Just finished watching Nolan’s Odyssey. My first thought walking out of the theater: This isn’t a movie; it’s clearly a travel promo for five countries. The crew filmed for a full 91 days across Greece, Italy, Morocco, Iceland, and Scotland. All to bring the story of the ancient Greek hero Odysseus’s journey home after the war from Homer’s epic to life, frame by frame, set against real landscapes. I heard about Bandipur just recently and wanna see the cool, stylish Newari city woth my own eyes. I and my boyfriend rode a bike from KTM to Gandaki, Thanahun District. It tooks 5 hours. Garangja hotel is stands there quitely. It is a brand new hotel with reasonable price and you will enjoy the good view of Himalaya, even you have a bath. ☺️ We thought it will be expensive but we were surprise with 2000 Nepali rupee per night with such magnificent view. The staffs are really kind and warmth. The food are great. The room are clean. I love it and this will be for sure my hotel when I visit Bandipur next time. Btw, the staff even took me to explore Bundipur in the morning walk.
