Best Steak and Lamb in Singapore!
SAVE THIS for the world’s greatest butcher Dario Cecchini joins Mondrian’s Bottega Di Carna to create the last word in vibrant modern italian! Officially open for reservations, Bottega di Carna is firing up the dining scene as Dario Cecchini, hailed by the New York Times as the ‘world’s greatest butcher’ and star of Netflix’s ‘Chef’s Table,’ joins forces with Mondrian Singapore Duxton’s passionate chefs.
Created by a maverick who has cooked for everyone from Anthony Bourdain to Elton John to King Charles III, Bottega Di Carna is a celebration of Cecchini’s commitment to flavour, showcasing classic and unexpected cuts as pieces of art, going back to the future of crudos and charcuterie, creative handmade pasta, fired steaks and fish, and bold progressive wines.
We sampled their Stockyard Ribeye 280g which is cooked in Dario’s wood fired grill and all their cuts are dry rubbed with Dario’s signature salt. It offers a symphony of flavors: the savory umami of perfectly seasoned beef and the smoky allure of the grill. We also tried their Lamb Cutlets, grilled to perfection. It’s tender and juicy, with a golden-brown crust that’s both crispy and flavorful.
Expect craftsmanship and a playful gastronomic experience, perfect for long lunches and fun-filled dinners, where tableside service and trolleys add theatre in the light- filled space that overlooks the Mondrian’s garden.

Semi-Arch Design Cafe: The Great Mischief
If you haven't heard, there's a Chic and Spacious Semi-Arch Design Cafe at National Gallery. This is a cool place not only to eat but chill and take some nice OOTDs shots back.
.
@thegreatmischief is located at the National Gallery, level 1. It's not hard to spot them as their colour palette for the theme is pretty nice in mostly pastel hues (and a slight contrasty red/pink). However, if you want to get the window seat... it is best to call up for bookings.
.
While the Beautiful atmosphere attracts, the food's aesthetics attracts too.
.
Together with a friend of mine, we've tried Eggy Faboda and The Grande. The Grande can be a fulfilling Breakfast platter or a light Brunch-time meal. The tasteful sausage along with your choice of Egg pairing, Sourdough with their homemade sauce comes together nicely and is very appetizing. I especially love the Kipfler potatoes served on the Dish. On the other hand, the ingredients; the mixture of Cannellini Beans, Tomatoes, Chorizo & Feta paired together with Sunny-side up Egg and Sourdough is an unique blend dish.
.
📍 Location:
National Gallery, #01-17, S178957

[Explore Singapore] Singapore Flyer
Singapore Flyer was officially opened in 2008, but I never really felt a need to experience it. I mean, isn’t it just a fancy way to name a Ferris Wheel? 🎡
I only got the opportunity to ride the Singapore Flyer about 13 years later, and only because I had a corporate pass.
The entire ride took about half an hour, and when you’re this high up in the air, it’s pretty long. But it gives you ample time to take all the pictures you want in all different angles of the Singapore backdrop, especially if you have the entire cabin to yourself (as pictured).
Surprisingly, we had a lot to talk about during our ride. We pointed to a landmark in the distance and shared our experience at the landmark, a la “oh look! That’s where we had our first staycation!”
So yes, it turned out to be a nice bonding session. Definitely 💯 for a date. 😉

Explore The Singapore Botanic Gardens
Ready to bask into the afternoon sun with me? Let’s come and explore Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Singapore Botanic Gardens (the Gardens). Here are few of my favourite spots on this green sanctuary in the middle of Singapore city.
1. The Bandstand
The octagonal gazebo known as the Bandstand was erected in 1930 and has retained its original form over the years with very notable landscape feature Yellow Rain Trees (Samanea saman) surrounding it. This spot is an iconic landmark of the Gardens.
2. Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim (Previously known as Vanda Miss Joaquim) Garden
Vanda Miss Joaquim is Singapore’s National Flower and Singapore is the only country to have a hybrid as her national flower. On this spot, the stems of Vanda Miss Joaquim tied to flower posts for support. The top sepal and petals are light pink, while the lower sepals are white. The angel-shaped lip in the middle is bright pinkish purple, with an orange centre that has reddish-purple spots.
3. Sun Garden
Who doesn’t love succulents?! It really give you a lot of summer mood for your photoshoot. The desert landscape displays succulents and other plants of arid regions that stand out from the surrounding lush green tropical foliage. Who knows that this unique garden is actually located at corner at Singapore Botanic Garden?!
4. Sundial Garden
Inspired by European style of formal garden, you can find this beautiful symmetrical garden at Singapore Botanic Gardens. As what the garden name is, there is a sundial at the central of garden. The sundial, despite having endured much wear and tear over the years, still retains its original glory and charm, spreading a sense of well-worn tranquility and presence around the beautiful garden.

Beautiful Gardens in Singapore
Called this Garden City as my forever home 🇸🇬 sharing with you my favourite Gardens in Singapore. I think it’s my nature like to visit gardens, for my inspiration..
Save this post for your future visit to Singapore 🤍
Can’t believe took awhile to collate all the photos for this video, also can’t believe that i’ve visited those Gardens for many many times 😅
1. Gardens By The Bay being the Best Garden, best time to visit, late afternoon until evening to enjoy Supertree light show. If you like night photography stay until late! The ambience blue light at night look amazing too! 👍
2. Singapore Botanic Garden being the Most Romantic in my opinion, i guess because of the feel you get from classic English Garden. Lake with swan, colonial style pergola and big canopy trees.. It’s being Singapore’s 1st UNESCO World Heritage Site too! National Orchid Garden is worth to visit, check out New Orchidetum includes misty cool house & ‘Secret Ravine’ that mimics mountain forests. Best time to visit very early morning or late afternoon.
3. Most Iconic goes to Jewel Changi Airport, need no introduction for this place. Go and check out their Canopy Park where they have Hedge Maze, Mirror Maze, Sky Nets and many more! Best time to visit i would say in the evening 7-8pm as you can enjoy the light show at HSBC Rain Vortex.
4. For moody portrait photography you might want to check Jurong Lake Garden. There is a grassland with Lone tree sculpture. The Lone Tree is made from recycled iron reinforcement bars salvaged from old park pathways. This sculpture is inspired by the industrial origins of Jurong. Best time to visit 6.30-7am, you’ll get the best light on sunny day.

Singapore National Orchid Garden Coolhouse
Love snapping picture at Singapore Botanic Garden especially at National Orchid Garden.. it’s such a beautiful place for afternoon stroll with family 🥰
Orchid is Singapore’s National Flower. Vanda Miss Joaquim was chosen as Singapore's national flower from among 40 other contenders, including some 30 orchids. For its resilience and year-round blooming quality, it was chosen on 15 April 1981 to represent Singapore's uniqueness and hybrid culture.
Tropical Montane Orchidetum
The tropical Montane Orchidetum simulates the experience of ascending through a tropical montane forest and showcases a diversity of orchids and other plants (e.g. bromeliads, gingers, tropical rhododendrons, gesneriads (and magnolias) from the rich low to high-elevation montane forest. Each of the display houses within the Orchidetum has been expanded beyond their original size, increasing by almost threefold the combined display area.
The Sembcorp Cool House
They preserved part of the original 260m2 frame of the original cool house and curated the orchid collection in the Cool House according to five biogeographical regions – Malesia, Continental Southeast Asia and South Asia, Australasia, Afrotropics and the Neotropics.
The Sembcorp Cool House is designed to emulate a high elevation montane forest, which exists at altitudes of 1,000m to 2,000m, and with a surrounding temperature of 16 to 23 degrees Celsius. Researchers will be able to study rare orchids that are naturally found only at higher elevations, such as such as Cymbidiums (also known as Boat Orchids), Dendrochilums (also known as Chain Orchids), Cyrtochilums and Phragmipediums (also known as Slipper Orchids). This will greatly benefit taxonomic and floristic research, as researchers will be able to grow rare species, before identifying and documenting them at a later stage when they flower.
Approximately 1,000 orchid species and hybrids are exhibited in the Cool House, together with new varieties from other plant families beyond orchids, an increase from the previous collection of 350 orchid species. Also growing among the orchids, are collections of carnivorous plants, begonias that have characteristic shimmering leaves that help them to thrive in areas with low light levels.

Sling & Swim at Raffles Hotel Singapore
I’ve been always amazed with iconic & historical landmark in Singapore, Raffles Hotel.
It’s always been my favourite, the place and the vibes is just speaks luxury, classy and elegance!
I had a change to experience Sling and Swim @raffleshotelsingapore 🤍
Experience lounge poolside with Raffles Hotel's iconic Singapore Sling in hand and my satay fried rice lunch..
I love the feel of doing nothing at the pool side and enjoy the swimming in this iconic hotel. And not forgetting their impeccable services from all their servers.
During my sling & swim experience, it was raining and the servers were so nice helping me with the umbrella to the covered area and re-arrange my set up after the rain has stopped.
Talking about Singapore Sling.. If you don’t know the iconic drink, The Singapore Sling, widely regarded as the national drink, was first created in 1915 by Raffles bartender Ngiam Tong Boon.

A Hidden Gem: Singapore's Arwaa Mansion
Weekend exploration with my baby 🥰
Woke up early in the morning and rewarded with beautiful sun rays ✨✨✨
Everyday is a blessing when you learn to appreciate everything around you 🤍
This might just be the closest you'll get to a castle in Singapore. Singapore's Arwaa mansion is a result of merging two pieces of property and sits on a land area of about 110,000 sq ft! For a gauge on how big that is, imagine 92 five-room HDB flats combined - that's how big it is.
Being on top of a hill and standing on such a large piece of land, this is Singapore's most expensive property and is estimated to be worth around $120 million.
Nassim Road is filled with gorgeous colonial mansions and the Arwaa mansion is no exception. Owned by Prince Jefri Bolkiah, a member of Brunei's royal family, the mansion is also known as the Prince Jefri Bolkiah house.
It's definitely a rare sight in Singapore!

Little Nyonya Experience at Rumah Kim Choo
Playing Little Nyonya @kimchookuehchang awhile ago. I’ve always want to do this for the longest time and finally managed to visit this place. Exploring their Peranakan kebaya collection. It’s really beautiful and i really love intricate detail on every kebaya.
Everytime i wear the traditional costume even though is not my own country costume i feel so proud, i feel like blending in to the local culture. Similar like when i wear Ao Dai in Vietnam and Hanbok in Korea. Even locals were praising us for wearing their traditional costume.
Step into the upper gallery of the Rumah Kim Choo shophouse in East Coast Road. Greeting you by a sight that evokes the feel of an old Peranakan house, or “rumah” in Malay.
About Rumah Kim Choo
Rumah Kim Choo shophouse in East Coast Road, which is filled with antiques and family heirlooms. Ranging from a bridal bed to Nonya kebayas, and ceramic ware to wooden cabinets that marry Chinese and European styles. The Rumah Kim Choo shophouse in 109 and 111 East Coast Road has a heritage gallery upstairs. And they sells Peranakan collectibles as well as traditional food such as the family’s signature glutinous rice dumplings.
The building dates back to around 1928. The late matriarch Lee Kim Choo who started the Kim Choo Kueh Chang rice dumplings business in 1945
Raymond Wong, the grandson is kebaya designer in the house. If you are keen to find yourself a kebaya that best represents your personalities, you can visit the boutique gallery for a free fitting session.
Special thanks to @KimChooKuehChang for this kebaya fitting session., it was such an eye opening experience on the exploration journey to Peranakan culture in Singapore.

Terminal 3 Changi Airport have various things to offer. One of it is a live stream of world cup in theathre like setting. Many people gather here and support their favourite team.

Most Expensive Chinese Restaurant
#meetsingapore most expensive chinese meal! Blue Lotus, located at Quayside Isle, Sentosa Island. It is near W Hotel. I had a great family time here, although the food is just so-so.
It is more like a place to chill and drink after work. Not worth to spend so much on the food. There are better places outside. Maybe the target market is for people who stay nearby. Rich people definitely won't mind to spend, but for me, I rather go to Skirt at W Hotel.
However, I love Blue Lotus vibe. Although it should be chinese, somehow the lanterns are similar with those in Danang. Bring me back to memories of my Danang trip.

Green Cafe in Singapore
#meetsingapore unique cafe concept inside of heritage garden! I have walked for quite a long journey inside to discover this place called Bees Knees and it is not the central but petite one. Although kinda disappointed, yet still ok to chill after walking so long.
Taxi can not reach here as the path has close, only for authorised vehicles to enter. In the end, you have to walk outside to get a cab. Discover new place and get lost. Moral of story is not to follow google map blindly.
At least, the price of food and drink here is still affordable and ambience is good. Blend in well with garden concept.

#meetsingapore colonial place with white house building and art gallery. Botanic Garden is one of Unesco place in Singapore that you should discover. Some diplomats and officials came here for a tour with guidance.
For tourists who love to explore greenery and tulips, you can come here to chill alone without any guided tour. It is also quite chilly place to hang around even if you just need walk, easy hike, and jog. Still very nice even if it is sunny because quite windy and pathway covered by tall trees, although still humid Singapore. Advisable to bring mosquito and insect repellent.

Kailash Parbat - A North Indine Cuisine
Little india is filled with rows of India restaurants that serves many authentic Indian food where most of these restaurants are also normally vegetarian especially when it comes to north Indian food.
We were on a hunt for Bhatura, it's a kind of fluffy dough where it is bigger than a normal poori. Mot many restaurants does it and can only be found in restaurants which serves North Indian food.
Kailash Parbat is one of the recommended restaurant to go for an authentic but yet reasonable meal.
Due to its reasonable prices, and really good food, this restaurants gets crowded as close as 6.30pm in the evening! So if you don't want to be disappointed, recommend to here early. You can find this restaurant right opposite of the popular mustafa mall!

History of Fort Canning Park
Fort Canning Park, an iconic hilltop landmark has witnessed many of Singapore’s historical milestones. The hill once sited the palaces of 14th century Kings and served as the Headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks. The decision to surrender Singapore to the Japanese on 15 February 1942 was also made on the hill, in the Underground Far East Command Centre, commonly known as Battle Box.

There is no queue in the afternoon for tea break around 3pm but queue will form up later on. Their best food for tea break is this bread top with butter and condense milk. Utensils are hidden in drawer under table.

City scape from Fairmont
Me and my tripfam were hoping to catch the fireworks from the area where national day parade will be held at. It is coming soon on 9th August so there is rehearsal on going. In that rehearsal there might be chance to catch fireworks.
Although in the end we did not manage to get it as there may be lesser budget or not time yet to release fireworks, we managed to get this beautiful peddle pop sunset from fairmont lounge. Also caught the hellicopter with singapore flag on it. City scape from this building is super nice facing marina bay, padang field, esplanade, and singapore central view.

Arts @ Lyf
My artistic side loves this place so much! There are so many cute and beautiful art pieces here, from interior to decorations. I love the unique chair, bears, greens, rabbits, lamps, ambience and vibe! This boutique hotel has improved. Stayed here last year but it wasn't this good.
I remember getting lost while looking for this place and greeted with so minimum decorations. However, vibe is still same. Artistic people like me can still enjoy the surrounding area with simple interior design and many decorations & arts!
