Explore Bistrik Tower Ruins near Sarajevo
If you're planning a trip to Sarajevo, make sure you check out the Bistrik Tower ruins! To get there, take the Trebevic gondola airlift to the mountain peak, from here you can reach the abandoned bobsled track, follow that to the end and you'll find a path leading to these abandoned towers! Not only are they fun to explore, they're also rich in history! they were originally built as military fortresses before being abandoned for many years. They were then rebuilt into an astronomical observatory before being destroyed completely in the last war. #bosniaandherzegovina #sarajevo #ruins #abandoned #history

Breakfast like a local in Sarajevo
We stayed nearby the old town in sarajevo. Just 7mins walk to the old town. And found out this lovely local place for breakfast. The menu mostly meat and cooked the local way. You can eat it with the bread.
The also have onion soup that taste so good. The only thing I don’t like about this place (and almost all other restaurants in sarajevo) is that they allowed people to smoke inside the premise.

Azra Halepovic (Melbourne Australia) Sarajevo is a city of people with warm hearts
Balcan.. The past was not so kind with the Balcan.. Especially not with Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦...
People are amazing, kind... Walking through the streets and talking with people you can still feel the pain that left the past. If we want to want more about history and people leaving with it even in 21st century, Sarajevo is a must.
Try the famous kebab, coffee and talking with the people. Highly recommend.
