📌 Hot Tips
· Roads around Samosir are super twisty and hilly—bring anti-motion sickness meds if you get car sick.
· Pack an umbrella (Sumatra’s weather can flip fast) and slather on sunblock.
· Cash is still king at many spots! Stock up before you hop on the ferry.
· Alipay available in some shops (just ask for Qris). Cards aren’t always accepted—so have backup cash.
