN IN OSAKA
Japan trip: Feb 1st ~ 18th
After my stay in Kyoto, I have made my way to the final place to visit... Osaka!
For the first place to visit was obviously the famous #dotonbori to have a look at the running man of Glico for myself.
Then walked around to see the many shops around the area (Which isn't long enough to look around in under a day)
For the next place, we went to visit the #narapark and oh my god were the deers persistent to have a bite of the crackers I bought!
Following the next day was the day which I look foward to was the great #osakacastle, and looking at the magnificent castle with my own eyes has completely fulfilled this trip.
Finally, it was the day I went to #universalstudiosjapan.
Mainly my goal was to visit the Nintendo World section, and there I got to try out the Mario Kart ride (Which the line took 2 hrs so I recommend getting a fast pass for this ride)
And now for the last day of the trip, I thought I took it slow and visit around the areas near my accommodation and visited places such as #tsutenkakutower and malls at #osakastation.
Now it was the end of my trip ans I left Japan from #kansaiinternationalairport and for the longest time I've wanted to visit Japan, and to finally have my wish come true... I know for a fact that this won't be my last!
Thank you for reading my lengthy story of my first trip to Japan!

Life in Dotonbori at night and a visit to the Osaka Castle #osakacastle #dotonbori
We arrived at Osaka Castle in the morning to learn about its history at the museum, and after closing hours (5:30 PM) the Illuminage event began and we were able to get stunning shots of Osaka Castle at night. There were a few food stands within this light show, including a takoyaki stand! the food was great and the overall atmosphere was beautiful. it was also a full moon.

Japan and it's castles; comparing Japanese castles with their European counterparts, these Asian structures were never built on a cliff or a hill for extra protection. So, the shōgun built up moats and mazes to slow down enemy attackers. Unlike us Europeans, the Japanese respected these beautiful buildings and very rarely attacked them, instead strangling the food supply so the residents inside starved to death, and then the enemy would waltz in and own an unattacked, unbroken building. The Japanese are amazing. #history #historyfacts #japan #japanesehistory #castle #osakacastle #osaka #sunset #beautiful #castlesunset #japan #travel #solotravel #white #asia #asianarchitecture #castlefacts
