A Short Trip to SG
Our trip to Singapore is simply the best. We all had the best time exploring the city. I love how convenient it is to go around and to travel from one tourist attraction to another. We visited so many places and we enjoyed it so much. We enjoyed the time we spent at Marina Bay the most. This spot is simply amazing. Also, we had a fun time riding a cable car that offers a panoramic view of the city. Will definitely come back, Sg!

Must See In Kuala Lumpur
This city amazed me and even though i only had couple of days to visit it I’ve managed to see some of the best attractions there. Here’s how to do it 🙌
Get sim card and metro card. Install grab and maps for convenience and you’re good to go. Stay in one of many cozy places downtown with rooftop pools and sky bars. We stayed at Mana Mana suites 👍 @Scarletz
Visit Petronas Towers of course. These buildings are breathtaking and I couldn’t get enough of them. Take a stroll through KLCC and grab a lunch at Orchid, Nobu, Canopy, local street food market close to embassies or get up earlier and head to Lucianos for best slice of pizza.
Use metro card to visit Batu Caves. Last stop from KL central and it’s definitely worth the drive. Get a cup of coffee at small little stall right next to the exit and meet the nicest lady ever. I recommend grabbing food there as well. Careful with monkeys. They’re nice and well behaved but they can spot a banana from mile away.
Visit Petaling street and China town and then head to Little India for some authentic food. Both places are perfect for an evening stroll and surrounding areas are fun and instagramble 😀
Visit one of many mosques around the city but definitely take your time to visit beautiful pink mosque 🕌
And last but not least, end your trip with visit to famous bar street. Get shisha, amazing cocktails, tiger beer and try to visit Indian night clubs for best night of your life.
Needless to say, I’ll be back! 🇲🇾❤️

Deepavali @LittleIndia Singapore
#sginsider
Once a year, the little India district turns into a very happening place, with bazaars for food and all necessity for the celebration of Deepavali.
Serangoon Road and Race Course Road are the center stage for the light-up. It is so beautiful in the nighttime, giving you a happy feeling and positive thinking for welcoming the new year. This is the event that you must visit and see. The light-up is from 16 September to 13 November 2022.
The biggest bazaar is located in front of Tekka Mall at the beginning of Serangoon road, and another one is located opposite Mustafa Center, next to the mosque, and in front of Farrer Park Hotel and medical center.

Most massive place I stayed for a trip!
My family came to Singapore during the F1 week, the hotels were extremely expensive, the cheapest place we found was $8795 for 2 rooms for 3 nights in a budget hotel in #littleindia we couldn’t afford it and we are not willing to spend that amount for a 22 sq meter rooms! Then we decided to stay in JB and booked this amazing place. It is a #penthouse in #johorbahru #kslhotel&resort it is a 170 sq. meter, 3 bedroom 2 story apartment with 4 bathroom, an overlooking view of the city for just less than $800 for 3 nights! #amazinghotel it is also accessible to variety of food shops, just beside the mall and the best place to get a satisfying massage! #mytripvlog
The Streets Of Syed Alwi Road(Photo Ed)
Heading to Singapore recently, you have to head to the little india district where you will be able to find many authentic Indian restaurants, be it from north or south India, even small little take away shops where they will selluq the many super sweet Indian sweet treats, or the many fried crispy, or floury Indian snacks that you should try!
Many people will drop at the north east line at little india, but a good recommendation to stop at would be at farrer park instead, as this station bring you right into the heart of the little india District.
Do at least give yourself 3 to 4 hours here if you want to really explore each outlet and visit every street. I do recommend to start with Syed Alwi Road.

Kailash Parbat - A North Indine Cuisine
Little india is filled with rows of India restaurants that serves many authentic Indian food where most of these restaurants are also normally vegetarian especially when it comes to north Indian food.
We were on a hunt for Bhatura, it's a kind of fluffy dough where it is bigger than a normal poori. Mot many restaurants does it and can only be found in restaurants which serves North Indian food.
Kailash Parbat is one of the recommended restaurant to go for an authentic but yet reasonable meal.
Due to its reasonable prices, and really good food, this restaurants gets crowded as close as 6.30pm in the evening! So if you don't want to be disappointed, recommend to here early. You can find this restaurant right opposite of the popular mustafa mall!

The Famlus Mustafa Centre
Many locals and especially the Indian community are well aware of the very famous mustafa centre where this is a 6 level shopping centre owned by the brand name mustafa.
Why is this so popular? This is due to the many cheaper prices here on all the items that you can see on the shelf, the sell all sort of items from groceries like biscuits and chocolates from india(and even local and overseas brands too), to housing wares, to even book for kids, electronics which are generally much much cheaper but I believe not all warrants a warranty.
So if you want to do some shopping head on down to mustafa where this place also closes really late at 2am daily!

Deepavali Pasar Malam At Little India
So we all know the deepavali festival is happening round the corner and the Indian community are all gearing up for this event, where you will be able to see many of the favourite Indian snacks all around shops and supermarket, and the many saris and Indian costume all on sale.
There is a pasar malam actually happening in the district of little india with all the many saris and colourful Indian costumes being hang around, the many carpets, Indian ornaments and also all the deepvali snacks and handmade fried Indian food too!
Drop by here for a visit when you are around the corner!

Kailash Parbat, Authentic Indian Restaurant
Walking around little india you will definitely be spoilt for choice on the many restaurants and street food to choose from.
If you are looking for really authentic Indian food, where they also serve a wide variety of choices where you might not also be able to find at other Indian restaurants, Kailash Parbat is the place to go along the popular Syed Alwi Road, located opposite of mustafa centre!
This place also has a nice ambience, with comfortable seating spaces, and on top of it all, it has one of the best Google reviews with above 4.0 ratings out of 1800k reviews! Which means, it's got to be good isn't it!

Mustafa Centre - everything under one roof
Address: 145 Syed Alwi Road, Mustafa Centre, Singapore 207704
Located in Singapore’s Little India, Mustafa Centre is one place you should not miss. It used to be opened 24 hours but has since shortened its opening hours to 2am due to the covid pandemic. Nonetheless, it is still one of the busiest mall, always packed with both locals and tourists.
Mustafa boasts of 2 connected buildings with 6 levels of shopping, starting from Basement 2 to Level 4. You can literally find everything under one roof! From Electronics such as home appliances, laptops, mobile phones; Sports equipment and sportswear, Children goods and clothing, Ladies wear and accessories, Menswear and accessories, adult and children shoes, groceries, medicines, gold jewellery, postal service, travel services and the list goes on… there is literally nothing you cannot find in Mustafa!
One interesting trait of going to Mustafa is, if you carry a big bag, the security officer will use a cable tie to secure your zip; likewise, after your purchase, your shopping bags will also be secured with cable ties. Remember to ask the security officer to cut off your cable ties when you exit Mustafa!

Little India in Dongguan
This Indian restaurant is located on Dongcheng Branch Road, next to Qifeng park.
We got welcomed by the Indian Chef which was very nice but still we were a little not sure if the food will be good. As we where tired and very hungry 🤤 we made our order with a hope that everything will be good.
So, I must say that the food was delicious 😍and we were very pleased, In terms of price wasn’t expensive at all we paid a little bit less then 300rmb but we left the restaurant full and satisfied.
I don't know why but the smells of the kitchen were in the guest area which was not very good at all ( too smelly )
So I’ll give it 8 out of 10 but still if you are a foodie then definitely go give it a try I am sure you’ll not be disappointed by the food.

Historical Indian temple
Address - Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, 397 Serangoon Road, Singapore 218123
Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is located within the Little India district in Singapore and stands to be one of the oldest Indian temples in the country! Its iconic facade at the entrance is a tall crown of sculptures illustrating the different incarnations of an Indian god, Lord Vishnu.
Constructed back in 1885, this temple has undergone many renovations and expansions to fit the needs of its worshippers. It was declared a National Monument by the government in 1978, recognising its historical significance to the Singapore narrative.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Last Chinese Bungalow in Little India
You may have seen this building, but you don't know the name. It's Tan Teng Niah, a Chinese businessman who owned several sweet-making factories along Serangoon Road.
The design is very unique as a Chinese historic building sitting in the middle of Little India Singapore.
Built in 1900, the house was restored and conserved in 1980s. this heritage building is the most visited and instagramable in Little India. It has featured in various local and international television dramas and variety shows, including The Asian Next Top Models.
I love the design of this building; very colorful and reminds me of Kue Lapis. It's the design of Sothern Chinese and European vibes as well. I felt it is like the Peranakan house. In 2019, this heritage building was valued at 71 million.
Address: 37 Kerbau Road, Singapore.
Best to get here:
Take MRT Purple Line, stop at Little India, and take E exit. Once you reach the street level, walk to your right side, it is located next to several shophouses.
Alternative: Take a public bus no 23, 64, 65, 67, 132, 139, 147, 857 and stop in front of Tekka Market. Walk up to the next traffic light and turn left.

BELIEVE THE HYPE: LITTLE INDIA & ARAB STREET
📍Even if you are in Singapore, the ambiance here in Arab Street and Little India is one of a kind. From the vendors selling to the aroma of food all over, it feels like you are really in India. In Singapore, they have this place where you can shop and stroll at the same time.
📍Little India maintains its one-of-a-kind character since the streets here flaunt a dazzling array of authentic shops. Here, you can easily locate emporiums, spice markets, magnificent sari boutiques, commercial establishments, and modern shopping malls. Not to mention, the food also tastes great here and you can experience how the people eat just like in India. Little India is also famous for being a colorful street .
📍Arab Street is the center of the Islam community. Surrounding these areas are where the Malay ethnicity reside, mostly Muslims. Many shops are influenced by the Muslim culture and tradition. They sell prayer rugs, articles, antiques, jilbab, Muslim caps and others. A total memorabilia package!
There are great structures including buildings and establishments found in the Street. The Sultan Mosque, appearing with its unique architecture and its famous golden dome, is also found here.

Going to India without going to India
Little India is an ethnic neighborhood in Singapore where there are many Indian shops and restaurants. You'll also be able to find temples and markets. All of this makes you feel as if you've gone to India, which is quite remarkable as you are still in Singapore. It just shows how'd multicultural the city truly is.
