📹 Pink Fong World Adventure Wonderland
This pop up indoor playground is huge and full of ball pits. Everyone will be jumping for joy inside the ball pits and there are also trampolines around too. Pink Fong is part of the Baby Shark cartoon series and this is the first indoor playground in Singapore to feature Pink Fong and Baby sharks. There are so many interactive games, children rides, a ball pit with bouncy slides and even a sand pit area. This is the Baby Shark world for all the children.
Wishing to go again after they change their character theme in 2023.

📹 Learn about tea
There are so many drinks at LiHo and one of my favourite bubble tea brands. I wish I could buy more bubble tea vouchers on the Trip app. I hope they can include LiHo too. This outlet at vivocity is big and they have more staff so the queuing time is also shorter. If you are at Sentosa, you also can find LiHo at the Beach station and RWS. It is really easy to buy bubble tea in Singapore.

📹 Outdoor playground
This is an outdoor playground on the 2nd level at Vivocity. It is free entry and everyone can play here. During weekends, there are cartoon character rides available for rental. You can rent it and ride around the playground. It is a great place for the children to play and it is also convenient for the parents. There are nursing rooms, toilets and retail shops in the same building. You can also go up to their rooftop water park area too. I wish for more collaborate for staycation package like the previous Sentosa Fun Tokens package.

📹 Yakiniku Like
What I wish for in 2023 is to be able to go on vacation and staycation and plan many good foods into my itinerary. This is Yakiniku Like at 1 HarbourFront Walk, #02-60, Singapore 098585. They change their menu every now and then and I am here for their truffle series. You will have your own bbq stove and you cook for yourself. This place is just at Sentosa and there are many hotels nearby and do staycation too!

📹 Curry Times
They have some value for money lunch set at Curry Times and this outlet is at 3 Gateway Dr, #02-08 Westgate, Singapore 608532. You can locate them easily at the level 2 link bridge connecting JEM and Westgate. There is no need for reservation as it is a first come first served restaurant. A great option for local food and you can choose from the seasonal promotional menu too. The entire restaurant is designed in a nostalgic fashion, reminiscing the 70s Singapore style.
Wishing for special deals to buy dining vouchers for Curry Times.

📹Getting ready for NERF Action
A high impact indoor playground and only kids 7 years old and above are allowed here. There is also a minimum height for their activities. You will arrive at their reception to buy/exchange tickets. Their address is 6 Raffles Blvd, #01-208 Marina Square, Singapore 039594. You can locate Carl Junior’s fast food restaurant and Nerf Action is on the same level. There is a need to wear anti-slip socks to play at the obstacle course. You can buy socks at the reception if you need. Also, covered shoes are mandatory in Nerf. So please bring along your covered shoes.
I Want to play again at Nerf and have a birthday party there too!

📹 NERF Action Xperience Conquer
The obstacle course at Conquer is not so easy but once you get the hang of it, you can do it yourself without an adult. There are staff around to assist you if you are unable to pull your safety line. All participants have to wear a safety harness and you will travel everywhere with a safety line. In total, once you enter Nerf Action Xperience, you only have 3 hours to get in here and you will have to book a time slot before coming. Plus, there is a waiver to sign off to acknowledge the risks involved. You can fill out this waiver online or do it before you enter.

📹 Silverkris lounge T2
Singapore airlines opened their Silverkris lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 2 recently. I had the chance to try it after they reopened. There is nothing special about this Silverkris lounge despite it was being renovated. Somehow I feel it can be better since it is catered to business class travellers. Nonetheless, I appreciate the free flow of food and drinks at the lounge. The luxury of having a shower is always a great gesture. In Singapore lounges, getting a shower in the lounge is easier as there are more shower cubicles and the queue time is much shorter.
Hoping to be able to visit Silverkris lounge everytime in 2023.

Super easy to come here by following the rainbow roof. Exit from Orchard MRT and enter ION shopping mall and you will see this rainbow roof above the escalator. Take the escalator all the way down and you will arrive at the Food Opera. This is a food court at 2 Orchard Turn, #b4 - 03 / 04, Singapore 238801. You can choose what you like to eat and also share with your families and friends. It is a cheaper way to dine at Orchard road by eating at the food courts. You also save time on queuing to get into busy restaurants.

Soup spoon
Enjoy a nice bowl of hot and delicious soup at The Soup spoon. I am here at one of theri outlets and their address is 50 Jurong Gateway Rd, B1-K11, Singapore 608549. It is a self service kiosk order style. You will choose what you want and then make payment. Then find a seat and wait for your number to be called. I like to have their soup for lunch and sometimes I will add on extra bread too.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
New game alert at Orchard MRT and the entire MRT station is decorated with posters and art murals of the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet games. It is a successful advertising campaign. The designs are really attractive and colourful. Even if you never know about Pokemon, you will know them once you are at Orchard MRT station. It is also a high traffic MRT station and part of the underground link bridge to many shopping centres.

ION Food Opera
Eating at a food court is always a good idea to enjoy a variety of food options at a reasonable price. This is Food Opera at Ion shopping centre and their address is 2 Orchard Turn, #b4 - 03 / 04, Singapore 238801. You can find them easily even though they are in basement 4. The food court is clean and nicely decorated and you can sit at any table as you wish. There is no need to worry about touting. It is also easier to try out different types of food in a food court setting.

Takashimaya lion statues
Outside Takashimaya/Ngee Ann City at Orchard road, there is a huge space in front of the main entrance. This entrance is guarded by 2 lion statues, similar to those you see in most Asian countries. These lion statues act like a guardian, bring peace and prosperity and many other symbolic references, depending on who are the owners. You will always see a minimum of 2 lion statues, 1 male and 1 female. The male lion statue will be holding a ball and the female lion statue will be holding her cub.

Candlelight Concerts X Hans Zimmer
#meetsingapore
My fifth Candlelight Concert last Wednesday evening was held in the exquisitely restored early Gothic styled 19th century Chijmes Hall, a venue which I had always desired to enter for any artsy-fartsy event ⛪️
Whilst being led into the dark chapel boasting enviable high ceilings and detailed stained glass windows, we were awestruck by the beautiful illumination of several hundreds of candles lined along the sides & around the centre-stage 😍 even before our eyes grew accustomed to the steady flickering glow of the candlelight 🔥
For slightly over an hour, we were treated to a multi-sensory musical experience with classic pieces of Hans Zimmer, performed masterfully by the Vocalise String Quartet 🎶
Music is undeniably sound healing for the mind & soul.
Ya Kun local coffee
Address - Ya Kun Kaya Toast Coffee Shop, Clarke Quay Central Shopping Centre, 6 Eu Tong Sen Street, #01-31, Singapore 059817
Craving for a taste of something authentically Singaporean? Ya Kun serves local delights that are reminiscent of the type of fare our forefathers used to have back in the day. The classic pairing of coffee, or kopi, and runny soft-boiled eggs is totally comfort food. I also recommend ordering the signature kaya toast, a sweet paste filling paired with butter in crispy toasted bread. Delicious!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Outpost Hotel Deluxe pool view room
#meetsingapore
I got myself an unlocked swimming pool view for my deluxe room which has 24 sqm of space. There are no bathtubs available at The Outpost Hotel and this is a pity. But you have a rooftop swimming pool to make up for this. I feel both The Barracks Hotel and The Outpost Hotel have similar designs. If both hotels have the same price, I would pick The Barracks Hotel. My deluxe room has a dry and wet toilet and the shower area is spacious. There are some special tea blends in the room and I recommend the Palawan Dawn which has apple hues. I like that there is a water filter for drinkable water located at the basin. It just makes things much easier.
Village Hotel Sentosa Pool kids zone
#meetsingapore
From all their swimming pools setup and activities, you can tell that it is a family oriented hotel and even us locals are checking in with our children. Their children's activities consist of many DIY art classes and they also have their own Village Hotel Mascot, Vin & Vee. Some of the free classes such as tote bag painting are popular. So you will need to make a booking ASAP. At the swimming pools area, there are many swimming floats provided as well. Since there are no requirements to book any swimming pool time slots, you are welcome to stay at the pool all day. Have lotsa of fun! Don’t forget the sunblock.
The Outpost Hotel Pool greenery
#meetsingapore
There are plenty of lush gardens surrounding all 4 pools at The Outpost Hotel. The entire hotel area is like a lush forest and definitely has the resort feel. If you go up to the top level for instance at the rooftop pool, you will see lush greenery with all the swimming pools. You also can always spot the gardeners at work, tendering to the plants. Even the pools are also surrounded by greenery. You can tour one round at the lazy river and you will feel like you are in a secluded river flowing down the stream. Sentosa island is a great place for staycation and there are so many different types of hotels to choose from.
Great Lunch @ Sofitel Sentosa
We have an excellent meal at The Cliff during our staycation at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. If you are lucky you can get a seat that facing the sea with gorgeous view! There are lots of peacock walking around too…they are very friendly too!
This place are crowded on holidays, so it is best to make a reservation in advance. Once you order then speed of meal serving is quite ok. The service crew are quite friendly and attentive. Must try their grilled lamb chop, it’s just amazing! Can’t wait to go back for more!
Great place to have brunch or lunch for the weekend with a great view!

Sofitel Spa
Address - Sofitel Spa, Sofitel Sentosa Resort And Spa, 30 Artillery Avenue, Singapore 099957
Sofitel Spa is the hotel-operated spa that is surprisingly not located within the same site as the hotel itself. Instead, in order to get to this place, guests need to arrange for a buggy transfer ride at the concierge desk, which could involve some waiting time.
Upon reaching here, we were warmly greeted by the counter staff, who offered us ginger tea. The facilities include hot pools and two swimming pools. The mud pool was closed during our visit as it was the pandemic. However, the place does need some sprucing up.

Classy stationery shop
Address - Typo Stationery Shop, Suntec City Shopping Centre, 3 Temasek Boulevard, #01-418, Singapore 038983
I love to come to this stationery shop to buy gifts to give to friends for Christmas! They always have quirky and witty designs or quotes in their items that make these very fun gifts. You can get things like water bottles, notebooks, mugs, even laptop covers too. But I would say these are not the cheapest and do inspect the items carefully as not all of them are of equivalent quality.

Famous brand from Japan
Address - Don Don Donki Japanese Supermarket, Novena Square 2 Shopping Centre, 10 Sinaran Drive, B1-01/85, Singapore 307506
Don Don Donki is actually a branch from the famous supermarket brand in Japan called Don Quijote. When this brand was ported onto Singapore shores, we were really excited as we would be able to enjoy Japanese quality groceries and other household items. I usually get their salmon sashimi dishes as they taste really good and are fairly affordable compared to restaurants. I also tried the chawanmushi that was pretty delicious too.

Lounging in the city
Address - Fairmont Gold Club Lounge, Fairmont Hotel, 80 Bras Basah Road, Singapore 189560
Given the excellent location of Fairmont Hotel in the heart of the city hall area, the club lounge enjoys amazing views of the city skylines. During our staycation, we managed to catch a beautiful sunset that transformed the skies into a paddle pop colour with pretty ombré hues. What a sight!
All lounge guests can enjoy both breakfast and evening cocktail spreads in the privacy of the lounge space. Best way to experience a stay here.

Shopping for parties
Address - SKP Supply Store, Junction 8 Shopping Centre, 9 Bishan Place, #04-05, Singapore 579837
This shop is a great place to stock up for your year-end Christmas parties as you can buy some of them in hulk and save quite a bit of money. I use the Christmas decor mainly as table decorations since their designs are quite nice. You can also find other party items like balloons, wrapping paper and ribbons, as well as disposable cutlery and utensils for guests to use. It’s a one-stop shop for all your large gathering needs!

Cafe in A Work Space
Usually, we will spot a cafe in a mall, along the streets at a shop house or situated on its own as a stand alone shop, but you definitely won't think of a cafe inside a working space. However, this is true for a cafe called the Coexist cafe inside the working capitol (a work space office) at 1 keong saik street. This is pretty unique! When you enter the Cafe, you smell the nice aroma of coffee. I order a hot latte and it was easy and light to drink, and for $6 a cup, it is not too expensive. Food wise I ordered a chilli crab burger and a Har cheong gai burger. They ran out of burger bun and substituted it with bread. Because of that, I felt the burgers weren't that amazing but it was still ok to eat. The cafe is open everyday, so give it a visit if you need some food and coffee.

Awesome Fitness Center @ W Singapore!
We just have a great stay with W Singapore! The room & the breakfast is just as great as always!
I wanted to highlight the facilities of W Singapore. Especially the FIT Gym, this elegant-designed and well-equipped fitness Center is really awesome! They have almost all the best workouts machine in the world, and it’s so clean and well maintained by the team! The swimming pool was huge and clean too, it’s always busy and crowded at time, but I guess everyone do enjoy the relaxing hip vibe that only can offer by W Hotel!
Can’t wait to be back again! Awesome facility and they really take great effort to maintain it!

The 4 pools at Village Hotel Sentosa
#meetsingapore
This swimming pools on level 3 are so amazing and beautiful. Altogether, there are 4 thematic pools shared between Village Hotel Sentosa and The Outpost Hotel. They are the lazy river, the children’s play pool, the main adventure pool whereby you can watch movies and join in water activities and then the Pamukkale pool. This Pamukkale pool is awesome, you will have a nice view of the sea beyond the Siloso beach and the pool has terraces like bali rice field or the real Pamukkale pool in Turkey. At night, you can get to see fireworks too, from the Wings of Time performance. So do request a room on level 3 so you can go to pools easily.
The Outpost Hotel rooftop pool
#meetsingapore
You have to visit the rooftop pool at The Outpost Hotel and it also has a bar attached to the pool. This is the 1-Altitude Coast right here and has amazing views. At the end of the pool nearer to the edge, there is a jacuzzi area and the DJ booth is there too. So you can expect loud music while you are here. It feels like mini MBS with the views and live music. The pool is some sort like a lap pool but nobody swims here most of the time. There are many guests holding a drink and half of their bodies are in the pool. The vibes are nice and from the pool, you can see Wings of Time at Siloso beach. I will return to The Outpost Hotel.
