Hongkong trip 2023
#hongkongtrip #exploresgtogether #explorehongkong #firsttrip Hong Kong was established as a colony of the British Empire after the Qing Empire ceded Hong Kong Island in 1841–1842. The colony expanded to the Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and was further extended when the United Kingdom obtained a 99-year lease of the New Territories in 1898. Hong Kong was briefly occupied by Japan from 1941 to 1945 during World War II. The whole territory was transferred from the United Kingdom to China in 1997. Hong Kong maintains separate governing and economic systems from that of mainland China under the principle of "one country, two systems".

Most Beautiful Mosques of Istanbul
it's a magical city. Known as the city of the 7 hills as well as Lisbon, sister cities, they have so much in common and at the same time so different from eachother ! 🤗
The beauty of the details inside and outside the mosques are so impressive, no one can deny it.
Apart from the most famous ones, I personally recommend:
- Suleymaniye Mosque 🕌 away from the crowds and with one of the best views of the city
- New Mosque (Yeni Cami) 🕌 just after Galata Bridge and near Spices Bazaar
- Ortakoy Mosque 🕌 smaller, authentic and not a single tourist inside
explore Istanbul, I lived 1 year there and it feels like I've seen so little yet ! an entire world in a city 🌍

Coloured sand Hua Hin Beach
Though Hua Hin does not match the more southern beaches of Thailand on the Andaman seaside for beauty and turquoise waters, Hua Hin is a great beach destination for an easy 3-hours easy drive from Bangkok to catch some clean air, enjoy the serene seaview, fresh seafood and lots of hip cafe and restaurants. You can enjoy relaxing vacation and still get a glimpse of the vibrant city here. It’s understandable why many locals choose Hua Hin as their holiday destination of choice. Close enough to Bangkok to visit for a day should one wish yet still retaining a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended for solo travel, couple and family.
The sea tends to be shallow and child friendly for the most part and at low tide the white crystal sand stretches for miles in a wide strip along the coast. The beaches are normally a hive of water sports activity, like jet skis, fun banana boat rides, kiteboarding, ponyriding (including Thai massages) along its seafront and stretches of sand where there is nothing but relaxing and soaking up the rays. It's usually quite during week days, and lively during weekends and long holidays. Be sure to also check out the nature trail, mongrove and night market, Hua Hin Railwaya Station, Suan Son, Khao Takiep... or a short drive to Pranburi for breakfast and stroll fishermarket.
Most reviews would rate Hua Hin beach pollution among one of the top, but to our surprise too, it has really leveled up. White sandy beach, clear water and little sea animals in our every walk. Pleasant beach vacation, indeed! 🌊🐚🐠🪸🦀💙⛱️

Crystal Bay - Nusa Penida☀️
Crystal Bay is a stunning beach with crystal-clear waters. It is the perfect spot for sunbathing, relaxing, swimming and snorkelling in the area. The beach’s atmosphere is absolutely peaceful, it is not a touristic destination on the island.
If you love snorkelling this place is wonderful. It has great coral reefs and marine life. It is very easy to see turtles and if you are lucky enough you might see manta rays.
The only drawback in Crystal Bay is that it is not well maintained, and the shore is full of garbage. It is a pity because it could be the perfect paradise.
Apart from that, Crystal Bay has a few local beach bars selling snacks, drinks and Indonesian food. If you consume something from the bar you can use the chairs and tables for free which is very convenient.
One of the highlights in Crystal Bay are the sunsets. I experienced stunning sunsets the evenings that I went there. There are full of colours, they are totally magical!
If you are travelling to Nusa Penida, this hidden paradise should be on your plans!

Malaysia is one of the countries in Asia, there are different kinds of religious people living here such as Buddhists, Muslims, Hinds. This Batu caves is specifically a holy place for the people Hindu religious people. It's located not so far from Kuala Lumpur City, such a beautiful atmosphere here. Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen Temple
Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is one of my favourite temples in Bangkok. The entire compound is stunning, with a rich cultural heritage, remarkable architecture and tranquil atmosphere.
One of the highlights is the breathtaking pagoda which is the most stunning spot that I have experienced in Thailand. The ceiling and the pagoda will mesmerise you. Both are incredibly beautiful!
Also, the big Buddha at Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is incredible, it is one of the largest that I have seen so far.
If you are exploring Bangkok, Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is a must-visit, it won’t disappoint you! Definitely it will give you a great escape from the bustling city.

🇩🇪 Munich - third largest city in Germany🇩🇪🍻
🌟Munich truly captures the essence of Bavarian charm while offering a delightful blend of rich history, cultural treasures, and modern attractions.
✅One of the highlights of my trip was 👣👣 strolling through the picturesque Marienplatz, the heart of Munich's downtown. This bustling square is adorned with stunning architecture, including the magnificent New Town Hall with its iconic Glockenspiel.
⤴️For those seeking a deeper understanding of Munich's history and culture, the city is home to several world-class museums and art galleries. The Munich Residenz, a magnificent palace complex, houses the Bavarian kings' former royal apartments and an extensive collection of art and artifacts.
🍻🍺The beer gardens scattered throughout the city offer a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, where locals and tourists alike gather to enjoy a refreshing brew and soak in the lively ambiance.
🔝The top five attractions- Marienplatz🔝
1. New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus)
2. Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus)
3. Mariensäule (Mary's Column)
4. St. Peter's Church (Peterskirche)
5. Shopping and Cafés: the square is home to several charming cafés and restaurants where you can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, or savor traditional Bavarian cuisine while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.
✅✅Overall, Munich's downtown area exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a place where history and modernity seamlessly blend, where cultural treasures and gastronomic delights await at every corner. The city's warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with its stunning attractions, made my trip an unforgettable experience.

Kyrgyzstan - The Switzerland of Asia
Not many people even know where it is located 🔍
Surrounded by China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, it is one of the best well kept gems of Central Asia. 🤫
A beautiful country with outstanding landscapes and a whole different culture to experience.
On top of that, is mega safe and ultra cheap 🤑💸.
I spent only 150 euros in 10 days traveling (flight excluded) and did so much every day, food, party, drinks, taxis, hikes, hitchhikes, accomodation and more...🤩
Here goes the top places you can't miss when visiting:
1 - Issyk Kul Lake (explore from the south, there are beautiful traditional Yurts where you can stay, chill and swim at the salt lake)
2 - Altyn Arashan (for amazing hikes and incredible landscapes)
3 - Karakol a tactical city (yet very authentic), to stop and plan where to go next while exploring around
4 - Jeti Oguz (for the amazing red mountains and the old Ex Sovietic Resort Ruins)
5 - Naryn (countryside region with spectacular views)
💡tip: don't spend too much time in Bishkek, not much to do in the city, go as quick as you can to Nature !!

Bo’ao Buddhist Temple
This stunning buddhist temple is located in the town of Boao, Qionghai city, on Hainan island. It is a must-see attraction for those interested in Buddhism and Chinese culture.
The temple is situated in a beautiful natural spot, surrounded by mountains and facing the sea. The environment is so nice, peaceful and serene.
I was struck by the impressive statue of Guanyin, the goddess of mercy. Visitors can make offerings of incense, flowers, fruits…
I absolutely recommend a visit to Bo’ao Buddhist Temple for anyone living or visiting Hainan island. It is definitely a nice place to explore and learn about Chinese culture while enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Kelingking Beach 🤍
Kelingking beach, also known as T-Rex Bay, is one of the most famous spots in Nusa Penida.
The beach is surrounded by steep cliffs with stunning turquoise blue water and white sand. The views are incredibly amazing, absolutely breathtaking!
There are many people going there to take pictures at the viewpoint but only a few of them are able to descend the narrow path to the beach, which it is totally worthy.
Once you get to the beach I don’t recommend swimming there, it is not safe at all due to the strong current and tides, but you can enjoy the nice views!

📸 Wonderful day trip-Cotai Strip Macau🇲🇴
🔝 I started my day by visiting the Venetian Macao, which is a massive resort that is home to canals, gondolas, and a replica of St. Mark's Square. I spent a few hours exploring the Venetian, and I was impressed with the scale and detail of the resort. I also took a ride on one of the gondolas, which was a unique experience.
➡️ The Londoner is a luxurious hotel that is modeled after London. I had lunch at one of the hotel's restaurants, and the food was delicious. I also took a walk around the hotel, and I was impressed with the architecture and design.
⏭️ My last stop of the day was the Parisian Macao. The Parisian is a resort that is modeled after Paris. I spent a few hours exploring the resort, and I was impressed with the Eiffel Tower replica.

🏖️PANGLAO ISLAND🇵🇭
🧉🌎From Siqiuijor to Panglao islan with Jet set boat🚤 and price was 💲650Php.⏲️ It will leave island at 8:20am and arrive at Tagbilaran port around 10;15am. 🚖Don't take jeepnes or taxy right there, they will charge you a lot. Walk 5 min to exit of port station and you will find more tryciles or motors to drive you with cheaper price. I took trycile to jeepnees station (10min, less than 2km) 20Php and than jepnee to Panglao 40Php (30 min ride).
📍 Located just off Bohol Island🇵🇭 (the Philippines' largest), Panglao is home to pristine beaches and luxurious hotels🏖️. Panglao is very accessible to other natural wonders of Bohol such as the Chocolate Hills, the countless springs, rivers, falls and caves and the ever cute tarsier, the smallest primate in the world.
🛵🛵Rent a scooter and explore the island at your own. It will lead you to many unexpected spots on Panglao and Bohol. It will depend on your route but here are a few examples.
Day 1: explore Panglao island: 🛵🛵
🏖️🏖️My favorite beach is Alona Beach. You can find plenty 🍻🍹bars or a shop around the beach and at evening it’s full of entertainment. La familia Italian restaurant is great place to have lunch/dinner. Or if you want eat at the Alona beach I would recommend Pyramid restaurant. During the day make sure to check Panglao Watchtower and⛪ St. Augustine Parish Church,🏖️ Doljo beach, 🏖️Panglao Beach (no bars), Hinagdanan Cave, Bee farm.
Day 2: Bohol Island🛵🛵
Chocolate Hills, Butterfly farm, Tarsier sanctuary, Man made forest, on the way back you can also see a Shiphouse, Saint James Church..
There are so many beautiful Bohol tourist spots, destinations and adventurous activities to enjoy that you can spend an entire week, I have stayed for 4 days.

Villa stay in Ubud, Bali!
If you’re looking for a quiet stay with friends, as a family or couple with private pool then this place might just be on your list. The villa staff leave you to your own thing and, although they do not interact with you like a ‘hotel’, they cook your breakfast in the villa in the morning, with a slip you’ve ticked the day before. The villa provides basic bath soap and shampoo, towels, toothbrush and it has cooking amenities if you wish to cook dinner or snacks for yourself. The hotel also offer massages in the villa for an additional price and the breakfast basket in the pool was also offered for an additional price. The hotel doesn’t offer laundry services but there’s a laundry across the street.
The villas are approximately 20 minutes walk from Seminyak beach, where you’ll find great vibes of an evening on the beach with music and great food.

✅The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral🇵🇭
🌟🌟Very nice place to see the old history of Cebu! 🇵🇭
⛪Officially known as the Metropolitan Cathedral and Parish of Saint Vitalis and of the Immaculate Conception (dedicated to Mary, under her title, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and to Saint Vitalis of Milan), is the ecclesiastical seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cebu in Cebu, Philippines. Cebu was established as a diocese on August 14, 1595. It was elevated as a metropolitan archdiocese on April 28, 1934, with the dioceses of Dumaguete, Maasin, Tagbilaran, and Talibon as suffragans. Before being raised as a primatial ⛪church in Cebu, the church was one of the first churches in the Philippines🇵🇭 (besides the Basilica del Santo Niño) dedicated to St. Vitalis and built near the fort in April 1565 by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi.
🚧Construction of the cathedral was halted many times over the centuries due to lack of funds. It was not completed until the early 1900s. It was partially destroyed by Allied bombings during World War II 💣before being rebuilt in the 1950s. Notice that its squat shape and thick walls help to protect damage from typhoons and other natural disasters.
📍Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral is in the San Roque neighborhood in the southeastern part of the city.
🚌Ride a bus or jeepney to the Plaridel St. stop, which is just west of the church⛪. Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral is a must-visit 🌟 for those interested in Cebu’s cultural heritage🇵🇭.
Visit nearby sights, such as the 1️⃣Minor Basilica of the Holy Child,2️⃣ the Plaza Independencia and 3️⃣the University of Cebu.

The oldest Church in Cebu–Santo Nino Basilica
✅Interesting to visit and see. The place is rich in history and cultural heritage!
⛪The Basílica Menor del Santo Niño de Cebu 🇵🇭 (Minor Basilica of the Holy Child of Cebú), is a basilica in Cebu City in the Philippines that was founded in 1565 by Fray Andrés de Urdaneta and Fray Diego de Herrera. It is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, allegedly built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú was found during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi. ✝️The image of the Child Jesus is the same presented by Ferdinand Magellan to the chief consort of Rajah Humabon on the occasion of their royal Baptism to Roman Catholicism on April 14, 1521. The image was found by a soldier named Juan de Camuz forty years later, preserved in a wooden box, after Legazpi had razed a local village. When Pope Paul VI made the church a basilica in 1965, he declared it to be "the symbol of the birth and growth of Christianity in the Philippines. The present building was completed from 1739–1740 and was designated by the Holy See as the "Mother and Head of all Churches in the Philippines. 🇵🇭
📍How to get there:
It is located in a block beside D. Jakosalem Street, Osmena Boulevard, P. Burgos Street, and the Plaza Sugbo where the chapel of Magellan’s Cross is at. Take a ride on a Mybus from Mactan Cebu to SM Cebu City. From there, ride a jeep with the route code 12I or 10M. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Basilica del Santo Nino.
⏲️This religious landmark is an all-year-round destination. It is open daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
🌟Well worth visiting✅✅
