Address - St Giles Southkey Hotel, Causeway Cafe Level 3 Ambiance/Facilities - Avoid peak period after 8am as there will be a long snake like queue to wait to get seated. A restaurant with alot of tables and chairs spread across the restaurant. Highlights - International Buffet spread which includes Western food like eggs, hotdogs, baked beans, hams, wide spread of breads and crossaint, pancakes, waffles, variety of yogurts to choose from and chocolate and plain cereals. Asian Cuisine like Nasi Lemak, Lontong Sayur lodeh, Mee Goreng, Dishes like Oyster fish, beef with spices, Steamed buns. Home away from home at Pan Pac!

I have heard mixed reviews about this but when I entered the room, those negative reviewers need to get them checked! The room was beautiful and well-lit and luxurious! The kitchen is equipped with washer/dryer machines, rice cooker, toaster and even have the coffee machines with pods provided. The room has bathtub as well and a beautiful view of Singapore (albeit the construction area). The pool has a wonderful view of Singapore flyer. Amazing weekend getaway in Kuala Lumpur!

When I step into the M Resort & Hotel, it feels like a luxurious Bali resort. The facilities, food, spa, gym, kids' area, and chill-out zones are all so amazing! The hotel's interior and rooms are lovely, and I can't get enough of them. The hotel offers so many activities that I don't have to leave the premises to fill my days. What I appreciate the most is that they have a schedule of activities for all the areas, including the kids' area, which is fantastic! The pool area is fantastic, and they have safety guards at the slides for both kids and adults. The food is outstanding, and they have a wide selection ranging from light to heavy meals. The flavors are authentic Asian tastes, not just typical "hotel food." They even serve "tekak melayu" these nasi lemak is goooddd! However, in my opinion, they could improve by providing ironing boards for guests. If you plan a family staycation in Serpong where kids can play in the water or swim, you must definitely chose Vega Hotel. The hotel located near the biggest mall in Gading Serpong, Summarecon Mall Serpong. It’s a five-minutes walk to the mall. The outdoor pool divides into three part: children’s pool, 80 CM depth of pool, and 140 CM depth of pool. The pool opens for hotel guess only from 6AM to 6PM. The club indulgence package offer us Straits Club privileges including Chandon breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and canapes. The Straits Club Marina Bay View Room is luxuriously spacious , about 388 – 420sqf or 36 – 39sqm , the balcony offer spectacular views of Marina Bay , the iconic Marina Bay Sand, Art Science Museum and Merlion. The decor of room is elegant , spacious and comfortable , enough room for extra baby sleeping cot. Among all the amenities, we enjoyed the fresh fruit and Nespresso® Coffee Machine with complimentary coffee capsules and selection of TWG tea. The clean bathroom with separate bathtub and shower stall with overhead shower and Atkinsons collection bathroom amenities, they also thoughtfully provided kid amenities. At the Straits Club, we enjoyed our first Afternoon tea with delicious mix of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, sweet pastries and cakes , paired with Iced Latte and tea. There is also a quieter and nicely decorated lounge in the Straits Club where we have our evening cocktails and canapes. We enjoyed our staycation at Fullerton Hotel greatly, albeit the restrictions of Covid rules. The check in and check out process are fast and well organised, the staff are friendly and service are excellent. [Staycation] Birthday/ Anniversary Staycation at Big Sky Room – Llyod’s Inn Singapore On my birthday and our anniversary celebration, as usual we always spend our time either for staycation or travelling. We decided to stay at Lloyd’s Inn Singapore. We were amazed with their Big Sky Room photos (especially the outdoor bathtub) and of course their common area, the pool particularly. There are minimalistic feel, the raw finishes of the walls and floors run throughout the inn’s common area and into the rooms, with touch of nature. The Common Area They have dipping pool area surrounded by greenery, as well as garden deck for guess to chill. The pool located just below the reception area. They also have Outdoor Pantry and Roof Terrace, it a great place to mingle with other travellers. Creepers (Ficus pumila) are running almost around every of their raw finish wall. It looks like modern oasis in the middle of the hustle bustle of city area. The Big Sky Room The Big Sky Room offers a touch of luxury for the stylish traveller. An outdoor bathtub basks in the open air, giving you your very own piece of the sky. The sleeping area is with king-sized bed. This is the biggest room they had, thus it looks spacious and there is a bathtub. The upper floor is actually the working area, separated for privacy and fitted with a bench and a working table. About My Staycation Experience Everything were okay, the room we stayed is very spacious and clean. They even left a bag of cookies and birthday card inside our room, it’s simple but such a sweet gesture. Overall, I was quite happy to be able to stay at Lloyd’s Inn Singapore, another bucket list ticked off from my Singapore staycation list. As this is just an inn, you shouldn’t expect a five star services, but overall i think this place is quite decent and rate is reasonable. You may consider to stay at this place when you visit to Singapore Tucked in Somerset area, Lloyd’s Inn Singapore is a 34-room boutique hotel with 8 room types, a five-minute walk away from Singapore’s famous Orchard Road shopping belt. Auberge DB staycation This could be our favourite family friendly hotel. Satisfying my kids needs, including bathtubs, Disney Junior on tv, beach or playground at a reasonably good price. Before the playground reopens, I book the staycation packages that includes an afternoon set and buffet breakfast for 2 at $1100 per room, and upgraded to ocean front view for just $300 extras. Room is spacious, bed and amenities are acceptable, view is always spectacular when the sea is included; the fun clubs or I call it the game room for adults and kids are opened which is cool because we had a little bit of fun time with the table tennis, basketball machine and arcade. Afternoon tea set is alright and buffet breakfast with enough food choices. Do remember to book your time slot for buffet breakfast though. The next morning, we had breakfast at 8, done by 9 and head right to the beach nearby. Where we found this beach playground set up by the locals, and a pond next to it. K and D absolutely love this place! The swing, the zipline, the mini- tree house and their favourite spot is the pond where they found shrimp, crabs and fishes! They met other kids and started to play for hours. I love how kids are enjoying and being natural, at nature. I took kids back to the beach and playground a week later. They spent 3 hours at the pond and beach, playing with Italian and Aussie kids. We managed to catch a fish and crab for close observation before freeing them to the pond. I later learnt that this amazing playground we are enjoying are works of these kids hero dads, wanting their kids to be able to have fun outside, especially during the pandemic where the playgrounds are closed. Glamping at Simple Cottage Staycation with kids at Simple Cottage are delightful! We’ve been looking forward to spend a night at the colourful little cottage for months (we made reservations in late October, last year). And we are not disappointed! Kids love everything about it and have been asking if we are going again. Their absolute favourite is of course the playground, which is understandable given that playground elsewhere have been closedown for weeks; next in line would be the colourful cottage, especially the attic part which they claimed the territory almost immediately; and last but not least, the idea of barbecued at front door with wooden bench as our dining area. So, glamping here is definitely another fun experience to do with family/ kids! Simple Cottage is located in Shui Mui Tsuen, Kam Tin; offering colourful cottage with basic furniture and equipments such as air-condition, single door refrigerator, electric stove and cooking pot, shower and 3 double beds. In addition, you could rent the barbecue facility which comes with the grill, charcoal, net and tongs. There’s a huge lawn with playground too. Free parking right outside of the campsite. Kind reminders, please bring your utensils/ kitchenware, towels and toiletries.
