#singapore #gbtb #gardensbythebay #marinabay #touristsattraction #flowerlover #event
Gardens By The Bay currently has a new event called the Tulupmania that is only happening for a few weeks before the next even rose romance comes about.
These tulips are all the way from Turkey and there are several sculpture and architecture that resembles the Turkish architect and there are various tulips from Netherlands.
The fees here are the general fees required for entry into the flower dome! So make your way down before GBTB remake their dome for another new event.
Kinnie KongSakura viewing at night!
#singapore
Did you know watching Sakura at night is a thing to do in Japan? Called “Yozaukura” viewing cherry blossoms at night gives a completely different and romantic vibe due to how tranquil the nature of Cherry blooms are. Especially the tori gate, mt fuji and even train decorations or the famous straw huts that resembles shirakawa go.
With this year’s theme of Pokémon, spot the different Pokémon characters lying around the dome. We actually visited it every two weeks since the stage of bloom will be different. On this week, which was the last week of the exhibition, leaves has started to bloom which signify the end of season.
crayoncherylTulipmania 2023 at night!
#singapore
As with all my gardens by the bay trip. A visit at night is a must because the atmosphere is just different! To be honest it’s quieter and cooler too.
This year’s Tulipmania is Turkey themed, coupled with nice displays hut and hot air balloons, which allows me to imagine I’m taking a night stroll outside in the streets of Turkey. And there were so many photo spots! Remember they are photo spots not rest area!
I really love tulips and was so happy to see the different species and colours. There are so sparkling lights and plates on display for people to see other countries cultural. Definitely a flower exhibition worth visiting.
crayoncherylTulipmania Day 2023
#singapore
Tulipmania is gardens by the bay’s flower dome yearly event that I look forward too because I love tulips and tulips doesn’t thrive in Singapore’s weather.
This year’s themed was quite rare because it is Turkey inspired instead of the usual countries such as Holland. Plus unlike previous years where the tulips are scattered around. This year’s exhibition really felt like we are in a huge outdoor park.
We love taking a stroll here with these hot air balloons. Some of the tulips was even grown with soil from turkey before flying here.
Be sure to take photo with those architectural spots!

Been in Marina Bay with my girlfriend during her birthday celebration!
It was an amazing experience with lots of wonderful scenery where we took a lot of photos!
The picture was took at around 530pm with almost the sunset view!
Very windy during that day and we enjoy fine dining for her birthday dinner at Clarke Quay!
Will share in another post for the restaurant!#marinabay
YuanFengMarina Bay Sand infinity pool
Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to Singapore. Its unrivaled views, well-designed pool, and luxurious ambiance make it a memorable experience.
The first thing that strikes me when I step onto the pool deck is the stunning panoramic view of the city skyline. The pool's edge seemingly merges with the horizon, creating an illusion of an endless pool that stretches into the sky. The view is particularly mesmerizing during sunset and at night when the city lights illuminate the surroundings.
Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool in Singapore is a breathtaking rooftop attraction with stunning city views. The pool's design and cleanliness add to its luxurious ambiance. The strategic location offers panoramic vistas of Singapore's skyline and landmarks. However, it can get crowded, so timing your visit is recommended. Overall, it's a must-visit destination for an unforgettable experience.
Live life todayYardbird restaurant MBS
If you’re thinking of bringing a date out for a romantic dinner at Marina Bay Sands, I highly recommend Yardbird! The ambience is chill with warm dim lighting to create a nice mood, plus the southern menu is of a reasonable mid-range price.
Staff were super helpful and friendly too. We ordered the salmon and some brussel sprouts that were simply delicious. Only thing was the food did take some time to be served. If you prefer more outdoorsy feels, remember to let the staff know your preference when you make the reservation.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Live life todayMel’s Drive-in at USS
a very crowded dining place within USS where it serves favourites including burgers, fries, and milkshakes.
the menu selection is limited. there are only 4 types of burgers, and it comes with fries. each set costs around S$16. Drinks are sold separately.
there are both outdoor and indoor seating. the ambience was slightly loud (could be what it is for a drive-in restaurant), and it is really crowded despite the timing.
charliniuniversal studio singapore
fun time at Universal Studio Singapore (uss). it's simply a place where we could spend a day. do download the uss app where you can find the guide to the theme park, like the timing for shows and meet and greet or the waiting time for the rides.
for some rides that need a longer waiting time and where you can't bring up any belongings, there will be free locker rental nearby for you to use.
some popular rides like the Battlestar Galactica could have waiting time that goes beyond 90 minutes. express pass is available, but the waiting time is about half, though.

Jewel Changi Airport Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Jun)
Disney 100 Store
#singapore
The Disney 100 store located in Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore is rare sight as Disney store is rare in Singapore. There were other pop up stores selling the same merchandise though.
The store offers a range of products such as apparels, gifts, toys, household items and even some exclusive items that are only localised to Singapore
There is also a mini arcade provides additional entertainment, especially for younger audiences.
Although it's different from those in Japan, it still makes fans happy just to visit one.
However something to note about was they gave bulk discount, which i feel they might have more sales if they gave the lowest price from the start for merchandise such as tees 😂.
crayoncherylBaking Trial Class at ABC Cooking Studio Jewel
#wecreate
Spent a meaningful 2 hours at ABC Cooking Studio Jewel Branch for a baking trial lesson. The special menu for this month is called Crush Blush. It's a beautiful dreamy pinky raspberry cream cheese chiffon sponge cake. All the ingredients and tools were prepared by the Instructor in advance. The best part is you don't have to wash anything. Just bring the used stuff to the cleaning area and they will clean up for us. The instructor guided us throughout the lesson. Basically we just pour everything in and taa-daa, a cake is done! Haha. A nice experience indeed. This branch is located near the waterfall area, with a stunning view.

Where - Shang Social
Address - Jewel @ Singapore Changi Airport, #01-219 to 222
Ambiance/Facilities - Fine dining
Highlights - Bamboo Noodles
Avg. Price per Person - ~S$40
Rating - ✨✨✨✨✨
Brought a friend to have a walk around Jewel before her flight back to Europe and was attracted to the classy decor with dining and service of the Shang 香 group but at great value prices.
We had the must-try bamboo noodle trio. It may not look super atas but the taste will just blow your mind off. End up we each ordered a set instead of sharing. Had some of their special dim sum like salmon dumpling in blue pea. Even their crispy skin dumpling in fried rice noodles is so crispy and delicate that it’s really fit for a king (my European friend so said). Worth mentioning is the roast pork. Lean and fat ratio is just nice with the crackling skin deserves to be rated 101%. It’s so much better than the German pork knuckle and my friend is thinking how to get hold of that recipe to replicate back to her home. 😆
The interior decor is really that of fine dining but still very inviting, not intimidating at all. The attentive service but not overwhelming really made us wanting to stay there forever. Haha.
I must be back again soon!

ZaizaiJewel Changi Singapore
Visited Jewel Changi Singapore which is located just next to Changi Airport. The Jewel was built on a USD1.3b budget back in 2019. This is a major attraction in Singapore now. The centre of attraction is the wafer fall with green plants/trees surrounding it. There are many spots which you can take good nice photos with friends and family. Make sure you explore at different level to get different viewpoints of the Jewel.

Singapore Rojak Mural
#singapore
I came across the Singapore Rojak mural at Terminal 4 of Changi Airport, which spans an impressive length of 37 metres. The artist behind this stunning creation is Yip Yew Chong, who has also painted several other heritage murals across the island. As graffiti is illegal in Singapore, official murals like this are a rare sight. The Singapore Rojak mural depicts the bustling streets of old Singapore, with rows of push carts selling various local delicacies. Interestingly, the mural is named after the popular fruit and vegetable salad dish, 'rojak', as a nod to Singapore's diverse and multicultural society.
crayoncherylJawel Changi
Jewel Changi houses the Rain Vortex, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world. Around it there are many plants that make this waterfall more beautiful like being surrounded by forest.
Jewel is connected to Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1, and connected to Terminals 2 and 3 via SkyBridge.
You can stop by Jewel if you are at Changi Airport or when you are coming there. But remember, Changi Airport is huge. If you don't look for information first, you might get lost.

Dicky PranataSilverkris Lounge Changi Airport
It is possible to go lounge hopping when you are flying business class and have unlimited lounge passes. It is also possible to pay for a lounge or buy a lounge pass. When I buy my air tickets on Trip.com there is an option to add a lounge visit. However, for some business class lounges, they only allow passengers with business class tickets to enter. If you have the chance to fly business class, be sure to try out Silverkris lounge. This lounge at Terminal 2 is smaller compared to the lounge in Terminal 3. Both lounges serve the same food and drinks. You can also take a shower as and when you want. There is hardly any queue for the showers.

AmazingDayRilakkuma @ Changi Airport
Follow me to the best airport in Asia which is Singapore’s Changi Airport. There is always a new theme at the airport and you will always find the most trendy and uplifting decorations. For this school holiday, the theme is Rilakkuma and friends. Our Changi Airport is the most unique airport in the world with a full-on shopping experience which you can never find elsewhere. It is more than just an airport so you really need to spend time here on non-flying days to have a better experience. I am looking forward to the new theme for the next school holidays.
