A weekend in Dongguan ~ 东莞

📌 From Guangzhou, Dongguan is a quick 30min train away plus another 15mins metro to Dongcheng station (where I stayed). 📸 Moon Bay Plaza is small but has some cool photo opportunities like the rainbow stairs and some hippos in the ground! It's very pretty at night too. 🍽 In this area I tried a great place called Veggie box (meat also available). The meals are decent. Close by there are many coffee shops, including Ma coffee. They can take a long time to make the drinks but they taste good. I got a coconut lemon tea. 🍸 A 10mins walk from here can bring you to a hidden gem with great cocktails. The bartender will ask what flavour you like and then make something suitable. Upstairs also has a couple of mahjong tables you can play. During the day it's a cafe. #staycation #咖啡馆#staycation

Hi, guys! Xiamen is very interesting city which offers a lot of options to spend your time and to get incredible impressions. To my mind the best really and must go place is Gulangyu. Enjoying its unique architecture and museums do not forget to try Gulangyu local food! It's awesome, I swear! And the local food of this small island is different from Xiamen part, no matter the names of dishes are the same. Here are several examples of delicious food we have tried there! Steam dumplings with crab meat. Buddha jumps over the wall - yellow soup, which had amazing taste and gives you energy boost thanks to special herbs and ultra high protein concentration. 📌 From Dongshankou 东山口 metro station, you can walk 10-20mins and come across so many cafes and restaurants. ☕️ There are so many to choose from and all have their own unique style. This one is personally one of my favourites. The space is quiet and there are multiple rooms. The coffee and cakes are great too! #甜品#咖啡馆
