☘️ Therapeutic Time with Terrarium in SG 🌿
We had a terrific team time building our own open terrarium today, getting close to nature and de-stress with a 2-hour workshop.
It was a small class size and beginner friendly. The Sppfy's team provided useful knowledge on terrarium plants and care guides, while we learnt about different terrarium styles, succulents and cacti, materials, and personalized care tips.
We managed to:
🪴 Enjoy the studio entirely to ourselves
🪴 Work with a range of materials and tools to build the look we could ever imagine
🪴 Get unlimited use of basic terrarium materials (plants, rocks, pebbles, gravels, dried flowers and coloured preserved reindeer moss)
🪴 Receive a small white pot terrarium as a beautiful memory
Highly recommended activity if you just need some quiet time for yourself or quality time with your friends, family or colleagues! 😌

Highlight - High quality chocolate
Ambiance - Chocolate store
While shopping at the takashimaya basement area, my hubby and I came across the Godiva chocolate. The quality of their chocolate is delicious. Occasionally, we will splurge and buy some back to enjoy while watching movies at home together. Their Belgium chocolate is really very delicious that you have to try it at least once. Once you try it, you will never stop eating them. I love the packaging of the chocolate. The packaging is very nice and you can buy it as a gift to your friends too.

Address - 68 Orchard Rd, #04-01 20 Plaza, Singapore 238839
Ambiance / highlights - steamboat dinner at an air-conditioned restaurant
Rating - 5/5
My hubby and I, together with some of our friends, we went to the Hai Di Lao at the Plaza Singapura. My favorite is the sliced fish and the sliced meat while my friends favorite was the cheese sausage. We ordered quite a substantial amount of food. We managed to finish the food on time and there was discount given to us. We enjoyed dining at the restaurant as the ambiance was good. It was not too cramped, and the service was top notch. The crew came to us almost immediately when we needed help. With their great food and excellent service, no wonder they are able to expand more outlets in Singapore.
Library at Orchard

Address - 277 Orchard Rd, #03-12 / #04-11 orchardgateway, Singapore 238858
Ambiance / highlights - library in orchard
Rating - 5/5
When my hubby told me there is a library inside the orchard mall, I was surprised. I thought that he was joking. But in fact he brought me there the other time. I then trusted him that there is really a library at the busy street of the orchard. The library was extremely quiet. I love the design of the library in spiral design. There is a round space in the middle of the library where you can rest there and read your books. The library is located at level 4 of the orchard getway mall. All the books were nearly arranged and classified according to the genre.
great top-notched dining…😋😋😋

🍃 Refreshed & Rejuvenated at Jewel Changi
Singapore, oh Singapore! You never fail to leave me mesmerized with your impressive and innovative architecture. We made sure to schedule our flight in the evening so we get to explore this jewel (pun intended) fuss-free.
Highlights:
The lush greeneries at the Shiseido Forest Valley and the HSBC Rain Vortex were absolutely wonderful. Picture perfect at almost every angle! When we were there, they had the Disney 100 year decorations up. The theme changes all the time, so look it up and plan accordingly!
Notable Shops:
Shiki Hototogisu Ramen (#B1-300)
- Delicious Michelin star ramen, paired with a brilliant view of the vortex!
Pokémon Center (#04-201/202)
- Did you know that this is the first Pokémon Center in Asia outside of Japan?
TIP:
1) Check in your luggage early! Or, if you have carry on luggages with you, we suggest dropping it at The Left Baggage at Level 1. Some attractions and some restaurants don't allow luggages, so be sure to check first.
2) There are Light and Sound showcase as well for the vortex! Check it out if your flight is at a later time:
Mon - Thur: 8, 9pm
Fri - Sun, public holidays: 8, 9 & 10pm

Though I went after 2 p.m., the service was relatively slow. The dish took around 15 mins to be served, though the place was not crowded.

Didnt know Watami opened at Bugis+. This outlet is big and spacious. We ordered 5 kinds skewer + set, and tokichi pork don. 5 kinds skewer is very fragrant! Love the veg especially. The pork don is pretty average. Good taste wise but pork is slightly tough for my teeth.
Overall great place still!

The popular dishes are Garlicky Soy Fried Chicken, Honey Butter Chicken, Curry Powder Fried Chicken, Sour Cream and Onion, Cheesy Fondue Chicken, and more. Other than their signature fried chicken, they also serve good quality tobokki, seafood soup, and cheese fries. For drinks, I highly recommend Chir Cream Beer, it’s smooth and easy to drink. Toysrus Kids Toy Paradise
180 Kitchener Road #04-33/36, City Square Mall, Central, 208539
The ToysRUs is definitely the kids toy paradise. Since I was young I will always visit the ToysRUs to look for toys and board games. It has become my go to place every weekend. The shop has evolved into selling more affordable toys to the consumer, unlike in the past where the price is on the higher side.
The shop is huge and there are a wide range of toys from soft toys, to Barbie dolls, to play doh. There is even a small corner for them to play their Lego there. The place is definitely one of the to go place if you are shopping present for children.

Shopping for parties
Address - SKP Supply Store, Junction 8 Shopping Centre, 9 Bishan Place, #04-05, Singapore 579837
This shop is a great place to stock up for your year-end Christmas parties as you can buy some of them in hulk and save quite a bit of money. I use the Christmas decor mainly as table decorations since their designs are quite nice. You can also find other party items like balloons, wrapping paper and ribbons, as well as disposable cutlery and utensils for guests to use. It’s a one-stop shop for all your large gathering needs!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nestled within Orchardgateway Shopping Centre is a very interestingly designed library that looks quite different from all the other libraries in Singapore. With curved shelves and a calming neutral overall tone, it sure is a very inviting place to read. There is even a small stage further inside where the library sometimes holds events like storytelling for children or book-signing.

Address: Koh Grill & Sushi Bar, 435 Orchard Rd, #04-21 Wisma Atria, Singapore 238877
Located inside Food Republic at Wisma Atria, lies a popular sushi and grill place for your Japanese craving.
It was my firsts time eating here and I was surprised by the portion size - it was larger than most sushi places.
The service was fast and the green tea is refillable!
We ordered:-
1. Tamago - 7/10 Huge portion and egg was soft fluffy and on a sweeter side
2. Salmon skin maki - 10/10 Great texture and flavour! It was super delicious I wished I ordered more
3. Salmon Belly Sashimi - 10/10 The quality of the sashimi was great and fresh
4. Salmon Head - 6/10 The fish was not as meaty as I thought it would. And it was lacking taste.
5. Shiok Maki Gen 2 - 9/10 Very interesting dish! The taste was well balanced but lacking texture. Can't quite describe how it taste like but it was delicious!
6. Mental aburi salmon - 5/10 the salmon wasn't torched properly and there was a lack of texture. The mentai taste was lacking but it was still edible

Good pottery workshop experience, it was so much fun making my own ceramic cup. The instructors were very friendly and patient. They will guide you along the making process and make sure you won’t bring back a failed product. They are also great photographers and will help to take the best IG worthy photos of you. One session costs S$30 per person, plus additional S$10 for firing and glazing. Value for money. For beginners, you may choose a cup, mini vase, or bowl. At the end of the session, you can choose your own preferred colour for firing and glazing. There are a lot of samples on display at the studio for inspiration and ideas. IKEA Jurong @ JEM
This is IKEA's first small-concept store in Southeast Asia, and a third outlet in Singapore. There are three levels at IKEA Jurong. Level 2 is Living Room, Level 3 is Bedroom, Level 4 is Kitchen with the popular IKEA food hall and restaurant. It is not quite the mega-store that most of us are familiar with. Here, you can enjoy easier shopping with cashless payments, digital tools, and a combined layout of inspiration and home furnishing. This reduces queues as each floor has its own check-out area. There is information on the number of people at the queue on each level. Special exceptions are made for older folks who prefer other modes of payment. To accommodate the narrower aisles, you can also make use of the smaller IKEA trolleys for shopping. Limited parking. IKEA at Jem is conveniently located next to the Jurong East MRT station.

Ha-Jun Korean, Clementi Mall
Portion wise is good, taste average and not as authentic. Ambience is a food court alike, but with a nice view where you can see Clementi Primary School and some buildings from the window. I ordered Bibimbap, it came with a mini bowl of miso soup and two side dishes, kimchi and anchovies. The kimchi was too sour, and the anchovies were hard to chew. I quite like the Bibimbap though, inside got bulgogi chicken, a few vegetables and topped with a sunny side up fried egg. Okay for a quick fix of lunch or dinner.

The library @ Chinatown point is located at level 4 of the mall. The nearest MRT is the north east line, Chinatown MRT station. There are ample parking lot at level 3 to 6. The library opening hours are from 11am to 9pm.
The library can be accessed via the level 3 escalator, at the other side of the mall, where the travel agencies are located. Once you see the circular slope walkway, that is the one that would bring you to the level 4 library.
The library is a smaller scale compared to the others. It has ample seats and various genres of books. There is even a kids section for parents to bring their kids to read story books. The library is definitely a great place for the young and old to spend their time wisely in a conducive reading environment.
