An Art Experience You Wouldn't Want to Miss

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience exhibition opened in Singapore last March. I was able to book a ticket for last April just in time for my birthday festivities. It was a one-of-a-kind experience. I just wished we could have gone for an earlier timing, so we weren’t pressed for time going through the whole exhibition. My favourite exhibitions were the blinking portraits of Van Gogh, the 360-degree wall projections, and his works on display. We stayed the longest in the 360-degree projections room. It was the highlight for me. There were rugs and chairs for you to lounge around while your whole surroundings just changes. I learned a lot about his life through the timelines and different story-telling techniques in the exhibition. I was so intrigued by his life that even on our way home, I am still researching about him. There were lots of activities you could partake in. Aside from the projections, there’s VR, movie theatre, making your own paintings and have them on display through projection. There’s even a souvenir shop and a café after passing through the whole exhibition. The exhibition will end this October and is located in Resorts World Sentosa. #weekendgetaways Immerse yourself in the magnificent visual art display at Sentosa! Tickets can be bought online prior as tickets can be sold out especially during weekends. The exhibition space is large and well managed. I thoroughly enjoyed the display there. You can pay extra to try AR exhibit. There is also an interactive activity where you can colour the worksheets and scan it to display. The part I enjoyed most was the immersive experience where you get to sit / lie down to enjoy the audiovisual display. We spent a few hours there and grabbed a quick snack at the Van Gogh cafe. Van Gogh Museum, 📍Shanghai

During the holidays, i discovered the Van Gogh Museum which is located on Nanjing Street, Peoples Square 📸 The experience was good, as the whole area has alot of Van Gogh aesthetic painted everywhere and is an ideal place to take amazing pictures, they have amazing interactive installations which are interesting but the images taken are aesthetically pleasing 😍😍😍 The museum has alot of painted props you can interact with taking pictures but koat importantly you have enjoy the experience and have a laugh with your friends 😍😍 The ticket price is 68¥ which is worth it because the rooms aint that big but you do have a good time and you do end up spending time and make worth the money 📸 📍East Nanjing Street , shopping mall with Nike, go to the 3F by the escalators and take the life to the 8F 🎫 68¥ 🕰️ 10:00 - 20:00 #exhibitions #shanghai #vangoghexperience

Van Gogh Immersive Experience, what a trip !

I great backup plan if you get a rainy day like I did ! 😂 cool museum and the whole exhibition is a trip without drugs 😜. really cool for pictures and not overpriced ( 69 RMB = 9.20 Euro) I was buy myself and took me about 30 min to enjoy everything, if you go with friends surely you'll spend more time taking more pictures ! An emotional day with Tina Turner and Van Gogh

Instead of spending time and money on food as is often the go to, why not take a trip downtown and see a show.. Tina Turner offered a rollercoaster of emotions, as we followed her heartbreaking story and her great resilience. The theatre was beautiful, and all seats offered good views. We then took a walk through town to the Van Gogh museum, which is so relaxing. even if you just want to sit somewhere quiet, this offers a space away from the rush outside. #londontrip #vangoghexperience #aldwychtheatre

The Van Gogh exhibition was tremendously well planned and well executed, especially for the Immersion room and all the short video screenings. This was an excellent exhibition for everyone especially newbies to Van Gogh and his work. Highly recommended on the VR experience.
