A Spooky Halloween at USJ

My favorite Halloween event this year was at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. It was a good idea to go for two days because there was SO much happening in the park. I never once felt bored during my experience. Once I got off the shinkansen from Tokyo, I immediately made a beeline to USJ. During the day, I watched the Pokemon parade and took a picture with my favorite Pokemon: Gengar. From there, I used my express passes to check out some of the Halloween houses, with Biohazard being reserved for the evening. Once evening hit, Hami-Kuma and his zombie crew lit up the night to terrify guests and dance to Ado's catchy hit, "Show." I got scared many times and loved every second of it. Japan has also loads of fun filled places like Universal studios Japan located in Osaka where this is one of the 6 universal studios located world wide. The park although open more than 20 years ago, it is well maintained and the props are ever changing. Unlike most of the Universal studios, Japan universal studios open late so that you can enjoy the night lights and the many photo taking spots! There is more than 10 over different zones but the most fun one for me is the super Nintendo world which is special to the Japan universal studios.

We clocked our girls wishlist to Japan and we visited USJ! the Mario Park is so cute and it lights up our experience! the girls love it and bring back the adults old school memories of the mario game!!! A blast experience in USJ!

First things first, never miss to get some capture in front of the signature entrance! Cause it’s really iconic to someone who visiting this place. Yes, the area was crowded but it’s nice day to hangout with friends! Also, got a lot of rules to follow. But I don’t mind, as long as i can enjoy myself here. If you like extreme things, you should try the cool rides and visit the attractions here. From kids to adults, everything suitable for you to have fun. It’s gonna be a long day to discover the place. Last Spring 2019 in the infinite Winter of #usj. ♥️ I lived my Harry Potter dream. All those who are very close to me would know that I am such a huge Potterhead. I never missed a year since 2011 without having my HP series movie marathon. I, of course, took the Sorting Hat test and was sorted to Ravenclaw. From then on, every Halloween Party, I would dress up as a Ravenclaw student, except when I needed to dress up as Darna one specific year. Enjoyed my student life at Pottermore failing my Potions subject and winning my duels. I almost cried when I received my hardbound HP books as a gift last year. Lastly, going to all parks of Universal Studios with HP attraction is one of my biggest dreams as a Potterhead. Last weekend was a weekend to remember, because I got to live that dream. I visited Universal Studios Japan! And of course, I wouldn’t dare miss The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. UJS: SUPER NINTENDO WORLD in Osaka 🇯🇵

Two weeks ago I went to Universal Studios Japan and I was able to enter the 'Super Nintendo World'. You can't miss this place if you pass through Osaka! It feels like being inside the Mario videogame. You can also buy interactive bracelets, called “Power Up Band”, with which you can collect coins, just like in the videogame. You can buy the bracelets at the kiosks in the dedicated area. We have chosen the characters of Princess Peach and Luigi, but those of Mario, Yoshi and other characters are also available. In 2024 the new part dedicated to Donkey Kong is also expected to open. In addition to the world dedicated to Super Mario, the amusement park is very large and there are areas dedicated to Harry Potter and Jurassic Park. Would you go there? USJ Nintendo World & Harry Potter Review+Tips

USJ OSAKA WAS SO MUCH FUN! I’m not going to gatekeep anything! Imma share with you guys my honest review, tips and tricks to fully enjoy whilst spending the least amount of money! 1. Compare price of USJ ticket on various sites to find the cheapest (e.g Trip.com, Agoda, klook) 2. Book your ticket to go USJ on a Wednesday/ Thursday as these are the least crowded days (ensure that it is not a school or public holiday period) 3. I bought a 1 day studio pass (no express pass) and managed to enter the 3 most hyped areas. The ticket lasts for 3 months if you don’t manage to enter on the day you booked it! 4. Download the USJ app and upload your tickets to register for the area time zones 24h in advance! 5. Wake up really early, arrive at the entrance of USJ before 830am, as USJ opens 830-9am. Ideally you should reach at 730am as there would be multiple long queues already. Ensure you are queuing to enter and not to purchase tickets! 6. Once the gates open, run as fast as you can to enter Super Nintendo world! As this is a time-entry area zone, they will block you out once the capacity of this area has been reached. If you are blocked out, you can keep refreshing the USJ app to see when they will release the area time zones. If it is released, click on it straightaway and you will get 1-3hours to visit Super Nintendo world. In my experience, USJ released this timed area entry on the app from 9am-12pm. 7. Purchase the Nintendo strap band! It is steep for 3600 yen each but it makes your time there so much more enjoyable as you get to collect points and stickers on the app and rise to the top of the scoreboard! The rides were not that fun to be honest, it was the strap band that made things exciting! 8. Love adrenaline and thrills? Head to flying dinosaur in Jurassic World for the craziest rollercoaster you’ve ever ridden on, I promise you that. I love that USJ has a queue for single riders, go there and your waiting time drops from 60mins to 15mins. Once you sit on the ride, it rotates 90degrees downwards for you to face the ground. The whole ride is like that and there are >20 twists and turns. I rode this TWICE. 9. The wizarding world of Harry Potter does not even require an express pass. As the crowd died down at 1-2pm, it was a good time to enter this world. The main ride there had AC, great to cool yourself down. Get some frozen butterbeer too! 10. The backdrop rollercoaster has no single rider queues but it is also an exhilarating ride! The Magic in Universal Studios Japan

First time coming to Universal Studios Japan and it's so much better than I thought. My expectations were based off the Universal Studios in Singapore and I think it's even better? The journey through the park itself was really interactive even without the rides (if you are willing to spend on some of the products such as the wand and Nintendo watch I got). The experience was made much better through the fast pass we got although being more pricey. But this gave us more time to explore the park which although we didn't complete was still really fun 🙆🏻‍♂️ Important to note that both Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World are timed entry areas and have to be bought on top of the ticket to enter (run out really fast). Our Harry Potter World timed entry to ticket came with our fast pass but didn't manage to get the one for Super Nintendo World.
