🇸🇬The Beautiful Changi Airport✈️
#singapore
First thing that came into my mind about Singapore is definitely the world class airport- Jewel Changi. I always like to start my journey here as it gives me a lot of comfort and assurance knowing that I can rely on the airport staff with their efficiency and friendliness. That’s not all, Jewel Changi is an art itself with all the well thought architecture and delicate art installations. Stores layout are arranged nicely and it’s always a breeze to hang around here. Of course, I can never get sick of the biggest attraction in Jewel Changi - HSBC Rain Vortex. This place truly feels like home away from home. #exploresg #rediscoversg #rediscoversingapore #jewelchangi
🇸🇬Labrador Nature Reserve 💦🌊
#wheretogo
While in the Labrador Nature Reserve, we checked out the stone feature also known in Chinese as Long Ya Men that was originally a natural outcrop that stood in the water just off the shores of Labrador Nature Reserve. Red Beacon was just a stone's away with the eye-catching red color that used to serve as a navigational guide for mariners. It was so cool to be able to see all these replica of landmark that was playing important roles in the past.

🇸🇬 HortPark-A Garden Wonderland 🌱🍃
#wheretogo
We were greeted by a floral runway at HortPark – a unique park that brings together nature appreciation and gardening-related activities. There is also a beautifully done visitor services center. HortLawn was so huge and great for kids to run around. There is also a beautiful spiral staircase that led us to the open terrace below. The open views were so so amazing. It calmed me down and my troubles went away while sitting here, enjoying the breeze and looking at the wide green field.

🇸🇬 Terrace Garden: It feels like Spring 🌸
#wheretogo
Stumbled upon this peaceful garden while trekking towards Forest Walk. The entrance of this particular garden was very unassuming and we had to pay attention to it. However, once we walked further up the staircase, what welcomed us was a full bloom of purple, pink flowers. I guess the Lady Luck was with us! It was very dreamy to look at such scenic landscape of the garden.

🇸🇬 Alkaff Mansion-Historical building
#wheretogo
We spotted Alkaff Mansion while doing our walking trail. It is colonial bungalow built by the prominent Alkaff family in 1918. This historic building now houses wildseed café and we saw many people were having brunch and coffee there. The ambience looked wonderful, it has beautiful outdoor lawn with a gazebo, and European-styled fountains. It's a nice old building with a classic touch.

🇸🇬 O'Coffee Club Jewel Roastery for me-time
#wheretogo
Needed somewhere quiet to catch up some work stuff and decided to pop into O'Coffee Club Jewel Roastery. It’s located at a cozy corner at the Level Three of Jewel Changi. I could definitely smell the strong aroma of coffee that’s awakening. They serve an extensive menu of Western food with their fluffy pancakes and waffles being the signatures which almost every table has one order of those. This is a great place to hangout with friends or with family. There are ample of seating and they are spaced out nicely. Highly recommended ! #timetotravel #rediscoversg #rediscoversingapore #singapore #foodie
🇸🇬BOUNCE Singapore-Have some massive fun!!
#wheretogo
This place is great for team building activities! It’s a multi-activity area consisting of trampoline based activity in the heart of Orchard Road, accessible by Somerset or orchard MRT. It’s also a popular place for kids to play and burn off their energy where we could see many kids are bouncing here and there. The very good thing about this place is that they have many staff during each session to look out for the participants and ensure their safety. The staff is very very experienced and friendly to demonstrate some amazing skills and teach us some basics. We had a really fun time! #timetotravel #rediscoversg #rediscoversingapore #singapore #activesg
Things To Do in East of Singapore
East is my favourite area in Singapore, there are so many instagramable places and local food to explore 🤍
I would say best part of Singapore can be found at East side, from cultural experience to culinary adventure! And i love how the residential are very low density at East area and no sky scrapper, still look like very old style of Singapore..
🏷 Save this for your future visit to Singapore!
Things to do in East of Singapore:
1. Explore neighbourhood - instagramable spot to visit: Koon Seng Road Pastel Houses, Joo Chiat Community Center, Red House, street art mural.
2. Try local dishes: Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Rice Dumpling and Nyonya Kuih ( My fav: Lapis Sagu & Kueh Salat)
3. Experience the culture: Check out Kim Choo and Rumah Bebe
4. Cafe hopping: Baba Chew Cafe, Chin Mee Chin, Cafe Natsu, Tigerlily Patisserie, Bird of Paradise Gelato
5. Picnic at East Coast
6. Stay at Peranakan inspired Boutique Hotel: my choice would be @hotelindigosingapore @ihghotels
Is East side of Singapore your favourite part as well?!

Beautiful Gardens in Singapore
Called this Garden City as my forever home 🇸🇬 sharing with you my favourite Gardens in Singapore. I think it’s my nature like to visit gardens, for my inspiration..
Save this post for your future visit to Singapore 🤍
Can’t believe took awhile to collate all the photos for this video, also can’t believe that i’ve visited those Gardens for many many times 😅
1. Gardens By The Bay being the Best Garden, best time to visit, late afternoon until evening to enjoy Supertree light show. If you like night photography stay until late! The ambience blue light at night look amazing too! 👍
2. Singapore Botanic Garden being the Most Romantic in my opinion, i guess because of the feel you get from classic English Garden. Lake with swan, colonial style pergola and big canopy trees.. It’s being Singapore’s 1st UNESCO World Heritage Site too! National Orchid Garden is worth to visit, check out New Orchidetum includes misty cool house & ‘Secret Ravine’ that mimics mountain forests. Best time to visit very early morning or late afternoon.
3. Most Iconic goes to Jewel Changi Airport, need no introduction for this place. Go and check out their Canopy Park where they have Hedge Maze, Mirror Maze, Sky Nets and many more! Best time to visit i would say in the evening 7-8pm as you can enjoy the light show at HSBC Rain Vortex.
4. For moody portrait photography you might want to check Jurong Lake Garden. There is a grassland with Lone tree sculpture. The Lone Tree is made from recycled iron reinforcement bars salvaged from old park pathways. This sculpture is inspired by the industrial origins of Jurong. Best time to visit 6.30-7am, you’ll get the best light on sunny day.

Singapore National Orchid Garden Coolhouse
Love snapping picture at Singapore Botanic Garden especially at National Orchid Garden.. it’s such a beautiful place for afternoon stroll with family 🥰
Orchid is Singapore’s National Flower. Vanda Miss Joaquim was chosen as Singapore's national flower from among 40 other contenders, including some 30 orchids. For its resilience and year-round blooming quality, it was chosen on 15 April 1981 to represent Singapore's uniqueness and hybrid culture.
Tropical Montane Orchidetum
The tropical Montane Orchidetum simulates the experience of ascending through a tropical montane forest and showcases a diversity of orchids and other plants (e.g. bromeliads, gingers, tropical rhododendrons, gesneriads (and magnolias) from the rich low to high-elevation montane forest. Each of the display houses within the Orchidetum has been expanded beyond their original size, increasing by almost threefold the combined display area.
The Sembcorp Cool House
They preserved part of the original 260m2 frame of the original cool house and curated the orchid collection in the Cool House according to five biogeographical regions – Malesia, Continental Southeast Asia and South Asia, Australasia, Afrotropics and the Neotropics.
The Sembcorp Cool House is designed to emulate a high elevation montane forest, which exists at altitudes of 1,000m to 2,000m, and with a surrounding temperature of 16 to 23 degrees Celsius. Researchers will be able to study rare orchids that are naturally found only at higher elevations, such as such as Cymbidiums (also known as Boat Orchids), Dendrochilums (also known as Chain Orchids), Cyrtochilums and Phragmipediums (also known as Slipper Orchids). This will greatly benefit taxonomic and floristic research, as researchers will be able to grow rare species, before identifying and documenting them at a later stage when they flower.
Approximately 1,000 orchid species and hybrids are exhibited in the Cool House, together with new varieties from other plant families beyond orchids, an increase from the previous collection of 350 orchid species. Also growing among the orchids, are collections of carnivorous plants, begonias that have characteristic shimmering leaves that help them to thrive in areas with low light levels.

Sling & Swim at Raffles Hotel Singapore
I’ve been always amazed with iconic & historical landmark in Singapore, Raffles Hotel.
It’s always been my favourite, the place and the vibes is just speaks luxury, classy and elegance!
I had a change to experience Sling and Swim @raffleshotelsingapore 🤍
Experience lounge poolside with Raffles Hotel's iconic Singapore Sling in hand and my satay fried rice lunch..
I love the feel of doing nothing at the pool side and enjoy the swimming in this iconic hotel. And not forgetting their impeccable services from all their servers.
During my sling & swim experience, it was raining and the servers were so nice helping me with the umbrella to the covered area and re-arrange my set up after the rain has stopped.
Talking about Singapore Sling.. If you don’t know the iconic drink, The Singapore Sling, widely regarded as the national drink, was first created in 1915 by Raffles bartender Ngiam Tong Boon.
About Raffles Hotel
Raffles Hotel is a British colonial-style luxury hotel in Singapore. It was established by Armenian hoteliers, the Sarkies Brothers, in 1887. The hotel was named after British statesman Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore.

SMOKING HOT COFFEE
Smoking Hot Coffee
We stumbled upon this quaint cafe smokinghotcoffee.sg nestled at a inconspicuous corner of Esplanade Mall, within the lifestyle concept store of furniture, fashion, cafe – Smoke Signature.
We love the industrial chic vibe of the cafe with eclectic decor featuring unique stylish furniture pieces such as the modern looking Beetles chair and vintage couch.
We tried their Signature Charred Smoke Latte and Rose Latte. The gorgeous latte art just makes everything better!
Charred Smoke Latte - Double espresso, steam milk, charcoal extract
Rose Latte - Double espresso, steam milk, rose extract
This lovely quiet cafe is certainly a perfect hideaway to laze your weekend away.

Birthday staycation for the Queen 👸 part 2
#exlporesgtogether #momentssg #birthday #staycation #rediscoversingapore #rediscoversg #singapore #exploresgtogether #explorersgtogether
Following up from one of my previous post which featured Fullerton as an advanced 🎂 celebration for a special person, this staycation was meant for the actual celebration itself 😚🤗 the dates which we booked were a perfect timing as that time heightened alert just got lifted up ☺
Heard rave reviews of Shangrila and was interested to see its unique architecture so decided to give it a try! got the package that comes with breakfast and lunch for 2 pax together with garden wing room. Checking in was pretty smooth and the staff was really helpful in pointing out directions and answering all our questions. And this is also probably the first time a staff wished happy birthday to the 👸 during check in, which is truly a nice gesture. Appreciate the birthday cake 🎂 and card in the room too!
Loving the balcony for the room to get some fresh air (no squirrels when I was there 🤣). The room overlooked the pool which can be seen quite clearly despite the low floor. Very clean and neat rooms with some dried fruits as welcome amenity. Also what I love about garden wing was that there are plants and flowers growing by the balconies, so that the hotel doesn't look drab and concrete, and there are nice little gardens to take a good stroll 😊
Glad that there was a choice of ala carte buffet or just the ala carte items themselves so we picked the buffet which was soo good 👍👍👍 wide variety of food and taste good and fresh 😋 fortunately we checked in earlier before lunch but too bad we went abit late so we got limited time to lunch. Breakfast have variety and taste alright too! Service was pretty brisk as well.
Went on a weekday but was surprising hard to book slots, so picked the first morning slot which was very peaceful. Glad that there is a lifeguard on duty even in the early morning 😅 Beware the pool is 2.5m at deepest end 😅 Gym is 24h which is great and doesn't require booking when I went that time, and it is really big!
will probably come back to try Valley Wing with their lounge and Tower wing if there is a chance!

Finally trying out this hotel that many people have been talking about!🤗
Thankfully the staff were kind enough to let me register first and then they called me thereafter when my room was ready to collect the 🔑 😊 because the check in queue was crazy which snaked all the way out of the lobby due to the holidays 🤯
My room was decent apart from some minor wear and tear which didn't affect my stay too much and some 🐜, and my phone seems to be unable to call outside despite it being switched on unless I put speaker mode 🥲 otherwise it was clean overall esp the beds 🙂 Loving the red mattress by the window side to relax and take in the city view! (at least mine wasn't too close to buildings unless some of the hotels I stayed in)
Managed to book a slot for the pool and gym earlier before the check in crowd came to use them later😅 but there were still a considerable number of ppl, and had to really watch out for kids while swimming the lap 🤣 Staff was really kind to let me book 2 slots and choose to go either later as there were dark ☁️ threatening to 🌧 fortunately the skies cleared up for my first choice slot. Gym was well equipped than expected but a bit squeezy 😅
Dinner was boss bee hoon (their signature) and satay which were more reasonably priced than the other food on the menu; does make me feel like a boss eating zichar restaurant style 😎

Indulgence at Valley Wing
This was our first time staying at the Shang and it certainly left us yearning for more!
After we were checked in, we plonked ourselves on the couches for our afternoon tea and henceforth began our boozy staycation. I mean, everyone is here for the free-flow Veuve Cliquot, right?
The afternoon tea was a good balance of sweet and savoury treats. The breakfast was delish with quite a good selection (caviar!), though the evening canapé fell short of my expectations.
The room, albeit dated, was incredibly spacious for two of us. Once we entered the room, a welcome card, along with a plate of fruits and chocolates greeted us. It was a nice personalised gesture from the hotel. The King bed was god sent, and cushioned with fluffy pillows. The bathroom was huge and equipped with a tub! Bathroom toiletries were mainly L’occitaine (if that’s your thangggg 😏)
There was also a nespresso machine and a couple of sachet of tea. Everything you’ll need to have a comfy stay!
Definitely would love to return here for another stay, ideally for a special occasion!

Birthday staycation for the Queen 👸 part 1
#exlporesgtogether #fullertonhotel #staycationsofsg #staycation #birthday #rediscoversingapore #rediscoversg
stayed over the weekends in a renowned heritage hotel which has been my wish for a long time, even better when there was a special occasion to celebrate 🤗 was glad that despite the weekends and start of school holidays, got a 9am check in which I gladly accepted ☺
staff were friendly and patient with us and check in was fast too! we were done in just half hour 👍
Got the in room high tea to clear some dining credits because high tea was more expensive on weekends and we had no regrets! Got hot 🍫 as one of the drinks and it was the best decision ever since it came in a pot instead of just a cup 😋 the in room manager really wheeled the whole setup in without incident and was also friendly #respect💯
also used the iconic pool at night and in day to have both pretty day and night views overlooking Singapore River and surrounding monuments like Victoria Concert Hall. Tried out the free tours organised by the hotel and Fullerton Bay; honestly I preferred the Fullerton Bay Hotel tour
Food wise was normal but I love the cute cappuccino with the bear motif using chocolate powder 🧸🥰

#exlporesgtogether #workcation #hotelg #rediscoversingapore #rediscoversg #visitsingapore
workcations are now a thing because #covid and WFH also means work from Hotel and not just Home right? 🤣
very friendly staff who helped with check in and allowed us to go to our room earlier since there was an available room for us 🤗 pro tip: play the spot the difference game for 2 free drinks (who can resist free drinks esp when you can get red or white wine🍸😂)
only a small gym is available so just used it for a short while but doesn't matter to me since I am working most of the time 🥲😅
bought their set lunch since it was a weekday to go with the drinks..their 2 course set lunch menu changes everyday and it is so secret that only kitchen staff know what will be served on that day 😅 we had pork jowl and fish as mains, and chocolate tart as dessert and grapefruit salad as the appetiser. Food is sooo good! no fishy or gamey smell or taste, and the salad is refreshing while the tart is heavenly 😋

🇸🇬 Jacob Ballas Children's Garden 🪴 🛝
#singapore
Parents, this is the perfect spot for kids' weekend! There are several themed areas which kids can explore. Before entering, a cute map is given so that the little one can follow the trail. They can play with the interactive science tools too. Needless to say, the treehouse slides is the most popular spot among the kids! Parents just sit there watching them. What a pleasant Sunday morning. There is also a maze for kids to run around. It is pretty huge place to explore and play hence offering endless fun and learning opportunities. It’s also a great place to burn off their energy!

🇸🇬MICRO | bakery,Serene Center-Bread Heaven
#sgfoodies
Guys, if you have not tried Micro Bakery🥖, you are missing out big time! We wanted to have a breakfast before our morning walk nearby Botanics Garden and we decided on Micro Bakery at Serene Center to start our day. We got 3 items - Fig and Cream Cheese Ciabatta, Kanelbullar (Cinnamon bun) and an Apple Pie. We also had a long black and a hot chocolate. Upon the first bite into the Fig and Cream Cheese Ciabatta, I felt like I was in the bread heaven! 😇The texture was very chewy with the crispy shell, fig was sweet and paired well with the generous amount of cream cheese inside. We all agreed that this was our favourite out of the three. Of course, the rest was great too-Cinnamon bun wasn’t too sweet and we could taste a mild spiciness from the cinnamon. The bread were made fresh daily. Not forget to mention, we felt very welcomed as the ALL of their staff were very friendly and knowledgeable in terms of their bakes. They were so happily sharing with us the ingredients used in each bread and gave us recommendations. Good food, good mood-That’s the way to start the day! ❤️#singapore #rediscoversg #rediscoversingapore #foodie #sgfoodie

While on our way to Floral Walk at Hort Park, we passed by the Alexandra Arch. The structure is pretty interesting where it opens like a leaf over Alexandra Road. In the evening, the attractive colour-changing LED lights on the bridge is lit up and complement the dusk falling forming a spectacular sight. It is a stunning sight that I do not want to miss!

🇸🇬 Southern Ridges: Henderson Waves
#wheretogo
I gotta say-this bridge is a marvel! Finally we reached this easy, breezy walk after a long walk. This pedestrian bridge that comes in an award-winning, distinctive wave-like structure really lives up to its name. We reached there around 11.30 am and it was scorching hot under the sun. Despite that, we saw many birdwatchers camping on the bridge only to take the perfect pictures of various bird species.

🇸🇬Southern Ridges:Faber Walk and Faber Peak

After climbing all the way up through to the top of Marang Trail, we continued our walk on the mostly sheltered Faber Walk that led us to the peak of Mount Faber. We could see the cable cars transporting visitors across the islands and also could have a bird eye view of the southern part of Singapore and the Southern Islands. It was breathtaking!

🇸🇬Southern Ridges-Marang Trail 🌿
#wheretogo
We started from the eastern edge of the Southern Ridges by alighting at HarbourFront MRT Station and took Exit D, near Marang Road. The trail begins right after we came out of the station. It was pretty scenic but it is involve quite a lot of staircase which was good for training my thigh muscles! We saw many Flora and fauna and managed to spot the Rubber Trees and Angsanas which are very common in this area. We could also hear the loud chirping of cicadas upon entering the trail.

🇸🇬Keong Saik Road
#wheretogo
This is one of my favourite hood to hang out in Singapore. One thing that’s practically unmissable is the the stark building with red detailing. Keong Saik area is filled with many bars and eateries. I guess that’s because Keong Saik Road used to be a red-light district prior gentrification. There are also many hidden graffiti and wall murals. If you are in the area, look out for those interesting wall murals ! #timetotravel #singapore #rediscoversg #rediscoversingapore #barsingapore #barhopping
🇸🇬Boon Tong Kee-Legendary chicken rice!
#wheretogo
Had a dinner at Boon Tong Kee and it was my first time trying this popular chicken rice in Singapore. There was already a queue when we reached at 6 pm but it moved pretty quick, we waited for about 20 minutes for a table. It is also a tourists’ favourite as we also saw many tourists queuing. We ordered a few dishes and it was served fast ! Classic chicken rice done extremely well. Chicken was tender and delicious, especially paired with the ginger and chilli. But to me, the star of the show was the rice! It was so fragrant that I had to stop myself from ordering seconds. Another dish I would totally recommend getting is the Crispy Beancurd. It’s super soft on the inside and crisp outside, especially addictive when paired with the accompanying mayo. #rediscoversingapore #timetotravel #rediscoversg #singapore #foodie

Guys, you definitely have to check out this bar on Keong Saik road. No Sleep Club is one of the best in the cocktail world! The drinks are nothing short of magic! It was crowded on a Friday night and there were people kept coming to have a drink or two. The overall ambiance was great. I ordered a gin and tonics with Monkey 47 and it was well balanced. The bartenders were outstanding. They made all the cocktails in front of us while chatting about the process. The service was so friendly and attentive. It’s a Great place to chill over drinks. #timetotravel #singapore #rediscoversg #rediscoversingapore #barsingapore #barhopping
