I recently had the pleasure of visiting Crockford Bridge Farm for a delightful day of fruit and vegetable picking, and let me tell you, it was an absolute treat for the senses! From juicy strawberries to vibrant raspberries, and everything in between, this charming farm had it all.

Seeing is deceiving!!!
So, I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Camera Obscura in Edinburgh, and let me just say, it was an absolute blast! If you're in the mood for some quirky fun, this place is a must-visit.
First things first, the location itself is fantastic. Situated right at the top of the iconic Royal Mile, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the city. It's the perfect spot to start your Edinburgh adventure.
Now, let's talk about the main attraction - the camera obscura itself. For those who don't know, it's essentially a giant periscope that projects live images of the city onto a viewing table. It's like stepping into a magical world where you can spy on unsuspecting pedestrians or get a bird's-eye view of Edinburgh Castle. Trust me, it's incredibly fascinating.
But that's not all! The Camera Obscura is a multi-level experience, with each floor offering a different interactive exhibit. From mind-bending optical illusions to a room that makes you feel like you're walking on the ceiling, there's something to captivate everyone's imagination.
One of my personal highlights was the mirror maze. I must admit, I got embarrassingly lost in there, but it was an absolute riot! Trying to find my way out while laughing at my own reflection was a hilarious experience.
And let's not forget the rooftop terrace. It's the perfect place to take a breather, soak in the stunning views, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a street performer entertaining the crowds below.
The staff at the Camera Obscura were also friendly and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to explain the science behind the exhibits and answer any questions we had. It's always a bonus when you can learn something new while having a great time!
So, whether you're a tourist or a local looking for a fun day out, I highly recommend checking out the Camera Obscura in Edinburgh. Wanna know the History?
First things first, let's talk about the sheer size of this place. It's massive! As you step inside, you'll find yourself surrounded by endless corridors and galleries, each filled with treasures from all corners of the world. Trust me, you could spend days here and still not see everything.
Now, let's get to the star of the show – the exhibits. Brace yourself for some jaw-dropping artifacts that will transport you through time. From the famous Rosetta Stone to the stunning Elgin Marbles, the British Museum houses some truly iconic pieces. It's like stepping into the pages of a history book, only better because you can actually see and touch these ancient wonders.
One of the things I love most about the British Museum is its diverse collection. You can explore everything from Egyptian mummies to Greek sculptures, from ancient Chinese ceramics to African tribal masks. It's a melting pot of cultures, and it's fascinating to see how civilizations have evolved throughout the ages.
Another highlight is the museum's commitment to education. They have interactive displays and multimedia presentations that make learning about history fun and engaging. Whether you're a curious child or an adult with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, there's something for everyone here.
Oh, and did I mention that the entrance to the British Museum is free? Yes, you read that right! So, you can wander through these hallowed halls without spending a penny. It's a fantastic opportunity to soak up all the history and culture without breaking the bank.
Now, I do have to mention that the British Museum can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist season. So, if you prefer a quieter experience, I recommend visiting early in the morning or later in the day. That way, you can truly appreciate the exhibits without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds.

Fun and interactive Museum
This was probably one of the best museum I’ve been to, a model for modern learning that is fun and interactive. Highly creative. Great facilities. The Museum consists of 3 parts including a permanent exhibition, rotating exhibition and creative learning activities. There is a lesser focus on traditional artefacts but more on modern unique memorabilia from Thailand’s culture. The show in room 3 was the best.
Museum Siam truly gives you the 360 insights and experience about Thailand. It is a thought-provoking place as well as you are encouraged to compare the difference between Thai stereotypes and their actualities. Expect to learn more about Thailand’s cuisine, religions, education and more. There is a cool giftshop you must also visit.
Address - Museum Siam, 4 Sanam Chai Rd, Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200
Getting there - MRT Sanam Chai Station
Opening hours - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. / closed on Mondays

Capitivating Cable car - Phu Quoc
Located in the south of the island and connects the island with a smaller island. Total ride is about 15 mins. Each car can hold up to 30 people, it was about 70% full in mine.
The view is beautiful. Views of the sea, views of small of islands, and small fishing boats. The car runs along smoothly, and it gets rather high.
The ticket price is a bit high. Maybe worth buying tickets as part of a package.
Cool experience overall. #phuquoc #vietnam #cablecar #familytravel
Waterpark in Phu Quoc (Aquatopia)
Located on a small island off the South coast, accessible by boat or cable car. Locker usage is easy to navigate and cheap. Park was clean and offers lots of shade. Many showers available with dressing rooms.
There's lots of features for all ages, kids pool with playground, wave pool, and some rather intense rides for the more daring. Also includes a lazy river.
Typical snacks and drinks available around the park. Good half a day out to make the kids happy and tired.#phuquoc #vietnam #waterpark #familytravel #trip
