The Garden With a Troubled History

#timetotravel#campingglamping #nationalpark #celebratewithtrip. #mytripblog #tripblazers. Lou Lim Ieoc Garden is a unique Suzhou-style garden, filled with beautiful greenery and tai-chi enthusiasts. It still feels like an oasis in a city where it is sometimes difficult to find remainders of traditional Chinese architecture. Entrance to the garden is free and there’s never-ending adventure to be had with its twists, turns, and small caves. Come and marvel at the beautiful red tiles of the main pavilion or at the extraordinary mixture of European and classic Chinese elements on its yellow facade. In Chinese, the garden is called Lou Kau (or Lou Cau) Garden and had an interesting past. It’s as if we live in parallel realities because the garden we know and love was actually linked to gaming, revolutions, and misfortune! All of this, connected to a Chinese merchant called Lou Kau.

Amongst the significant members of the Lous' family, Lou I loc was honorably known as the "Revolutionary Old Man". He was a perpetual supporter of Dr. Sun Yat-sen in Sun's revolutionary course and was highly received by Chiang Kal-shek during his visits to Taiwan at his sunset of life. In the early days, the long Sam Tong Pavilion was used for guest reception and subsequently converted into a library during 1938 to 1952, when Pui Ching Middle School rented the Lou Lim loc Garden to be its schoolhouse. Later on, long Sam Tong Pavilion was used by Leng Nam Primary School as classroom, later turned into the Floral and Faunal Specimens Room of Leal Senado (Municipal Council of Macao), the offices and warehouses of various government departments in 1980s. Over the years, the Pavilion had served for different historical purposes and its exterior had undergone purpose-based modifications. In 2010, the Pavilion went through large scale reconstruction to restore its original look.

Historical landmark in Bregenz, Austria

We didn't get into the museum. For some reason it is closed and there are no messages about it anywhere. Outside, both the tower and the old town are very interesting. Worth a look. Overall, It is a beautiful place, surrounded with old streets and beautiful church. Peace is breathed in this area, the houses are very nice, some typical of the region☺️☺️ some tourist and locals said that the landmark of Bregenz were interesting with lots of exhibition about the historical development of the city.🦾🦾 #Brigenz #austrianstyletown #mytripblog

There is a nursing room and clean well maintained toilets. Nice small gift store at the exit with lots of orchid themed gifts. Little Talbot Island in JAX!

If you want a beach with less people then visit this place. You can have picnic and grill. It also has pavilions to rent and $5 per vehicle entry fee for the day. They have showers to rinse off in. You can also bring your beach chairs or beach tent to cover up yourself from the sun. There is a vending machine too if you want to buy some drinks near the public restrooms. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for shell hunting. Waves were small and beach was fairly shallow, so I would recommend for families with smaller children. #mytripblog

Lower Falls Recreation Site

​Lower Falls is the most popular destination on the Kancamagus Highway. It is a beautiful spot where the Swift River drops many feet over smooth granite rocks into a large pool. It is an ideal place to picnic, sun bathe, and swim. There is an 80 car parking lot, restrooms, and picnic tables with charcoal grills. This place is great if you want to get out of your car and have some stretching and a lil walking with a nice view. #mytripblog

The Grandfather of All Philippine Mountains

Mount Apo is the highest mountain in the Philippines. It is located in Davao, a city in Mindanao. It is for sure on the checklist of every mountaineers in our country. Prior to climb, you need to book ahead an event organizer. I recommend Kaplag Adventours, the tour guides are friendly and the meals they prepare are delicious. Rate is 6000 pesos per head; inclusions are all the necessary permit, pickup from airport to Jumpoff and complete meal for the 3 days, 2 night camp. There are many trails to choose from, you can discuss it with your organizer depending on your experience. You also need to secure a medical certificate to ensure that you are fit to climb. We opt for a challenging backtrail, entrance at Digos trail and exit at Sta. Cruz trail. Day 1: Paradiso ➡️ Junction ➡️ Baruring gamay ➡️ Baruring Dako ➡️ E-camp ➡️ Camp Gudi-gudi Day 2: Camp Gudi-gudi ➡️ Boulders ➡️ White Sand ➡️ Old crater ➡️ Lake Venado Day 3: Lake Venado ➡️ Century Tree ➡️ Sta. Cruz Trail What made our trail rough was that it poured all throughout our 2nd to 3rd day journey, so the trail is really muddy. And to top it up, there was an earthquake on the 3rd day. I suggest you need to check the weather advisory in advance. But for an adrenaline junkie, it made my experience more fun and memorable. Fall: Sunrise at Cadillac Mountain in Maine

Acadia is among the top ten most popular national parks in the United States, with more than 4 million visits a year. This is actually the second time I visited Cadillac Mountain. The first visit was in summer and the second one was in fall and I will definitely comeback while I’m in the US. This site is known for being the first location in the United States to see the sunrise. Getting There - Vehicle reservations for Cadillac Summit Road are required. Vehicle reservations are not required for any other areas of the park, or for visitors who enter the area by foot, bike, or taxi. Vehicle reservations only apply to private owners.
