Experienced with variety of foods at Surin.

We got to visit one of the most popular and big nigh market event which only happens few times per year. There were ton of foods, snacks and other things to see and try. A little bit different taste from our home-country, but we still enjoyed all those tasty bites.

Elephant Roundup Festival Surin

The annual elephant roundup festival in Surin province, north eastern Thailand occurs over two days on a weekend, but the market and fun fair starts a week or two prior to the actual main event and draw crowds of locals with a huge variety of food and activities, plus a fun fair atmosphere.

Thai Street Food

From fresh exotic fruit to scary looking creepy crawlies, Thailand offers an astonishing variety of street food for the adventurous. If you have the guts (excuse the pun) to try you may well be rewarded with tasty food for very little money.

The Surin Elephant Round-up is a cultural festival held every year in Surin Province, Isan, Thailand. Usually the event is organized during the third week of November on the weekend. The festival has its origins in the royal hunts which were conducted in Surin Province during medieval times.
