🇨🇭7 days and 6 nights in Switzerland
[Itinerary]
Day 1: Zurich
If you've been to many European countries, you can skip the Zurich City Walk because urban areas across Europe are pretty similar.
Day 2: Fräkmüntegg
If you're looking to play the toboggan, this is a must-do! I went at the end of April, so many activities weren't open yet. I was a little disappointed at first, but luckily I found the Summer Toboggan, Switzerland's longest, located at the Pilatus Fräkmüntegg.
Day 3: Grindelwald
In Grindelwald, we stayed at the Sunstar Hotel. Because it was off-season, the price was even better than usual! It was the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed at! In the morning, we parked our car at the hotel's designated car park (15 CHF per day), then took the cable car to the first mountain! When visiting the first mountain, you absolutely must do the Trottibike. It's thrilling but a little dangerous, so you need to control your speed.
Day 4: Rosenlaui Glacier
This spot is absolutely stunning! Photos don't do it justice! The scenery is beautiful, but the path can be a bit treacherous. The path up the mountain is narrow, and it's incredibly quiet. I wouldn't recommend going alone.
Day 5: Tasch - Zermatt - Gorgergrat
If you're going to Zermatt, I recommend staying in Tasch. The value for money is far better than Zermatt. We took the Gornergrat around 2 PM to see the Matterhorn from the summit.
Days 6 & 7: Bern & Lucerne
These two places are not worth visiting, as it's just the city, so we'll just be walking.
