Giant head Sculptures in Sno
Sno is a small village of around 150 people. It’s located on the way from Tiblisi to Kazbegi. We feel like we were in Easter island when we stop by this village.
The sculptures are the work of one man, Merab Piranishvili. There are now half a dozen stone heads in the collection, each depicting a different figure from Georgian history or the arts. Each face is carved from a single granite or quartz block, all a slightly different shade and texture. The stone is sourced locally and perfectly harmonises with the landscape. Some of the faces mirror the rust-and-amber tints of the nearby travertine mineral springs, others are steely grey with veins of pearl and obsidian.#awesomepic #georgia #sculptures #couplestrip
M U S E U M of M O D E R N A R T (MoMA)
This place gave me a glimpse of real art.. Must-see when you’re in NYC! 😍 It was a busy day during our visit, and it was quite a challenge to take photos with some of the notable artworks. Nevertheless, we have enjoyed looking at each piece especially my best friend who is an art enthusiast and a painter herself 😉

Most incredible place I’ve ever been!
I accidentally saw a post from instagram called “Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek” and i was thinking that it was just another museum to visit but it turned out to be an extraordinary place that you can enjoy the shapes and curves of those sculptures. I am highly recommend. It is just nearby Tivoli park. The ticket price is 125 dkk (650 baht). #museum #art #sculptures #copenhagen #denmark
Glyptoteket | Art and Sculpture Museum 🇩🇰
I enjoyed visiting The Glyptotek or simply known as Glyptoteket which is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. I really love the entrance of the museum which is a garden with a lot of palm trees. Next to the garden is a restaurant where you can enjoy a good coffee and the food was absolutely delicious. 😋
Inside the museum was a huge collection of sculptures. I've read that there are paintings there as well, but I haven't looked into it as I spent all of my time admiring the sculptures. There was also a special exhibition about the City of Amarna - City of the Sun God when I visited. You should definitely put this in your list of places to visit when you are in Copenhagen. 😉

Handcrafted collection displays
There is a shop in Suntec shopping mall called Myths & Legends, where they sell exquisitely crafted art pieces in the forms of different mythical characters. Amongst the sculptures of Greek gods and goddesses are also some classic Chinese emblems of good fortune and health. Suitable for those looking to jazz up their house interiors!

Bulgarian art exhibition
When we were in Bulgaria, we chanced upon an art exhibition that was themed around sustainability. We got to see many students’ works of art in the various mediums, like paintings, sculptures and even wire models. It was a little difficult to understand some of them as there were no English descriptions though.

Arts Sculpture Hunting In Botanics Darwin
Darwin has a botanical garden located right close to the city centre, or just 10-15mins drive away from the airport.
The botanical garden here is very different from the other botanical Gardens you see world wide where there are gorgeous colourful flowers located all around you, but George Bush botanical garden focus more towards plants, trees and uniquely shaped roots.
In the park you will be able to find the famously huge crocodile sculpture, the dragon courtyard where you be able to spot the dragon sculptures, Cycad garden/dinosaur trial where you have to physically spot the dinosaurs as they will not be close to the paved walkway, but instead located inside the bushes.

At siam centre, do join in the fun and do your part to recycle. Find these pig sculptures where you can throw in your used bottled caps, filling these pig sculptures with colors and making them able to have a colourful body.
This is a good and fun initiative, wish they could also do something with the bottles (body!). They are also taller than human size so do pop by for some nice photo shoots as well.

Daming Palace in spring
Location: Daming Palace, Xian, Shaanxi, China
Entrance fee: Free
Date: March 30, 2022
Daming Palace, also known as Daming Palace National Heritage Park opened in October of 2010. It was the imperial palace complex of the Tang Dynasty for more than 220 years.
It’s an awesome place to take a walk along Taiye pond, get some fresh air and enjoy beautiful & fragrant flowers.
There are many sculptures here, but my favorite one is the ladies on the boat. Everything is designed so detailed and that’s so beautiful and realistic.

Museum sculptures
When doing research for what to do in New York, one of the things that came up was the art museums located in various parts of the city. We went to visit a few within a day, like the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MoMA. Depending on how many exhibitions you want to check out, do pace out the visits accordingly to your comfort level so you don’t have to rush.
It was really intriguing to see how the art pieces conveyed multiple meanings within a single sculpture. Very cool stuff!

Wild art
In the heart of midtown Manhattan is this pretty avant garde art exhibition, where they showcase rather wild and outrageous art pieces. Just last year, it got ranked number 15 on the list of most visited art museums in the world, super impressive. It’s a good idea to head here around lunch time when the crowds aren’t that large, so there’s more time and space to properly appreciate the pieces.
We came across this 3-dimensional work that was popping out at us as it had such intriguing visual textures all melded into one. There are also other aesthetically striking works on display, such as the last supper reinterpreted.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hotel sculpture art
Address - Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa, 2 Bukit Manis Road, Sentosa Island, Singapore 099891
One striking feature about Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa is the abundance of pretty sizeable art sculptures! And these are found in beautiful garden spaces surrounded by nature and greenery.
I didn’t expect to see many art works given that it is a chill kind of resort, but it was a nice surprise. I especially liked the golden fishes as it really went well with the environment it was placed in, the actual fish pond! Do keep an eye out for these works of art if you do stay here.

Beautiful art collection
Address - Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa, 2 Bukit Manis Road, Sentosa Island, Singapore 099891
I was pleasantly surprised to find that during our staycation here at Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa, there were many art works scattered all around the resort premises. Many of these can be seen in the Peace Wing and Tranquil Wing, where the rooms and suites are located.
Even within the rooms, there are tons of art works that grace the walls. I especially liked the small
sculptures of people belaying down the side of a wall, it was quite intricately done. Take time to marvel at these works on your stay here too!
