In the old market, the famous soap museum houses a variety of handmade soaps. For this special museum, we searched the map all the way. The result was not found at the end. It was accidentally hit by an Ottoman building - Debbane Palace. . From the iconic high staircase into the gate, walk up the spiral staircase to the front desk of the hotel, and downstairs is the bustling street, into the front hall, a gentleman-like housekeeper reception We introduced us to the intricate mosaic decoration, handmade cedar ceilings, interesting historical exhibits and touching historical stories. This former Ottoman nobility building was built in 1721. The entire palace features typical diwans (oriental living room), liwan (a long and narrow hall), several rooms and an open-air courtyard. Features the Ottoman period brown and white striped stones and intricate mosaic gram tiles. Although it is located on the bustling streets of Saida, the interior of the house is a quiet place. The most touching of this ancient Ottoman architecture is the wonderful story that takes place here.

This area is especially quiet, so you can enjoy unhurried cultural moments. The Sidon's Sea Castle - ﻗﻠﻌﺔ ﺍﻠﺑﺤﺮ - on the port of Sidon, was built by the Crusader Knights of St John of Hospital and Jerusalem to guard the port and the city, on the islet where a temple dedicated to Melqart, a Phoenician deity, the patron deity of Tyre, once stood. The castle still stands proudly, despite its age, the neglect of man and the total absence of the Lebanese Institutions , busy - apparently - with "other" affairs. Roman columns, as you can see, and blocks of buildings from the old city were used for its construction. A small minaret, still visible, was later built. It is well worth a stop: there are many cosy restaurants opposite where you can satisfy your palate as well as your eyes.

#mediterranean We visited the Crusaders Sea Castle in Sidon, Lebanon, and had a great time. The castle is historic and beautiful, standing right by the sea. Our family loved exploring the ancient walls and towers. We took amazing photos and learned about its rich history. The views of the Mediterranean were stunning. We enjoyed walking around the castle and imagining life back then. It was a fun and educational experience for all of us. We made some wonderful memories together and would definitely recommend visiting the Sea Castle to anyone interested in history and adventure. It was a highlight of our trip!
