had a wonderful time with my family exploring Rehoboth Beach Delaware . I would highly recommend staying at the comfort inn off rt 1. in between the Walmart and the Safeway grocery store. extremely convenient to walk to either especially the Safeway it is literally right next door.

Seriously, the energy here is contagious – everyone’s either living their best vacation life or just vibing with the waves. Start your adventure right on the legendary Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk (1 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971). It stretches for about a mile and is sooo easy to walk. You’ll see classic beach arcades, tempting food stands (hello, boardwalk fries and Grotto Pizza 😋), and loads of cute little shops. Morning strolls hit different here! The sun and salty air were basically therapy. The ocean views? Unreal. The kids had a blast building sandcastles and chasing seagulls while we just chilled out. Beach access is literally steps from the boardwalk, which is so convenient for everyone. Don’t skip Funland (6 Delaware Ave)! This iconic amusement park is open from May to September and brings in all the retro carnival vibes – think bumper cars, rides, and arcade games that’ll throw you way back. Pro tip: If you need parking, the main lot is by the end of Rehoboth Avenue, but it can fill up fast, especially on weekends and summer afternoons. Go early for the best spots! If you’re around for lunch or an early dinner, grab a bite at one of the many local joints. There are tons of options within walking distance, and you seriously can’t go wrong with Thrasher’s French Fries or a classic saltwater taffy from Dolle’s Candyland. Opening hours for most shops and attractions: Boardwalk: Open 24/7 (lit up at night – so pretty!) Funland: Daily, 1 p.m.–11 p.m. (seasonal, May–Sep) Shops/cafés: Usually open by 10 a.m. and close around 9–10 p.m. in peak season Final verdict? Rehoboth Beach gives all the fun, family energy you could want in a quick escape. Walking here is never boring – it’s a vibe you’ll want to come back for every summer!
