Awesome park! We all loved the beautiful flowers! What a wonderful feeling to enjoy nature!!! We could've stayed longer to not miss the last city bus. The park is vast and it is virtually impossible to cover all places in a day if you plan to cover the area slowly and hike around and enjoy the greenery of the entire park. We visited the Country Garden area which is accessible via bus using the Higashi Guchi and Chuo Guchi entrances. There are eating places at reasonable prices at the top of the Country Garden, and is a nice place for a slow walk among the flower fields around that area. Adjacent to the country garden is a short walk to the Kodomo park area which is suitable for children.

Shiroi Koibito Park was a place that we thought about visiting before changing our minds and then changing our minds back again. We weren't sure we'd have enough time due to the fact that, though in Sapporo, the park is not that close to the downtown area of the city. However, after spending most of the day at the Jozankei Onsen village we got back to central Sapporo with enough time to see the famed factory after all.
The first thing one notices upon entering the factory's gates is the beautiful rose garden. It was magical to walk through the gardens and see the beautiful varieties of roses on display, most of which were still in full bloom. A large number of the roses were David Austin breeds which I love and have in my own garden at home so that was a special treat.
Once inside the factory building, we opted for the standard tour that allows you to view the production before depositing you in a large gift shop. The production area was absolutely spotless and seemed to run like a well-oiled machine [in typical Japanese fashion]. Even the gift shop was nice, with many special items that could only be purchased at the factory location. Well worth the visit.

Amazing scenaries in Japan even in the bleak of Winter. Experienced great beauty of Hokkaido #givethanks
Go to Hokkaido .. and the one you love
Hokkaido is definitely the best choice for winter travel
Izakaya (Japanese Style Pub) in Sapporo
Walk around in Otaru's Music Box Museum
Go to Hakodate to see the sea and leave all your worries behind
Go to Noboribetsu, Furano Ski
I went in November, and many winter restrictions have not started.
It is recommended to go in February, you can catch up with many winter restrictions.
Lovely scenery. Nice park surrounding. I went up to the Sapporo TV Tower and believe that it is a must do if you are in the area, the views are amazing from so high up and the park surrounding is lovely especially if you go on sunny days when there are market stalls selling ice cream and food. You have to wait in line, but at the end, a view on Odori park from this tower is most splendid! There is a good souvenir shop just near the observation platform, plus apple juice in cans you can buy from a vending machine right on the top was delicious! “Robot” shrine is also a very interesting feature of this place! Recommended, if you have time in Sapporo.

Sapporo Snow Festival is a must visit during winter in February at Odori Park. You can see many snow sculptures here from building, Doraemon, Pokemon and many more. We arrived on the last weekend of the festival so it was very busy and some the smaller sculptures had started to melt but the scale was impressive. Best in my mind was the Helsinki Cathedral and the JR display which used video onto the sculpture to make it look like it was moving. Huge variety of food and drink available all around the festival and also live music on a couple of stages. We spent an hour watching a popular local band who had all their fans dancing in sync.

This is a huge public park and we wanted to visit the different attractions like the fountain, the hill and the Glass Pyramid. The walk going up to the hill was around 20 minutes. The view was amazing at the top as you can see the skyline of downtown Sapporo with the mountains in the background. Wonderful, unique park dedicated to a talented artist.
The first impression of the park from the internet was a cool looking park designed by Isamu Noguchi.
Once I enter the park, I was delighted to find out that you can rent a bike to ride in the park. The landscape, clean air, relaxing atmosphere we could just escape from all the routine in our life momentarily. Great experience!

This is a stadium used for ski jumping. We took the ski lift up to the top of the jump and there is a look out tower. The jump is about 300 meters above sea level. You can see the panoramic view of downtown Sapporo from the top. We came in the evening and the lights of the city was amazing. It was cold and windy at the top but well worth the experience. The ski jump is open to the public on days when competitions and official practices are not being held, and visitors can ascend to the peak of the mountain on the double lift. There, they can experience the unimaginable steep approach and the intensity of the sport while also enjoying spectacular scenery.

A nice art museum having a good, (relatively small) collection of modern Japanese paintings, worth a visit if this has interest. At the same we visited, the museum also hosted a couple of other temporary exhibitions of contemporary Japanese artists. Both excellent and popular judging from a massive number of visitors for these. The biggest issue is that essentially everything is only in Japanese, so it is hard to get a more detailed understanding of the paintings. But if Sapporo and you have an hour to spend, try it out.

There is so much more that just gardens here - there are also a few small museums with information on the history of the Ainu people, animals of region, and local history.
If you like gardens, you'll probably go here anyway, but even if you don't, it is a lovely calm spot in the middle of the city.

Nakajima is a beautiful park, well organized, and well appointed with a small river, benches, plenty of toilets, statutes, an observatory and historic building, a lake or two and lots of easy paths. We happened to be here in the Autumn when the ginkgo trees were full of yellow leaves as well as bright red maples.

This spot is far from the center of Sapporo city, it takes 50-minutes by the train and local bus. From the nearest bus stop 'Toyohata' it's a 15-minute walk to the center of the park. In this park, there are white birch trees, artificial hills and a pyramid of glass. You can rent a bike for 300 yen per 2 hours to cycle around this big site. The bicycle station is nearby a car parking lot.

Great resort, been here a few times. Fantastic powder snow, small only 3 lifts but plenty of space and back country to keep you going all day. Cheap lift ticket and good food at reasonable cost. Though not the prettiest of cafes, and it closes quite early, the beers are cold. Very friendly shop, they fixed my binding for free. Good coffee in the ticket office. Good percentage of snowboarders, like most resorts in Japan. So not so mant rude people. Go there!

Painted onto the brick Icon of this unassuming red brick building is a big branded beer - Sapporo Star. Although we are not drinkers, this brand we could not miss in our own country. A very short factory tour was arranged. We traverse through Cello's where beer were previously brewed, fermented & kept before we sits down to enjoy the locally brewed beer. As the place was packed, it was stuffy & we soak in the novelty of having visited a beer making factory.

Hokkaido's location in Japan is just like Japan's location in the world. In Hokkaido, people have the most complete horizon in their sights. The day of humanity begins here, and it opens from day to day.
The beauty of Hokkaido is different in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. It looks like a girl with a lot of charm and beauty, but Hokkaido in winter shows a silvery white world, which is known as the 'Snow Country'. It is the most beautiful season in Japan.
Although in winter, it doesn't matter whether it is Heilongjiang or Hokkaido. When one day I can fly freely, I think I will stand on the shore of Hokkaido and look into the distance. Maybe I will be the moment that passes by in time
It also adjusts itself appropriately in accordance with the surrounding environment. when it
When it fell from a height and touched the hard rock, it splashed a wave of silver and white waves without any indication. then. Sigh of the breeze. The roar of the waterfall, the groan of the flowing water, are intertwined into a unique dance music, which is prohibitive
Can't stop feeling a romance overflowing in my heart
The cold weather in Hokkaido is indeed calming. I stood on the platform and let that cold wind surround me, let the sound of the day soothe my mood, let all those thoughts drift
The running water rushed into the room, letting a worry about this misty canyon.
People say that Hokkaido goes four times in its lifetime, one each in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Scenery in spring, vacation in summer, flower viewing in autumn, skiing in winter. At any time and in any season, you don't need much preparation to go to Hokkaido. You can simply set off and be different in Hokkaido in the four seasons. At this moment, set out to meet the winter in Hokkaido
It is the only road among Japan's 47 prefectures and prefectures. It is also the northernmost first-level administrative region. It is the largest island in Japan except Honshu, and it is the 21st largest island in the world, slightly smaller than the island of Ireland. The Tsugaru Strait borders Honshu Island to the south, and the Zongu Strait borders Sakhalin Island to the north. Sapporo is the administrative center and largest city of Hokkaido.
Hokkaido, a city ranked first in Asia's warm and romantic rankings.
This is how I feel about Hokkaido. I have seen those travel introductions and said that it is worth going four times in a lifetime.
Spring cherry blossoms, summer flowers, autumn maple, winter snow
But I'm Hokkaido most fond of winter.
Close your eyes and feel the powder snow falling on your body, no matter how cold it is, it doesn't matter, the heart has rushed to the city involuntarily.
The journey is on New Year's Day at the beginning of the year. If you want to experience this kind of snow-covered picture, it is generally recommended to go after December.
Hot spring hotels in Hokkaido, Japan are a little bit expensive, especially the so-called net red hotel, 3000.4000 can not be walked away, and it must be booked in advance. So this treasure-level hot spring hotel within 1,000 yuan, I
It was recommended by 5 stars. I went there twice in two consecutive years.
This hotel is very few people, in addition to locals, but also more Hong Kong people and Taiwanese. The price of around 1,000 is for breakfast and dinner for two people, which is very, very affordable.
The entire hotel is in a separate area, behind the hotel is a snow-capped forest, and in front of it is a quiet branch lake, so you can basically see the blue lake as soon as you open the window. Fully Japanese-style decoration, wear
You can take a lot of beautiful photos while wearing a yukata.
Soaking hot springs, the most important thing is definitely hot springs. Pure natural hot spring water, a century-old shop, has received many Japanese leaders, watched the introduction of the hotel, and the king of Sweden came to visit the last generation.
Then, the locals also come to soak daily, but you can imagine that the water quality is very good.
The hot spring is divided into 1. The indoor high temperature and low temperature area can also be seen outside the scenery pool is larger
2. The outdoor hot spring area can overlook the snowy poolside, and there is a small sauna next to the lake.
3. (Specially recommended) The outdoor hot spring connected to the lake is completely empty. No one takes photos.
